Positive experience: Have used the facilities regularly for the last 30 years.

Positive experience: Nice to have new sports dome with various equipment, however you have to get changed in the old building across the road and walk over. Not great when it's raining. Also most of the men's lockers don't work and no lockers (except open bag storage) in the sports dome. Old building needs a revamp.

Fantastic experience: Have enjoyed the access to gym and swimming pool. Good facilities and good staff. I'd like to give a special shout out to Jason Spencer who was kind enough to help me with my posture and a couple of alternative techniques. Really helpful and really knowledgeable. Top man.

Positive experience: Visited the sports cage, separate building to the main sports centre. Has it's own small car park and easy access to the top and lower floors. Supported the Wales junior national basketball competition which was great fun to watch.

Negative experience: The changing rooms are not checked regularly, on several occasions at different times of the day the womens changing roons have been used and found the floor was filthy and as for the showers you can only describe them as somewhat of a health hazard. The drains absolutely stink of what can only be described as a sewage type smell. Instead of money being spent on a "dome" surely it would have been preferable to clean up and modernise inside the main building before attempting another project...

Positive experience: Has a pool area with a sauna which is fantastic. Equipment is all you need. Separate rooms. My only critique is that if you’re looking for a gym that has low attendance during noon this isn’t the one. The only time to come if you want a personal quiet workout with very little people then coming early morning is the best time.

Fantastic experience: Here for a few days on business, needed a gym with day passes. So helpful on the phone and really good value £4 for gym, pool was even less. Really good selection of cardio, free weights and machines in 4 rooms. Space for stretching or core work. Definitely be back, thanks guys

Fantastic experience: Used the climbing wall here. Very reasonably priced and friendly staff. The climbing wall is small but has over 90 separate problems ranging from grade 3 to ~7B, and a fun circuit too. There's lots of climbs for all abilities here.

Positive experience: Good place just need a bit more professional staff, as they aren’t always helpful. For example I asked a staff to teach me how to use some of the machines and she was lazy to do so. She suggested I go to the free spaces and do regular exercises without using machines and recommended that it’s more effective than using the machines. But sorry why am I paying a membership if I don’t get to use the machines? I can do exercises at home I don’t need to pay to use their space. I was completely respectful and just continued exercising but I don’t feel confident going there again as I’m not sure if I need any help and advice they would do so. Leisure centre gym staff seems to be more helpful they would come and show you exactly how to use any machine and how to position yourself as well.

Negative experience: There's a lady on reception who is quite rude, abrupt and unhelpful. Such a shame as the centre should be encouraging locals to use it more

Positive experience: Don't sell so many memberships if you don't have the capacity to allow your members in at any given time, especially when your booking system is broken (at least using Firefox browser). Or at least offer a discount since the access to the rooms is limited.

Fantastic experience: Sports centre kindly letting public use the pool whilst Aber's leisure centre has been repurposed as a C-19 hospital. Amazing value family session and numbers really restricted so all safe / luxury.

Negative experience: Phoned to enquire about swimming today, and was told no problem, our names taken, and given a time to turn up. On arrival entry refused because we were not members. If this could have been asked over the phone it wouldve saved us a wasted journey and wasted day.

Positive experience: Well equipped, got all you need. Huge verity in classes. Wish the pool was open earlier than 0715. Some grumpy staff but as I’ve previously worked in a gym I can hardly blame them.

Fantastic experience: Well organized, modern and furnished. Prices for the year really interesting: more or less 70 pounds.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic facilities - roomy gym with lots of machines, great spin bikes and the instructors and knowledgeable and ready to help! Lots of parking too. Only criticism is the pool - it would be great to have separate lanes for lap swimming, as a lot of people seem to just talk and not swim!

Fantastic experience: Well, if you want to attend on some group activities, refresh yourself in swimming pool, chill in sauna or go to gym and look like some greek god - Aberystwyth Sports Centre is a perfect place for you
