Fantastic experience: A (not so) little gem in Ludlow! Fantastic facilities with a gym, functional room, great pool and a spa - spa includes a jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and a cooler sauna. Well maintained, with friendly and helpful staff, and well priced for everything that you get included! Really impressive for a little town in rural Shropshire!

Positive experience: Very good facilities and clean. Pleasant staff. Small changing rooms with "coin free" lockers. For some reason, a small percentage of people leave their (usually scruffy) clothes lying around in the changing room instead of using lockers, this is very untidy.

Negative experience: We took our two 6 year old kids for a swim. Unfortunately the pool was so cold that after about 30 minutes we had to get out as they were both shivering . The flume wasn't operational and the fountains in the kids area were off. it made for an expensive 30mins Not a great experience.

Fantastic experience: What a fantastic public facility you have in Ludlow. We visited to use the spa and gym whilst on holiday here. It is such great value. The spa was lovely, as good as any private facility and the staff were lovely. The gym is well equipped and very peaceful and tidy. If you live in Ludlow please make use of the leisure centre and know how lucky you are. I wish we had this where we live.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic facilities and staff are very helpful and friendly but also professional at the same time. The only down side are opening times. Weekdays only open at 06:30 which doesn’t allow time to train if you start work earlier than 9am. Weekends close to early. CAN YOU CHANGE THE TIMES PLEASE.

Positive experience: Haven’t used this pool for a long time. Was very disappointed when I used it today to find that it still smells disgusting. It is a ‘dirty drain’ smell which is worse half way up the pool on the changing rooms side. People just seem to tolerate it. Is it Public Health Inspectors I should be contacting?

Positive experience: First time visit to the spa. Very secure feel to this area. All the facilities were in working order sauna, saunariam, salt inhalation, jacuzzi, showers and the heated stone loungers. Cannot show the photos as cameras are not allowed

Fantastic experience: Gym has had a refurb, downstairs is really nice with lots of toys! Squat racks, assault bike, boxes, sled, rig, good dumbbell and kettle bell selection. Great to use if you're in the area and want a session. Also cardio area upstairs with lots of equipment (treadmills, rowers etc)

Fantastic experience: The staff are always happy to help and the facilities are great The price of membership is extremely reasonable and their classes are fantastic I would recommend it without hesitation to anyone looking for a fun place to enjoy themselves and get fit

Positive experience: Popped in for a lane swim now the booking system (work erratic hours so booking never works) from the covid policies has changed to walk in. Not too busy on a Friday afternoon and a pleasant swim although I found the slow lane too slow, the medium too fast and the fast lane empty.

Fantastic experience: Helpful staff and clean facilities. Large changing rooms, and the gym is large and well equipped. There are modern workout machines and they provide sanitiser and social distancing in all areas. The swimming pool is clean and has a nice atmosphere. Memberships are on the expensive side, but I always have a good experience.

Fantastic experience: Un pequeño spa muy agradable, me invitó mi amiga para darme una sorpresa, tiene un jacuzzi, dos duchas de agua fría-caliente (una de ellas sólo salía agua fría), y 3 salas sauna, baño turco y otra con menos temperatura y humedad, me llamó la atención que no obligaran a utilizar gorro de baño y chanclas como en España, salimos súper relajadas

Negative experience: My daughter and husband went to the the leisure centre this morning around 10/11 to have a look around before purchasing a membership, on arrival they greeted the receptionist lady and told her they just wanted wanted a quick look around which she said was perfectly fine. Whilst looking around they heard the receptionist put through on the walky talky to look out for them?! Made my daughter feel very uncomfortable that she ended up walking out and will not be purchasing a membership. I'd understand if they were acting suspicious but they had let the receptionist know what they where doing befehand so I don't know why this was necessary.

Positive experience: Went for the family fun session on a Friday. Very helpful staff on duty and diligent lifeguards too. Plenty of floats on offer and my grandchildren had a good time on them and swimming. Not a 'fun' pool as such but a proper pool with good facilities.

Positive experience: I went swimming for the first time in months, as from April 12, leisure centres were able to re-open. The last year has been such a difficult time and it was a very hard winter for everyone. I booked in for an hour's session on a Friday afternoon - not too busy at all and the lanes were spaced out. They have managed the social distancing procedures well and there is a separate entry and exit point, including a temperature check when entering the building. The lockers are not being used, but separate containers provided for valuables. Overall, very well done and an enjoyable swim.

Fantastic experience: So glad to be back for swimming lessons with my little one. It's covid safe to as they have hand sanitiser & temperature checks at the entrance, your still able to go swimming in your groups of 6. Swimming lessons are still able to go ahead, fitness sessions are also allowed to go ahead. Well done for being able to do all the changes during this crazy time

Fantastic experience: Brilliant spa facilities. We didn't use the pool as additional price but we love the spa and pop.in every time we are down visiting. We are from Bristol and we prefer this spa to all those in Bristol. Very relaxing, very well thought out, love the addition of the salt steam and at a great price!

Negative experience: Overpriced with poor facilities and lack of classes. For such an affluent area it's embarrassing that this is what's on offer. Needs serious investment and improvement which it clearly hasn't had in years.

Positive experience: Only used the pool area, got huge potential but unfortunlty the changing rooms in particular the female group changing room is now very clean and the bin is rarely emptied, in the morning before any swimming sessions the nappy bin can be full stinking the whole room out, would only take a few minutes to change the bin the end of each day. Also the changing rooms are usually very cold not nice when you have little ones.

Negative experience: Pool is dirty, some staff is not very nice.

Negative experience: Refused entry to swim with my twins even though I have been swimming with them in pools all over the country with no problems. If you are a single parent with twins, go literally anywhere else.

Positive experience: The spa fountain is falling off, the hot monsoon shower is not hot on first press of the button so maybe saves energy with low heat, but uses twice as much water. The drainage in the car park is abysmal it has almost as much water as the swimming pool when it rains

Positive experience: Good facilities,gym weights only go up to 45kg for dumbbells but there are short bars to make up your own. Not really a hard core gym more fitness brigade and pensioners in the daytime. Pool is great and the slide is a bonus for older kids.

Negative experience: Expensive, pool is always cold too.

Negative experience: Don't bother for what you are paying for there are way better gyms and cheaper. Equipment is out dated opening times need to change for weekends. The pool never has enough lanes on for serious swimmers or intermediate. Overall Pants....

Fantastic experience: We were there for one of the last Triathlon events of the season. I'm always astonished at how well the place copes with so many visitors. Always clean and friendly.

Fantastic experience: Just made my first visit since the covid-19 shut down. The staff have worked very hard to make changes to enable the reopening & I felt very safe. Can't wait for the next Zumba class tomorrow
