Fantastic experience: I recently visited the David Lloyd Club to explore membership options and was assisted by Georgie, who provided exceptional customer service. I was absolutely blown away by her professionalism, kindness, and dedication. Despite dealing with a leg issue and being in visible pain, Jorgia went above and beyond to ensure I had a thorough tour of the club. She climbed stairs and walked with me, making sure I could see and understand everything the club has to offer. Her positive attitude and commitment were truly inspiring! The entire staff at the David Lloyd Club is equally impressive. Everyone I interacted with was professional, cooperative, and welcoming. It’s clear that the club prioritizes hiring individuals who are not only skilled but also passionate about delivering top-notch customer service. Unfortunately, I’ll be relocating to the Midlands next month due to a job transfer. However, I look forward to returning to the club whenever I’m back in London. With such fantastic facilities and an outstanding team, David Lloyd Club is undoubtedly one of the best places to be. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Negative experience: Great Facilities, JUST A MASSIVE SHAME FOR THE STAFF!!!! From the receptionists who do not greet you or are unable to smile and just chuck you a towel, to the spa staff who are very rude, the club needs to invest into some customer service courses for their employees.

Fantastic experience: We attended the Christmas market held at the Raynes Park Club a couple of Fridays ago. it was very atmospheric with the stalls cheerfully decked out and Christmas music playing. There was a good variety of stalls with my friends purchasing some gifts. I would thoroughly recommend visiting next year. Well done to Rebecca for organising and arranging something different and raising the profile of the club,

Negative experience: Waited 10 mins for a towel while receptionist chatting on phone. She dud t even apologise and was aware I was waiting

Negative experience: The reception staff have so little knowledge. They can hardly answer questions and if they do, the answers are usually wrong. Often you are not greeted at all, just given a towel. For the money you pay every month, you expect a lot more!

Positive experience: They have a nice new coworking area, great play areas for children, but food and service is terrible. The sport side of the gym is great (tennis courts, etc. are awesome)! Really good outside swimming pool.

Negative experience: If you are a single childless business professional don't be fooled into thinking this is a good gym option. It will set you back £229 pp as the discounts only apply to 2+ persons. In addition it will be impossible to get into any class other than spin (aqua aerobics, body pump and pilates free slots are liking trying to find a unicorn), the spa facilities will be rammed shoulder to shoulder and Friday to Sunday is overrun with children (albeit understandably). Even the business centre which held so much promise is overrun with minimal desk space (came on a Friday, and absolutely no space) and 1 hour limits on quiet booths making it a waste of time for a busy professional who has more than 1 meeting in 1 day. There seems to be no remedy to fix any of the access issues other than an 'oh well' attitude by staff. As someone who is a local to the area I'm disappointed that more thought hasn't been put into catering for a wider range of people with varying needs - a one size fits all just doesn't fly.

Fantastic experience: Georgie was very helpful on the phone and was great at answering all the questions that I had. She was also very quick at sending over the requested email that I had been waiting a couple of days for from one of her other colleagues. Great service and very knowledgeable!

Fantastic experience: Orlando is such an amazing PT! He always brings so much energy into his classes. Every class he does is different and exciting. I love doing classes with him. He also makes you feel so welcomed, as a new member of the gym he always made me feel welcomed and accepted. Would definitely recommend going to his classes

Fantastic experience: Georgie showed my partner and i around the Raynes Park club. "wow" is the only word i can use to describe the facilities. Georgie was super helpful with answering any questions and gave us a very thorough tour of club. Couldn't recommend enough!

Fantastic experience: Been a member for almost three years now since it was refurbished and the gym, spa and tennis facilities are very good. A variety of classes come with my membership although the club seems to have difficulty keeping hold of some very good Pilates Reformer instructors. Maintenance can be a little hit and miss too with showers often broken and missing soap, which is poor given the price of membership. Special mention must go to Tonja and James who have really helped me with injury rehab as personal trainer and sports masseuse respectively. Tonja in particular is an extremely experienced trainer, very observant and keeps herself constantly updated across a variety of activities including weight training, tai-chi, Pilates etc.

Fantastic experience: I would just like to say being new to the club, Nicole the duty manager has been such a great help , always providing me information and with such a smiley, welcoming nature about her , making me feel really happy with the choice I made to move over to this gym.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been training with Ugne for the past 1.5 years, and I couldn’t be happier with the progress I’ve made. She’s an exceptional PT – knowledgeable, supportive, and always encouraging me to improve. Every session is challenging yet enjoyable, and her personalised approach keeps me motivated and on track with my goals. If you’re looking for a trainer who genuinely cares about you want to achieve, I highly recommend Ugne!

Fantastic experience: Just had the best experience in the spa at Raynes. Adil is such a wonderful wonderful boy always helpful and makes me and everyone in the spa feel cared for. He is so polite and professional and does the team proud I’m sure. I once had a bad experience at the club but after speaking with him, he calmed me down and made me feel comfortable to return to the spa and continue to use its facilities. Everyone is lovely at Raynes but Adil is a super star.

Fantastic experience: We joined recently and are are very happy with everything. Stacey welcomed us with a big smile and took us around. She is very knowledgeable and pays attention to detail. She explained everything and answered all of our question and made us welcome from the first second we entered the club. We already got our first PT sessions sorted plus a welcome facial! The actual facilities are super nice and just what we needed. An excellent start!

Negative experience: I’ve been a member of David Lloyd gyms for a while now, but unfortunately, my experience has been far from positive. While the facilities initially appear premium, the ongoing issues with cost, customer service, and declining benefits make it hard to justify the membership. Expensive membership with steep annual price hikes: The cost of membership is exorbitant, and to make matters worse, the price increases significantly every year. This is frustrating, especially since the benefits seem to diminish over time rather than improve. It feels like members are being milked for every penny without seeing any real value in return. Unless you’re going several times a week, it’s hard to feel like you’re getting your money’s worth. Poor customer service: The customer service at David Lloyd gyms is shockingly bad. The membership team seems indifferent, often coming across as arrogant and dismissive of members' concerns. They enforce rigid, unreasonable contracts with a three-month notice period, making it nearly impossible to leave without a headache. The lack of flexibility or understanding is disappointing, especially for a premium-priced service. Declining membership benefits: David Lloyd seems to be stripping away the perks that once made the membership attractive. Guest passes, for example, used to be more generous, with three passes every three months. Now, it’s just one per month. Pausing your membership, which used to be a practical option, now costs 75% of the monthly fee. Their reasoning about waitlists seems dubious, especially given the constant advertising and promotions for new members. Overcrowded and dirty facilities: Despite the hefty fees, the facilities are often overcrowded, and cleanliness standards can slip. Finding an available tennis court is a nightmare, and popular classes areas like the spa, pools, the holistic studio and gym equipment can be impossible to get in during peak times. David Lloyd gyms may have premium branding, but the actual experience doesn’t align with the high costs. Between the poor customer service, eroding benefits, and lack of care for loyal members, it’s hard to recommend this gym unless you’re an avid user willing to overlook these frustrations. For the price they charge, members deserve much better service and value. Unless significant changes are made, it’s just not worth the investment.

Fantastic experience: Naomi, manager of the crèche, has gone above and beyond to make sure my children are well taken care of. Their team goes the extra mile and with a child that is immunocompromised- this means the world.

Positive experience: Was shown around by Stacey today who was really kind and chatty. All the staff super welcoming and the space is incredible. Really modern and clean facilities. Lots to do here.

Fantastic experience: Just finished a tour of the club with Hannah. Hannah’s approach was totally on point for us. Being that we aren’t a very active family, but looking for a family friendly package, Hannah explained the classes, facilities and use of kids club very well. My son is very shy and we were very grateful for her to ask questions and include him in conversations during the tour. We were very impressed by her professionalism and knowledge of the benefits of all of the facilities!

Fantastic experience: I joined this club just before the arrival of my youngest to help me back to fitness and provide somewhere we can spend time as a family as well as for me to get some valuable headspace. During my mat leave, the crèche has been invaluable in providing me with some ‘me time’ - I’ve been making use of it since our baby was 3months and the staff (especially Lou!) are great with him, so I can feel assured he’s in good hands and enjoy my workout.

Fantastic experience: Oskar went above and beyond to help me retrieve a shoe that had got fallen behind the lockers. I honestly thought it was mission impossible but he made it happen! The atmosphere set by the staff from the moment you walk in not to mention Hazel sets a warm vibe for a great gym and spa experience.

Fantastic experience: We have a family membership here and it’s one of the best things we have done as a family. The facilities are fantastic but for me the stand out team is the creche team. I can fully relax in the gym, a class or the spa knowing my baby is well cared for. In particular, Naomi, Katie and Lou who have been amazing to all three of my children when they have attended the creche. They are so brilliant with the children, doing lovely activities and tapping into the individual child’s interests. Having this team at the gym means I am able to keep renewing our membership. Happy children= happy parents

Fantastic experience: I just thought I’d leave a review for Lee on the gym floor. He’s always given me top advice on all my exercises whenever I’ve needed which has allowed me to feel more confident in the gym. Also, the new layout of the gym is great and it’s always tidy.

Negative experience: Sadly this gym has got much worse than it used to be. I've been a member for years, the price has gone up but quality has dropped down. 1. The gym is oversold, overcrowded and classes are overbooked. For example, I've been looking for a parking space for about 15 minutes today and missed my class. I decided to have a cup of coffee at least but I had to wait for more than 20 mins for it to be done. 2. The cafe deserves another bad review, in a few words: long waiting time, missing orders, dirty tables and burnt grilled chicken has become a norm here. 3. Constantly crying and screaming babies are everywhere, all the time. I understand it is a family friendly gym, however, it has become too much for adults. For example, there used to be an adult only area in the cafeteria but not anymore. Moreover, the last 2 yoga sessions were accompanied by loud babies' scream - NON-STOP! Later I was told at the reception, that they had added some kind of a special class for newborns. This class takes place right behind the wall from a room where adults have their yoga, pilates and other classes. Babies just cry and cry, and cry while adults are doing yoga and trying to find peace and balance. Well you won't find it at David Lloyd's yoga class for sure, neither cafe, nor swimming pool. I don't like to write bad public reviews, that is why I contacted DL customer support twice through the app but I have never got any response. Well, maybe DL's team will finally reply here.

Fantastic experience: Went to David Lloyd for a relaxing weekend. Adil in spa provided excellent service. Great depth of knowledge regarding the science behind the spa. His kindness made a great day that much better.

Fantastic experience: Our little Mia has been going to the Creche at David Lloyd Raynes Park for over a year now and we cannot fault it. Mia loves it there. She runs in excitedly and actively asks to go there every morning. The staff are totally wonderful, they do everything they can to make all the children feel welcome and cared for as well as reassuring the parents, putting everyone at ease. They are kind and considerate, warm, attentive, helpful and thoughtful. We have to give special thanks to Naomi, Katy and Lou who always go over and above what is expected. My only criticism is that the Creche is so fantastic and so popular that it’s sometimes hard to get a space. I wish Mia could spend more time there.

Fantastic experience: I joined DL Raynes Park in June, following a recent diagnosis of osteoarthritis, to add to my other mobility issues. All team members I’ve come into contact with have been amazing. My PT Ugne has helped me gain confidence using gym equipment and Annalisa with her stretch and mobility classes helping me to get on the floor. Most recently I have been attending Tonja’s stretch reformer classes and having 1-2-1 sessions with her has been amazing. My mobility is not the best and doing reformer Pilates is not something I imagined ever doing. I accept my mobility is never going to be great however with the sessions in reformer it’s at least helping me to retain muscle strength. Thank you Tonja, looking forward as ever to my next session and my triple classes with you Saturdays

Negative experience: Deeply Disappointed by David Lloyd Raynes Park’s Lack of Empathy After My 2-Year-Old Son’s Fractured Leg I’ve been a member of David Lloyd Raynes Park club and never anticipated needing to write a review like this. Unfortunately, my experience following a serious accident involving my 2-year-old son at the club has left me feeling utterly disappointed and let down by their response. On 1 October 2024, my son suffered a severe injury, fracturing both his tibia and fibula at the David Lloyd soft play area, which is advertised as a safe space for children. The accident has had a significant impact on our family, with my son in a full leg cast for at least 6 weeks. This has placed a huge financial and emotional burden on us, as we’ve had to cancel work commitments and make additional childcare arrangements. While accidents can happen, what truly shocked me was the club’s lack of empathy and support throughout this ordeal. Despite my son’s significant injury, the club’s response was minimal refusing any responsibility, underestimating the severity of the incident, and offering guest passes or PT vouchers—completely out of touch with the severity of the situation. I had expected the club, as my main point of contact, to show more understanding and to provide assistance. Instead, the approach has been impersonal and dismissive. In that soft play area, despite the height limit for children, there is no defined age limit. Older children also play in the confined area with the smaller kids, creating congestion. There is no supervision for the number of children allowed to play at the same time, which raises serious safety concerns. I’ve also been informed there was no CCTV in the area where the accident occurred, which only adds to my concerns about safety measures. The fact that reviewing x-rays or understanding the true gravity of the injury seemed beyond their scope further highlights a lack of preparedness in dealing with serious incidents. To add to my frustration, I’ve had to take matters into my own hands and assign a solicitor to manage this situation going forward. This is not the level of care or professionalism I expected from a premium club like David Lloyd. I feel compelled to share this experience to warn others. A family-friendly club should be better equipped to handle accidents involving children and show genuine empathy and responsibility when things go wrong. I will not be recommending David Lloyd to anyone moving forward, and I will continue to make my dissatisfaction known.

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of attending Tonja’s session this morning in the Myofascial Release Workshop, and it was incredibly beneficial. I have a number of structural issues, and the releases she guided us through in just the right areas shows the potential pathways for me to resolve or better manage other issues as well. I left the session feeling uplifted and alive. I’m so grateful to have had the chance to join her workshops and experience her expertise firsthand. High praise and many thanks to Tonja for her amazing work and dedication to helping members.

Fantastic experience: My husband, three month daughter and I recently had a tour around David Lloyd’s Raynes Park and we were so impressed. We were hosted by Stacey who was super helpful and informative of not only the wealth of activities the Club has to offer for my husband and me, but what it could mean having such a young baby and being able to fit in our fitness around being new parents (the crèche, baby and parent classes and onto children classes when she’s older). Stacey really sold the lifestyle to us - there was no reason we wouldn’t want to sign up! Can’t wait to start our membership and everything the Club has to offer!

Fantastic experience: Hannah took us around David Lloyd Raynes Park and we were really impressed with the facilities. She showed us all of the activities for children, timetable with lots of classes and activities for them and we went to see the crèche which was great. Hannah showed us the tennis facilities, there are both indoor and outdoor courts. We visited on a Saturday and expected it to feel busy but it is so spacious and there are so many different areas, that it didn’t feel like that at all. We visited the three pools, a spa half in and out pool, an outdoor pool and an indoor one. The place is really spacious and clean and we were impressed by the number of activities and classes for both kids and adults

Fantastic experience: Wonderful classes, and top quality instructors who do their best to offer options that suit your level, yet push you forward. In Pilates I’ve nothing but admiration for Tonya, Miriam, Annie and Helen. Belinda on Monday and Friday is the best way to start and end your week. It’s just a shame that the membership department at club level and Head Office, don’t come close to their standards. Wrote to them 2 months ago, still no acknowledgement nor correspondence in response to my query. Any surprise they score 1 out of 5 on the Resolve website! Enjoying the club, sadly customer service need a wake up call !!

Fantastic experience: We've been members for about 3 months now and we're loving it. Charlotte was absolutely amazing in our first visit to the club, we walked out of it with a membership. She did an amazing job explaining everything to us and showing us how we could make the most out of it. Our little one is swimming, doing tennis, enjoying the play sessions, and we also finally started working out.

Fantastic experience: I would really like to mention the staff at the crèche at DL Raynes Park. Not only are they all lovely but the environment is a professional setting for the children, it’s a really valuable facility which the kids love!

Negative experience: Great facilities, staff are friendly but what’s the point if it’s constantly overly packed. Gym floor is over crowded even during off peak times. On top of that some of the members who attend the gym have made it an unsafe environment. Won’t be going back.

Fantastic experience: Stacey the sales manager was super helpful is showing me round the club, getting me signed up and started. Clubs facilities are incredible and they cover all bases for the full family. Would highly recommend speaking to Stacey if your thinking of joining.

Enormous gym with the amazing EGYM that I so enjoy using regularly to up my fitness for my tennis. Well on the subject of TENNIS! Well this club have fabulous courts; 12 indoor and 6 outdoors (4 covered under bubbles during the winter season) great fully accredited coaches, especially Ollie Brown, who provides technical tailored privates sessions, (fantastic with newbies too) group sessions and club clinics whatever your level maybe to boost your confidence to enjoy your game. He’s exceptionally skilled, personable and professional. Other racket facilities include Padel (3 outdoor courts) badminton and pickleball. Wonderful studio classes; I’m a fan of Pilates Reformer. There’s the uber cool relaxing Spa/Spa Garden with an array of Steam/Sauna rooms with a haven to relax and unwind etc etc, indoor / outdoor pools. Great Club Room with super friendly front of house team and of course the smart cool newly added Work-hub for those who need to step back into work. Feel very lucky to be a member here, as well as feeling healthy, it’s extremely social too!

Fantastic experience: I am truly thrilled with David Lloyd, and in particular, with the creche. The care my twins have received over the past year has been nothing short of fantastic. From the moment we arrive, they are so excited to go in that they practically run to the door on their own! It’s such a relief to see them so happy and eager to start their day. The joy continues at pickup time, where they are always smiling and clearly having had a great time. The creche has been an absolute lifesaver for me, giving me precious time to focus on my own fitness goals and enjoy some tennis, knowing my kids are in such good hands. A special shoutout to Naomi and her amazing team—they’ve done an exceptional job in not only caring for my twins but also in preparing them for nursery. Their dedication and warmth are evident, and I couldn’t be more grateful for their support.

Fantastic experience: The crèche here is fantastic - my daughter has been going since she was 3 months old. Each time she is greeted by the loveliest, friendliest staff. There is a huge array of toys and sensory areas for the babies. I feel so comfortable leaving my baby here - I can really relax and enjoy the gym and spa knowing my baby is in such brilliant hands

Fantastic experience: Our Daughter Mia has been going to the creche regularly at David Lloyd Raynes Park for over a year now. I really cannot fault our experience with them and the team of wonderful girls who work there. They are so lovely with the little ones. Patient, kind and thoughtful, they are always there to provide support for anything we’ve needed. Whether it’s advice, reassurance or help with potty training the girls bend over backwards to look out for children and parents alike. We’ve seen our little Mia grow in confidence and social skills. She is a super happy, strong little lady and we owe so much of that to her experiences at the Creche. Having the Creche at David Lloyd has been such a fantastic benefit to the membership. It’s meant that we can have a couple of hours to ourselves trusting that Mia is in a safe and nurturing environment with fun, friends and great team of lady’s that care for her the way we would. Can’t thank the team enough for all they do for us and Mia.

Fantastic experience: Excellent small group coaching from Ollie Brown. Enjoyable drills, practicing common doubles situations and improving all of the baseline and net strokes. Good fun too!

Fantastic experience: I took a trip to David Lloyds last week and I am amazed. The spa was fantastic and the staff were very much helpful. Especially a young lad called Adil I think his name was he was a very kind gentleman who seemed very enthusiastic to assist me when i needed. 10/10 I will be coming back soon!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been to many David Lloyd branches, but this one is by far the best. The facilities are top-notch, well-maintained, and cater to all of my fitness needs. However, what truly sets this branch apart is the incredible staff, who consistently go above and beyond to ensure a positive experience for all members. One staff member, in particular, Adil, has made a significant impression on me. From the moment I joined, Adil has been exceptionally welcoming, professional, and attentive. He has a genuine passion for helping members achieve their fitness goals and always takes the time to offer personalized advice and support. Whether it’s answering questions, providing guidance, or simply offering a friendly smile, Adil’s dedication to his work is evident in every interaction.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic club. Cherry on the top is the manner of the staff and to be more precise it’s Adil who has been amazing. Really happy with the assistance and attention I have received from him. Will be a more frequent visitor for sure!

Fantastic experience: Really enjoyed my recent visit to David Lloyd's. My kids and I went for a swim and l used the spa whilst they played badminton, excellent customer service from Adil. Will definitely look to go again!

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing time at David Lloyd Raynes Park. The lovely Miriam at reception was very helpful and attentive, she kindly directed me to the SPA section where I spent most of my time. In that area another staff member - Will - clarified my queries in regards to the sauna rooms! It was a very relaxing time, with great customer service.

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of being a guest recently and enjoyed a tasty healthy and nutritious meal in the lounge/restaurant area, as well as use of the amazing spa facilities. Staff are very friendly and helpful, special mention to the Duty Manager Louise and also Leah who I felt went over and above to assist me on my visit and made me feel very welcome. Whilst there I found it to be a very friendly comfortable environment, staff are friendly, professional and always ready to help in anyway. I Found everything clean and tidy, from the lounge area, changing rooms to the spa facilities, nothing out of place and all felt very luxurious.

Fantastic experience: My son had a great tennis class today with coach Ollie and coach Andy, he had definitely improved his game and also had good fun. We’re looking forward to next week!

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience, staff are lovely in particular Mariam. She was very helpful and provides the kind of A class service I look out for. Will was also a stand out member of staff giving guidance on how to go about my first time in s SPA. 10/10 would come back again.

Fantastic experience: Pilates Reformer class with Tonja is amazing and I would recommend it to everyone! Tonja is a great high energy instructor. I always feel safe at her classes and can see the improvement.

Fantastic experience: I joined a few months ago and am slowly discovering the joys of this club, but my most recent find was Tonja Hussein, a Reformer Pilates instructor. I did the taster session with Tonja which spurred me onto having a one to one which was thoroughly enjoyable and informative. Looking forward to seeing the benefits of the classes.

Fantastic experience: Had an absolute pleasure all thanks to the amazing staff who were on-hand to make it a great experience. Mariam in particular was very helpful and answered the many (many) questions I had. I also received great tips from Will in the spa, and having never used a spa before I appreciated the guidance.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely one of the best gyms I’ve ever been to date. The recent upgrade to this facility made it unrecognisable. What made today’s experience even better is the customer service provided by Mariam and Will, they went above and beyond to accommodate circumstances and answer any queries. The professionalism and dedication of Mariam and Will is really something you don’t come across too often nowadays so thank you to you both for making today’s visit special.
