Fantastic experience: I only come in to use the showers when I'm in the area. ( at least once a week ) always clean and tidy showers and changing room. Large changing room with lots of lockers. 4 x showers have been boarded up and painted. Leaving only 4 showers to use. Which is Luke warm. The coldest in all the pure gyms i visit. I've never seen all the showers occupied at once. Staff always seem friendly and helpful. Free parking 24hrs.. lots of disabled bays right outside

Negative experience: PURE GYM LICHFIELD HAS DECIDED TO GIVE THE NEW EQUIPMENT A MISS. THEY'VE HAD THESE MACHINES SINCE DAY DOT! If you pop into a few of the newer gyms in Lichfield, you'll be in for a shock to the new tech machines and equipment's . They're still rocking the ancient shoulder press machine, which you can't tweak and could do a number on your shoulder. Quite a few folks have ended up nursing shoulder injuries. And there's that old abs machine lingering about, too

Fantastic experience: Great place to work out can be busy on certain times but every one gets on staff are great and very helpful see Dan a lot but noticed he is not on the site page if u want to get in touch and have him as your personal trainer but all in all great place to work out

Positive experience: The biggest issue for me is the layout . The classes should be upstairs . I have seen alot of people being asked to move from the sled push tracks in the middle of there sets to make space for a class to happen . It's hard to train when to instructors have 2 classes going and there battling over each other on there mics

Positive experience: The price of this gym has just increased to £27.99 pcm without multi_access to other gyms. It's £30.99 with Multi-access. Not sure what's special about this PureGym compared to others and why it's not included in the normal Multi-access. The equipment is the same ♀️

Negative experience: Went for one month, then switched to a local independent gym. A lot of classes are held right in the middle next to the free weights sections, and a lot of young kids sitting on machines rather than using them. Always busy and takes ages to get your routine done.

Positive experience: Overall an ok gym but it’s stood still since opening with no new kit or upgrades, no good leg kit such as hack squat machine or hip thrust machine for eg. Staff retention clearly an issue.

Negative experience: Was initially impressed until I walked in. A class was being run within inches of the door. Apparently PureGym stopped spinning classes within 18 months of opening this branch! The mezzanine would be good as a multi use area with spinning bikes, why the running machines are there wasting the space is beyond me. It seems no one want to put in effort in planning the space effectively. Why is the price so high for such a small unit and half the time the classes are cancelled, particularly on weekends when staff are too idle to get out of bed?? As time went on, found that there is a very high turnover of staff. There should be signs warning gym members of consequences of abusive behaviour towards staffs and fellow gym members - there is zero respectful behaviour at times and it's disgusting. Puregym should have opted for the larger unit, where the food warehouse is, and therefore the price they're charging would not seem so bad. The larger unit was empty for a good while. It just seems puregym are cheap when it comes to realistic spaces. This place is just poor. Poorly managed, no rules are enforced, not great for the good staff who put effort in and the price does not reflect good value without nearly enough classes. Received a mark on my membership for missing a class when in fact the trainers had us all waiting and did not bother turning up. There are hardly any classes being run. Again, why is the price so high?! This place has the 'lazy dregs' of all fitness trainers and anyone descent trainers will leave, not that I blame them. If this place was effectively managed, I'm sure it would be more enjoyable for the decent staff who occasionally work there and the gym users would have reliable staff who stay. I'd rather pay more for reliable service, staff and knowing that I won't receive a fine for parking outside the gym when I want to put a few hours in - that does happen a lot and it's mediocre when you're actually a paying customer.

Negative experience: Its a bismal for wifi and no one who works there cares about regular gym goers. Just their clients & themselves. Alright for a day session but HUGELY overpriced at 8.99. Monthly aint much better and frankly stupid when there's closer better small business gyms id give my money too.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely brilliant place early morning is perfect, the only downfall is I have been in twice where there were no antibacterial wipes available I go at 4:30 am so surely the cleaner should be filling these up.

Positive experience: Been a member since the day the gym opened and it is for the most part a great gym with big selection of free weights, functional equipment and cardio. However one of the main benefits of PureGym was the convenience of 24hrs opening. Now I understand in the current enviroment that is not possible and they have done alot of work to make sure the space is clean and safe to train. However the current opening hours are just not enough, epecially closing at 4pm 3 days a week! and on the other days closing at 8pm. Almost all other PureGyms are open now until 10pm most days except Sundays and I wish this one would follow those as I currently really can't use the gym when I am available. This is making me look elswhere as this is a premium priced PureGym that charges more than any others in the area. If the hours cannot be extened then the price should match that of the Birmingham or Walsall ones that are more than half the price.

Positive experience: Great gym but at the time I'm not getting much out of my membership. Opening hours are too slim. I come home from work and I have no time to go to the gym. The only time I can actually hit the gym is Saturday and Sunday which is not enough. These hours need to improve asap or I'm going to have to cancel the membership.

Negative experience: Not brilliant. - broken/ missing parts, Poor customer service... Opening times are awful at the moment due to covid but every other Gym that is "24 hours" has remained 24 hours with good cleanliness. Some equipment missing too - I assume it's broke and puregym cannot be bothered to replace despite taking full money and only being open less than half of their normal hours... Bit of a joke of a "leading chain".

It's really important that we keep our members and our staff safe and so to help us do this we have temporarily reduced our opening hours. This means we will always have a member of staff on hand and are able to complete a full deep clean of an evening. As soon as we can safely increase our hours we will do so and will update each gym page with the new opening hours. We know that being able to use our gyms 24/7 is really important for many of our members and we hope to be able to do so again soon. We have implemented a section to the website and the app which informs our members how many people are in the gym at that time and a graph to show the previous busyness of the gym on certain dates for comparison which we have found has really helped our members plan their workouts! This is the first time I have felt part of a community in a gym. The staff always say hello and someone is always on the gym floor to ask for advice. The Strength and Sweat classes are great, and sometimes the other Instructors and the Managers join in to make it more fun and motivational, and actually helps get to know the team better. The gym seems to have a different layout to my last PureGym as there is a big functional area with the Sled, Tryes and Skiergs which I've been shown how to use in the classes. I would recommend this gym if you are maybe new to training or you are looking to join a community, and feel part of something.

Positive experience: This looks promising, I'm selfish so wish there was a pool involved. But for just over £7.00 a day, (if you choose pay as you go), you get to take full advantage of all the classes, equipment, and to be fair, there's a lot at your disposal. I am a TRX beginner, and next in line for Bodypump, so can't wait to see whether this place offers the same benefits as where I currently go. I know the kit is there!. It's definitely worth it financially should it equal the classes and gym facilities, and having done my research it does seem to better one of my favourite places to hide. Just no pool!. You can't have it all, and if you just want to work hard, this sounds like the place for you!.

Fantastic experience: Great gym. Has everything you need. Abit restricted on hours at the moment but that's due to covid. Personal trainers on hand and always well staffed.
Negative experience: when you got Kids as trainers you're not going to get the Best of quality, at the End of the day you get what you pay for, The Gyms great pt's are only interested in helping the fit women, i sat there the other week watching a young lad using the machines wrong and the trainers flirting with the lady clientele. these trainers should be going round helping people who don't know what they are doing. when the pt;s don't have there own work to be doing i really think they should be going around showing the people how to work the machines

Positive experience: I love pure gym. I have a membership to all of the gyms across the country but mainly train across the West Midlands. This gym has all the equipment needed but it’s too small. Hopefully it requires some more floorspace once the membership grows.

Negative experience: This gym is new, so I thought I will give it a chance, and I have been waiting for improvements. Sadly, no improvements! Still terribly poor organised classes with unprofessional instructors- I have years of gym experience, and med.degree to make this statement. Classes are overbooked, so you constantly have to look around not to kick someone next to you, or not being kicked yourself. The mics that instructors have are s..t, so you hardly, or most of the time cannot hear the instructor at all! I am very disappointed I left my gym and joined this one, as after attending one of their classes, I have ended up with an injury due to rushed and unprofessional class.The gym management should think properly, as they can easily instead of being 'cashed', can have a lawsuit!!! If your aim is to get fit with use of classes, I wouldn't recommend it- high risk of injuries!!! if you need just the machines and pump-up area, then you would be fine.

All classes in the gym should have a checklist with a maximum number of people booked in prior to the class. If this is not the case then please let us know the classes you have attended along with dates and times so we may investigate. Staff should undertake regular volume checks for the safety and comfort of our members, but if you approach the Gym Manager with more info they can look into this. If you have more information the best way to pass it on for practical action is always to get in touch directly with the Gym Manager. You can approach them in the gym or leave a comment in the feedback box as this is regularly reviewed for updates and improvements. Fantastic experience: Great gym. Only recently opened so everything is new and fresh but the staff know their stuff and are very friendly.
Positive experience: Good equipment but not enough space to do floor exercises or workouts. The gym is great if you lift free weights or use resistance machines, but not if you want to join exercise classes. They don’t have separate private room for a studio to do classes in so you are watched by everyone else in the gym if you do a spin class or circuits.
