Positive experience: Great place for swimming and leisure activities. Staff friendly and helpful with the beach opposite and local amenities at hand. Sundays are a great time for rounders there is a league and it's short and fun. 40 mins per game. Go for it guys get out there and see what's on offer. Neath port talbot all the way.

Negative experience: Please read of your child has additional needs. First time we went there for swimming the reception staff were lovely. Pool experience was OK. The second time we went there again the reception staff are amazing. When we got to the pool our son loves the slide yet it was quite cold in there again and he was shivering and I heard alot of other children complaining it was cold. Next time I'll put his swim t-shirt on. Why I've given a not so good review is because of one of the male life guards. The slide was getting busy our son went up the slide to soon and he was shouting for him to wait and I explained to the lifeguard he is autistic and doesn't understand very well and the life guard completely dismissed me. It felt like he didn't care about what I had to say about the explanation of why my son didn't acknowledge anything. He even rolled his eyes slightly and shook his head that really upset me as its not my sons fault he has additional needs. I understand he is doing his job but that wasn't a good experience. The female life guard that he took over was lovely and the one who took over from him was lovely.

Positive experience: went to the soft play area with my 1.5 year old. the lady on reception was lovely. can't fault the staff. play area is small but it's good enough for what we needed. HOWEVER it is dirty. we went first thing this morning and it was dusty everywhere. there were bits of food/ crisps in the soft play area. we were the first people there/ the only ones in the morning so it clearly has not been cleaned over night or in fact for a long time.

Negative experience: Soft play does not feel safe for the children. Especially when adults think it's okay to follow children around and ask them personal questions while staring at them the entire time they are playing. There were no staff members monitoring the large groups of adults that do not have children with them. Very unsafe experience.

Negative experience: I had taken my kids for indoor skating there which was good experience. But after skating kids decided to play in soft play area. After sometime my younger kid came out running crying. When asked he said he was beaten by two kids. My wife went inside and warned the kids. When i returned home my child said the two kids lifted him with legs and hands and tossed him like toy. And shouted go back. Horrible! Are we in uk really?

Negative experience: All nice and good until somebody steals your belongings and they don't want to check CCTV even with a crime reference number from the Police.

Fantastic experience: Very clean the cafe is value for money and tha staff are friendly and work si hard

Negative experience: Cancelled my direct debit due to moving away and was charged £37 for not allowing a months notice. I think given the current financial situation, gyms like Celtic Leisure should have more of an understanding around clauses like this. I've spoken to people about how they were able to freeze their account whilst away but I was declined when asking if I could freeze it. Please lower the cancellation fee.

Negative experience: Beware that the children's pool is too cold for babies under 3 months. We were told by the unbothered staff that the temperature was 29 degrees on the day we visited, which is concerning as any baby under 3 months should be swimming in at least 32 degrees. Clueless staff.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this place and all the people my2nd home lol.

Positive experience: Review update* The gym has had a recent update on cardio equipment here, and it's much better. Also, kids are not running around here anymore, and the instructors are no longer babysitters. I can't fault most of the instructors, Luke, steve, and Emma are fantastic. Pool is always very cold though, signed my daughter up, who has JIA child arthritis and the coldness affects her after just 15 minutes in the large pool. No sauna facilities here like Neath leisure centre.

Negative experience: Took my two year old to the splash park which is run by Celtic leisure and their life guards who didn't look old enough to supervise. They left older kids kick a football up into the water equipment to drop onto whoever was below, that being my 2 year old and another smaller kid. When my other wife complained they said they are allowed to and we're inexperienced to see the hazards. I'm sure the risk assessment for the park didn't cover this activity. They also sat down and left the water park area littered with rubbish, no work ethic or responsibility, poor performance from Celtic leisure

Fantastic experience: I enjoy the scuba training on Thursday evening with Scuba Wales. Friendly Lifesavers and big changing rooms with clean toilets.

Positive experience: Its always rammed in the cafe not enough seating, the pool spectators is absolutely boiling and could do with some air con in there

Negative experience: Tried the Aqua, really loved it but the pool is half full of pensioners just meeting up for a chat. Unfortunately this prevents the people who are trying to exercise from benefitting from the classes as you can't move without bumping onto Doris propping up Daphne while they talk about the price of sanotogen in asda.

Fantastic experience: Started attending this Gym recently. Very clean, well staffed with plenty of machines.

Negative experience: Do not send your child to swimming lessons here, some of the instructors are young and while watching my son's class the instructor and life guard spent more time flirting with eachother than actually watching the kids. They also looked like they were making fun of the kids and laughing about it after doing a kicking motion. On one occasion they put my child into the wrong class and he could not touch the floor and swallowing water while they just stood there, I have complained and to be honest nothing was done. Absolutely shocking and the worst I have seen. Avoid at all costs.

Fantastic experience: Great sculpt class with ‘Bones’ this morning .I really enjoyed it, well planned, a good all over work out and motivating music. Negative experience: Half of the pool plus one lane were being used for lessons. Only 3 lanes available for swimming during the scheduled lane swimming. Pool and changing rooms were clean.

Fantastic experience: Great place. Parents can sit and eat in the waiting area till kids finish the swimming or the gymnastics class. Toilets are clean. There is a play area for toddlers as well. By 3.5pounds for one hour is a high rate. The cafe inside serves good and refreshing coffee and tea as per the customers choice

Positive experience: I attended for a swim as an adult in the evening. Friendly & helpful staff, the clean swimming pool was adequate but not the biggest but has regular lane swimming for all abilities. The music was a bit irritating (own opinion) Mixed showers & changing facilities with private booths. Secure lockers when you bring your own lock. There are a few £1 coin operated lockers but not many. Parking is limited but free. Depending on time of visit there is 2hr free on street parking. I managed to get a spot on the street, however during the day I would imagine on street parking would be busy. For an adult swim it cost approximately £4.60.

Positive experience: There are 3 separate pools. We went for a pool party and they had a small inflatable slide. Changing rooms where clean and spacious. Majority of the staff was not helpful. And the room in which the party was, was basic for e.g. tables and chairs. Unable to enter the room beforehand to set up.

Positive experience: Had a pool party and the party room. All great. The kitchen area was not the best. Take your own knife if cutting a cake. Manager on the day was helpful

Positive experience: Regularly go gym there now. Swimming is nice too. Not going to lie though, unisex changing costs it the 5 star, after gym and swim I kinda wanna get a proper strip off of kit, shower myself clean and walk out in fresh clothes, smelling fresh, feeling good after exercise. Because there is no appropriate privacy... you can't do that. I'm all for inclusion, but this isn't the way to deliver it.

Fantastic experience: Parking is easy enough, facilities, gym, keep fit and swimming etc, are modern, clean and pretty well staffed. The cafe sells decent coffee abd tea, with great slushes for the kids. The pool area is easily viewed from the cafe, with the option of a seated gallery. Theres a great play area for younger kids, and several rooms for parties, meetings etc. Good value local facility

Negative experience: Absolute joke of a centre. I can only make the late night swims which happen twice a week. I always check the pool timetable in the app before leaving to make sure it is on. However, I don’t know how many times I’ve turned up for them to tell me that the pool is shut because a club is using all the lanes or another reason. The app is never updated to let customers know issues like this. They seem to open and close the pool to whenever suits them. Will never be using Celtic leisure again

Positive experience: Good equipment there although once quite a while ago before lockdown they said their swimming pool were open online and actually there was a party going on and me and my 4 year old had got a taxi from neath as it was a sunday. I mentioned it to a girl who was working there and being inexperienced she panicked a bit, so I was treated quite abruptly by a member of staff, a bloke who's been working there since dinosaurs roamed the earth, young lady there was generous though and gave a free pass for gym for next time. Point is try and show empathy mate when a dad is struggling I wasn't having a go either just mentioned it for you guys feedback to maybe let people know online to save these inconveniences. Aren't customers aloud to express their views? Thanks and keep up the good work
