Fantastic experience: Very reasonably priced facilities which you can reduce if you take leisure card. This will then allow you in gym and facilities in Hunstanton too. No free car park so maybe look into this. Big adult pool and much warmer children’s pool still a decent size. It has a sauna and a steamer which I think makes it amazing value. The team are always very friendly and accommodating and the changing rooms are always very clean

Negative experience: First visit in about 15/20 years and not been updated. Very tired looking, not the cleanest and lack of baby changing facilities. Staff friendly enough but place needs a major renovation to be brought up to today's standards

Negative experience: Took my grandson swimming this morning, we arrived at opening time 8am Sunday. My grandson needed the toilet before we used the pool, the toilet cubicles were disgusting, the actual toilet was covered in dried on wee on the seat plus toilet roll all over the floor. They obviously hadn't been clean from the previous day, buy the way I cleaned them, you're welcome.

Negative experience: for a 45 min swim, I was charged £5.50. for that price I at least expect a clean cubicle to change in with hooks to hang my clothes! obviously they want you to join their leisure centre otherwise you pay ridiculous prices. This out of date and in need of renovation swimming centre needs to be realistic with the fees! £2 should be the going rate, in this old pool -and that's being generous!

Negative experience: Lifeguards don't have a clue allows your child who can swim confidently to swim in the deep end with he's parent for well over 1 hour swimming to the bottom of the pool etc then decide after all that time he's not allowed to upset child I get they have to do a job but do it properly and get him to swim length he needs to when he gets in not over an hour later. when he was asked he done it and could swim more but still told no we won't be returning makes no sense at all especially when he is with a parent I wouldn't allow him to go to the deep end if he can't swim.only gave extra star for the reception team when I told them they were very apologetic and couldn't understand why they done that

Positive experience: Very good , water and ambient temperature perfect. Everywhere is clean, attendants constantly going around squeegying surplus water. Ensuring safety for patrons as much as possible. Lifeguards very attentive. Lockers working properly, even though they only cost 20p, you don't get it back. Unlike other pools, when you unlock, you get the coin back elsewhere. Also, you have to pay to park,where elsewhere you give the pool reception your registration and don't pay for parking. So yesterday, an hour&half swim cost almost £8.

Fantastic experience: Amazing swimming pool! It's always very clean and tidy and I love the big pool and has you can swim in the lanes if you want or not. The little pool is nice and warm and, as you have probably guessed, is great for learning or less co fidget swimmers. Additionally, there's also other facilities on site such as a gym, vending machines, viewing area, shop for swim wear, bathrooms, etc. Also, multiple events are hosted throughout the year and I believe they have a weekly session in the pools with all the floaties out!

Negative experience: Pay £25 per month for membership, then parking is £1.80, and 20p non-refundable for lockers on top. Makes for an expensive hobby when going twice a week. The sauna and steam room are still closed which is disappointing, as most others are open now. Other than that, nice clean pools, but could perhaps do with some more shower cubicles.

Positive experience: The family and I always have a great time here. The pool could do with some investment and modernisation. The changing facilities are good. The waiting are is very good apart from the coffee machine. I bought an espresso but it tasted like it had no coffee in it at all. But skimpy on the flavour. Other than that, friendly staff, great location. Priced kind of high but as there's no time limit you can get your moneys worth. Good sauna. The big pool is huge and not often crowded. Would recommend. It was parking close by if needed and accessible features for the disabled.

Fantastic experience: Standard swimming pool 25m and smaller pool around 10m. Lots of lessons and sessions available. Clean.

Negative experience: Went to an adult swim and left as the pool was overcrowded with a swimmers of mixed ability meaning nobody had any space to swim. When I raised the issue to the staff they were apologetic but unhelpful saying they will allow up to 50 people in a half pool session. This is far too many to many to allow for an enjoyable swim. I will not be returning.

Fantastic experience: Headline | loads of reasonably priced activities available to book for kids of all ages this 6 weeks holiday I'm really pleased with St. James Pool atm, my kids have been doing swimming lessons there for 6 years now and really enjoy it, teachers are very compitant and experienced. They also do many events when the kids are off, so always check in when the kids are off, as there are always fun activities and reasonably priced for all pockets. They also do membership cards for discounts and concession cards for the less fortunate families and communities The cleanliness is always to a high standard, very well staffed when it comes to lifeguards and receptionists. They do tend to cash the tills up early when closing, so make sure you've got the right money if you want to buy snacks or lolly pops for the kids if you're there towards the evening. My two boys have swimming lessons and they really enjoy it, it gives them a chance to build their confidence in swimming and in life.
