Fantastic experience: Adil has been absolutely amazing from the start! He gave me a thorough tour of the gym, and I instantly knew this was the right place for me. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and welcoming attitude made me feel comfortable right away. The gym itself is well-equipped, clean, and has a great atmosphere that encourages both beginners and seasoned athletes to push themselves. I was really impressed by how personalized and attentive Adil’s approach was – he took the time to answer all of my questions and made sure I understood everything I needed to get started. I’m excited to begin my fitness journey here and couldn’t have asked for a better first impression! :)

Positive experience: I'm an out of towner so take my review with a grain of salt but I would personally not choose this gym again. I visited once while in town visiting family. They were accommodating with a guest pass, and overall the customer service was good, but the facility itself was not so good. The floor and bathrooms were not the cleanest (saw a bandaid on the ground in the weight area). They only offer flimsy paper towel for cleaning the equipment; as a result no one seems to use it - I spent an hour there and did not see a single person wipe down equipment after using it. The free weights were completely out of order on the rack. The bodyweight cage is stuck in a corner with very little room. One piece of equipment had visibly dirty pads (dried sweat on them). One dude was repeatedly yelling while he lifted and the staff just ignored it. That's all on top of the fact that the place is quite small. The one thing I will say is that the class area was nice and open and usable as a kind of 'bonus space', and had some of it's own equipment.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of Snap Fitness, Oakwood for quite a few years now and I can honestly say the current management running the gym are gold star! Ali with his PT, Adil in particular is the kindest, most helpful person you could hope to have in a space like this. He is constantly checking in on a week to week basis to see if there is anything that he could do to improve my experience and he also runs a bunch of seriously good kick boxing and other hardcore classes. Also a massive shout out to Debbie Fleming who is my shero, who guides me through Circuits, Pilates, Yoga, Spin and gym sessions with a sunny smile and some seriously banging music. Not forgetting the best ever end of the week Stretch & Flex class on a Sunday morning with Mena who works her magic with some beautiful stretches accompanied by an excellent music playlist. Go check it out for yourself, you won’t be disappointed!!

Fantastic experience: I’ve recently joined SnapFitness in Oakwood having largely trained at home until now. The experience joining Snap was straight forward and the team saw to it that I immediately had access. Adil and Ali, along with the rest of their team, have created a down to earth environment which is not intimidating for new members. They are super friendly and have the customer at the heart to create a positive experience. They are always on hand for advise and guidance… ultimately a very professional team who are keen to hear how they can improve. Well done team, you’ve earned a new long term member!!

Negative experience: Decent gym with good up to date gym equipment and facilities. Unfortunately, if you are a Hussle or ClassPass user, don’t bother as you can only use the gym during manned hours. If it is manned and there is nobody at the reception area, you’ll have to wait around outside or hope a regular user with a keycard can let you in.

Fantastic experience: Rejoined recently after a year break. Staff really worked hard to make the jojjjng process easy. It feels so welcoming. Despite being a compact space it has all the kit you need. Great price if you pay up front too.

Negative experience: First impressions is it’s clean but small. A few problems Too many people ask “how long will you be” could never train properly and waiting for equipment meant it was pointless going. At the back young girls will constantly be hogging equipment, every morning they’d be there keeping everyone else off, I said to the staff I can never use this because they’re there all morning, nothing was said to them to move on. Anyway I left but when I joined I was told that first payment needs a credit card I thought that’s strange but I used a credit card and set up a direct debit. When I went to leave I emailed them, cancelled my direct debit when they took another payment the next month, over two months later I got a response saying your cancellation as taken effect and you have one more month left and one more payment. I replied saying no! I gave you notice three months ago. Then they took payment off my credit card which they kept on file for over eight months which with data protection laws is illegal. Rung the bank told them, they said it’s fraud and gave me the money back, I never gave them permission to use my credit card then it was escalated to the fraud department were it’s dealt with further. The gym is small a pointless, the fraud and having to give two months notice to leave is too much. Read Trustpilot and you’ll see lots of people with the same fraud problems relating to money being taken from different cards without permission

Fantastic experience: Having joined Snap Fitness a few months ago, the gym is fantastic. It’s never overly-busy with a lot of facilities are great. The classes, such as boxing, are fantastic and the staff members are always happy to help.

Negative experience: Rude staff, call them up and Adil squares up on you and demands money. Avoid.

Positive experience: Great staff, always clean and never feels too busy. Only issue is there is an awful lot of cardio equipment that is rarely used compared to a single Olympic rack and flat bench which are both used heavily.

Negative experience: No staff here over the last 3 weeks

Staff are greT, young and vibrant and make me want to go . Josh and new manager are fabulous. Let's hope these 2 stay as members like good people and engaging staff. Thanks. Positive experience: Friendly accomodating staff. Weights are usually where you expect, no going for a hunt for every plate you need like in some commercial gyms. Most members are respectful of equipment and other members. Can't complain, good gym. Edit: in the last few months the dumbbells are rarely next to one another. More often than not you have to find the second in the pair somewhere else on the rack. Might be due to the influx of newbies for the summer. Changing from 5 to 4 stars for the time being.

Negative experience: Unprofessional, and very unhelpful company, always putting down their customers into their extra costs and hidden payments when it comes to the subscription with the gym. I do not recommend to go and sign up!!!!

Negative experience: For anyone who is applying to snap fitness, be aware that there is a £35 cancellation fee if you wish to cancel for the next month. The advertised 'no contracts' is a lie as you are tied into paying for the next month.

Fantastic experience: I felt so safe there, lots of sanitiser available only problem was car park at back was full, even though only 3 people in gym when I went later in the evening. Enjoyed my workout, new member but so glad I switched from previous gym.

Negative experience: No problems with the actual gym. However after submitting a cancellation form as I'd had an accident and couldn't use the gym I was charged for 6 months despite calling repeatedly asking for my account to be closed. Eventually I received a refund but this was £30 short! Awful customer service.

Negative experience: Their website doesn't give any prices, and they have a mobile phone number that nobody ever answers. All sounds very dodgy, really. Are they even open still?

More like a family than a gym and Tammy, John, Emma, Jamie and Liam are the best set of PTs you could meet. For a fella whose lost 40kg and stopped smoking has diabetes in remission with the help of snap fitness Oakwood

Fantastic experience: Open 24/7 good range of equipment, helpful staff. Wide range of people use the gym so doesn't feel cliquey. Personally I wish they had a Watt bike but the Stages bikes will do for FTP testing. Mainly use rowing machine, weights and the Stages bike if I've not been cycling much.
