Bodytech Gym

Positive experience: A well equipped gym with some great machines and lots of area to work out. A full range of free weights and cardio machines as well as the usual TRX etc. The only drawback, and the reason for the 4 stars, is that this gym is sometimes unmanned (which you are warned about when you sign up) although it does have cctv and the entry system is secure, so I did feel safe there. The brothers who run this gym are both dedicated fitness professionals, both are well qualified and there is a pt program available should you need it.

Negative experience: This place is pretty miserable. During winter, the place is so cold your breath is steaming and the weights are so cold you can’t use them without gloves. In sumner I am told by other users that it’s an oven. There is horrible radio blaring over the speakers with no way of turning it off and it has been full of paint fumes. When I contacted about all of this, I was ghosted after a lame excuse. If you want the gym to be a nice experience, do go here.

Fantastic experience: Well equipped gym with a really great energy, John and Rich make you feel welcome and know what they’re doing. I do PT with John and it’s great, he’s teaching me what I need to do and building my confidence in the gym. I completely recommend!

Fantastic experience: I love this gym! I am always greeted with the smiles of the owners, very warm welcome each time I come in.They are both there to give you advice and support. Plenty of free parking space! From the car straight through the door to the gym-very comfortable especially when it is raining outside. It is always clean spacious and with all equipment you need for your personal preferences. This is the third gym I am attending and so far the best! I just regret I did not find it earlier.Well done guys! Thank you

Negative experience: OVERCHARGED and they never bothered with an induction - rang and have emailed umpteen times since being overcharged on my direct debit, having said they would charge me one rate then charging me a tenner extra. Awful customer service.

Fantastic experience: I was recommended this gym by a family member. The training facilities are good, plenty of aquipment to use and friendly staff. I recently started to have P.T with one of the owners. He is great at what he does and they know their stuff. They push you in all the right directions. Membership is a decent price. Absolutely recommend coming here. Best gym I have been to.

Fantastic experience: Well equipped gym. Fantastic place to train. The owners are there on hand when you need them or have any questions. A relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Always clean even the shower facilities. Would highly recommend Bodytech gym to anyone.

Negative experience: Worst gym ever - Just asked around Bradford on Avon before you join . Had the worst experience ever. The 2 brothers that own it are thieves.

Negative experience: Terrible staff. Talked me into a three month membership but haven't even had induction and they haven't stopped chasing me for money to the point of haressment. Would never use this gym after they way they have treated me.

Fantastic experience: Excellent facilities, recently renovated and includes a wide variety of professional equipment for both cardio and weight training work. Friendly, unintimidating atmosphere suitable for both gym freaks and casuals (like me) alike. Richard and Jon also provide excellent tuition to tailor your workout to your personal goals and expectations, the induction I received was very helpful in shaping my attitude (overexertion and extended recuperation is less effective than shorter, regular intervals). The opening hours in particular are very flexible, and parking is easy and secure. Thoroughly recommended.

Positive experience: The guys at Bodytech are very friendly and good instructors. Its a good functional fitness gym with a good atmoshere. Cheers guys.

Negative experience: Unprofessional, small, with very little guidance. Will say one thing and mean another to make you happy so they can continue overcharging you and taking your hard earned cash. They do have facilities such as a shower and changing room which you would think come as standard in most gyms but these can sometimes be inaccessible due to the owners using them to charge people for massages. overall not very pleased with the level of service I have been given and will not be renewing my membership, I would rather drive the extra 5 miles to go to the better equipped, cheaper gym.

Fantastic experience: Gym and fitness centre, with classes in kick boxing, cardio kick, stability ball, yoga as well as massage therapy room. Caters for people of all fitness levels for both men and women. Relaxed atmosphere with a great membership. My favourite place to train. Under refurbishment and will include sauna & solarium shortly.
