Fantastic experience: Amazing staff who always go the extra mile for the members. Beautiful conversion of a stunning church with some great skill gone into the design, particularly the use of wood everywhere. It’s spenny but if you can afford to invest in yourself then this place is a great choice. The classes are brilliant and other members are friendly and supportive of each other. The spa area saves me a fortune on therapy and the coffee is great too! I’m fitter, stronger and healthier since joining, it’s been a game changer for me. Thanks to all at NF.

Fantastic experience: A lovely place to work out and relax. I’ve been a member since late 2021 - here are some of my pros and cons: PROS: Spotlessly clean facilities Kim, Isaura, Lucy and Michelle are brilliant instructors and all the classes with them are top notch! The spa is a dream to use and a very calming place to relax in after a workout. The building is gorgeous. The cafe provides well made, healthy food and juices. Everyone who works there is lovely and the whole place is run very smoothly by the excellent manager, Marie. CONS: Due to the layout of the building, noise disturbance is an issue. Occasionally during a yoga class on the top floor, someone will be using a treadmill below and alongside being really loud, it makes the entire floor shake! Half the jets in the hydro pool keep breaking. The cafe used to provide free fruit but doesn’t do this any more. The food selection is quite limited if you don’t want to spend £12 on a salad. When I first joined, there were some excellent instructors but many of them left due to the heavy workload. It was a real shame to see these people go. Let’s hope the current instructors stick around and that the company recognises their worth! I would comment on price, it is rather expensive but if you’re looking for a well kept gym with a wonderful spa and small group classes with excellent instructors then this price seems fair.. apart from the £100 per day to bring a guest!

Positive experience: There is good - and then less good - but generally good. Natural Fit is a beautifully designed, well-thought-out health club in a refurbished church. The style of the gym equipment is great, the wooden elements and the breadth of and quality of all the equipment is really great. The pool is lovely and this is one of the only places with a nice pool complex. The staff are friendly and the food is good. There are some less good elements though, for the price - and it is at the very top end - this is not yet a place where you can have a full body fitness routine. It lacks a cold plunge pool where you can fully submerge for a period of time. I appreciate that this is a unique element - but it has been well proven by health practitioners as a fundamental - and for the amount that is paid per month, all the fundamentals for full body and mind health and fitness should be available. There are also some smaller elements like a lack of scales to weigh in, no way of doing deeper evaluation of BMS etc, again a simple priority for any one who is being thoughtful about their routine or looking to achieve goals. I have asked for both - as have other members, but no results are forthcoming...yet. My frustration is that there is no better alternative, but it also leaves me not being a fully satisfied customer.

Negative experience: All I wanted was to know the joining fee. No one picked up the phone. Transferred to Tunbridge Wells. Answerphone full. No info on website. Won’t be joining.

Fantastic experience: Love it here. The building is beautiful. Very well equipped, with a large array of different equipment types. Excellent classes to cover all ability levels. The pool is just lovely for a relaxing rather than laps type swim. The food is fabulous. The staff are fantastic - so knowledgeable, friendly, and cannot do enough for you. Myself, partner and his father are all members and it’s money well spent.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing place for training

Positive experience: Amazing gym and spa. I came as a free guest of a member (my partner) today during a promotion and did two classes, went for a run and then had a swim and steam. The whole experience is fantastic. It’s very costly though to be a member. If you have the cash to spare, then it’s worth it. My partner enjoys it and all the staff are super friendly and remembered his name or previous chats and that makes you feel special. My only criticism is that the sealant in the showers needed replacing and the showers needed a bit of a scrub but that could easily be sorted. It’s been heavily used today on member guest day. Anyone can use the cafe/ bar so I’ll definitely be back for lunch and a highly recommended green smoothie. Thanks for a lovely afternoon. I loved it!

Fantastic experience: The place of dreams! A carefully throughout gym with bespoke equipment. Thoughtful and attentive staff and a spa area that is so clean and modern. Perfectly selected features to make you really feel special. I fully recommend the daily salads and how attentive and knowledgable the staff are with allergies. An truly incredible place!

Fantastic experience: When you walk into Natural Fit Hove it just feels a bit special. The building, facilities and décor are beautiful and well equipped and the staff are positive, friendly and personal. There are a wide range of classes from reformer Pilates to Latin dance, yoga for all levels, TRX, cardio and core-based classes. The pool is tranquil and has the air of a spa or resort to fully unwind. You can tell that the owners really value and listen to their members. It has that modern google vibe that you can work and dip in and out of classes for a mental/body break to really ensure you have a good work life balance. Lots of space to enjoy fitness, use the café, relax or work.

Fantastic experience: I joined at the beginning of December, having been blown away by how beautiful the church re-furb is and the amazing mix of classes and facilities, both exercise and spa. I have now been a member for 7 weeks and I am so pleased I made the decision, having been a little reticent about the cost and how often I might use it. I see there have been a few negative reviews on here, and clearly, folks are looking for different things from a health club membership, so it's important to think it through before making a big financial commitment. For anyone considering joining, I make the following observations: - the place is beautiful and it's a pleasure to spend time there - the staff are all absolutely delightful, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and very supportive whatever your level of fitness - the range of classes is huge, with all sorts of things you'd never try which are alot of fun (always useful and it keeps you coming back) - the classes are always small, with one to one tuition from friendly supportive coaches - the app for booking is easy to use - the pool and spa area is lovely, but may become crowded when membership gets fuller - my only gripe of any significance is the number of members who book classes and don't turn up - lots of classes show as full, and when you arrive, there are only a couple of people in the class. Management know of this and I suspect will be working on ways to mitigate. All in all, a lovely vibe about the place. Think nice spa and classy exercise facilities - if you want aerobics, spin and pumping iron this isn't the right place. But if you're looking for what I described above, it's great!

Fantastic experience: Dear Natural Fit, I just want to say I have been a member of the most amazing club/ spa since mid August which is really local to me.I do not use it to the full extent at the moment but that is down to me but I have been using the beautiful spa each day which one again allows for a relaxing swim workout for those that are not of Olympic standards.I cannot think of a nicer or better place to start the day.It is beautifully clean and modern and rivals any posh hotel spa.I also want to say all of the staff are wonderful, friendly and super helpful.I look forward to exploring more of the classes and facilities in the next few weeks.Thank you all.

Positive experience: I can say without any hesitation that my life has been really enhanced by this gym/club opening. The facilities are great, the ambience really relaxing and uplifting at the sametime, the staff lovely. I particularly now enjoy the pool, yoga and the spa facilities. The gym equiptment is high class as are the pilates and rope climbing frame. its not a busy, loud, HIIT class based environment - so not for everyone. That said you can work out as hard as you like. its a converted church so really elegant. yes, this place is a bit more expensive but it is worth it for me.

Negative experience: In line with my wife's comments, and to respond to the club's response, during the tour, we made it clear that we would be swimming about 2000m-2500m all styles for about 1h or 1:30h. I did expressed my concerns with the size of the swimmingpool. The salesman did say the swimming was being used for clients in the same fashion( just lying to get us joining the club). As the joining fee was a joke, i passed and my wife joined. Few weeks later she is told she can only swim 30min and not when it suits her. An apologie would have sufficed. However, they never made a mistake........simply be straight and honest to people and listened to them and whether your club is what they are looking for.

Negative experience: Very unsatisfied customer. I had a really bad experience at Natural fit. Before joining the club they ensured that I could swim in their SPA/swimming pool with no problems or limits. After one month and an half, they started saying that I had to reduce my swimming time to 30 minutes or change the time of the day I attended the swimming pool. This is something that I would never expect after paying £300.00 enrollment fee and £180.00 a month. There is no clarity on the £300.00 you pay if you want to be their member. I found out after one month and an half that the £300.00 was for the induction and program scheme, but in my case no one clearly explained that to me or notify to me that I still had to do the induction and program scheme. Again, something you would not expect paying this cost a month. Changing room: very small; I would not recommended to anyone if you like practicing sport sticking to reasonable work outs and with proper gym machines as some basic ones are not available at Natural fit.

Fantastic experience: Went for a tour of Natural Fit Hove with a friend this week and was impressed by the look and feel of the place. Booking a look around was v easy and we got all the info. we needed. It's definitely top end - facilities and pricing - but is a place for relaxation as well as exercise. We were shown around by a guy called Jack, who was very knowledgeable and had an informed, honest approach with no hard sell, which we really appreciated. Now I just need to work out whether I'd use it enough to justify the expense...

Negative experience: I was excited that there was a higher end gym with a pool near where i lived and invisioned a little bit of loveliness to work and play during the day before going home to mum. getting that working remotely life balance ive been hoping for. However, i was a bit underwhelmed if I'm honest. it felt small somehow, and under equipped, and the design seemed not right, insular maybe, its hard to explain . but mainly I felt like i was being sold a fluffy concept based on an idea of what a "Brighton person sudo hippy" wants from a wellbeing service... which was a little offensive and a tad annoying. I think that the Elitism really shone through with the 150 quid visitors pass if you brought a friend, was a little bit of a joke tbh. Even with all of this " brand identity " annoying me- the convenience of a pool next to my home, even a dinky one helped me swallow the "mugging off "design of this facilities concept. But alas, i did not receive an email as requested to register with my son when i got home... and shoddy customer service is simply a step to far. NB: if you are into things like animal breath classes ( or something like that, i zoned out) then its 180pcm and 300 for an intro fee. a quite a more than the standard but the wet area is lovely ( but the pool is small for any meaningful swimming -15mtres )

Negative experience: The process is awkward and they are very secretive about pricing (no info on their website at all!) So here's how it works: it's membership only. Initial sign up fee is £300, and then £180 per month on a rolling contract. So £480 upfront. Not cheap, and they're clearly embarrassed about that or otherwise the pricing would be disclosed on their website!

Fantastic experience: I joined the day it opened as i had been looking forward to it for many months, luckily i live only 5 mins walk away. The club is amazing - all brand new, lovely equipment designed to take care of your body and the design and layout using a conversion of an old church is awesome. I think i have been to the club more times than days its been open either just to use the beautiful spa or do one of the many daily classes. If you are looking to pump iron this is not for you but if you are looking for a very relaxed club where you can improve and restore health then this is the one. The staff are so helpful and having done yoga for 20 years I was so chuffed to find excellent new teachers utilizing new methods but mixing with what i know already. You can have a healthy lunch and a glass of wine or even a whisky if you so choose. There is no stigma at this place - not even a a swipe card on entry - just face recognition which again makes you feel very welcome. Cant say enough good things and no I am not related to one of the owners or paid for this review but the service was so good today i felt my duty to tell others. Mark Weston
