Negative experience: As other reviews suggest, the managers of this public sector facility have chosen to hand their car park to a rapacious ANPR firm with a dysfunctional payment app who levy huge fines on visitors who overstay for a few minutes, pay too late, incorrectly enter a single digit of their car’s number plate, or break one of the endless petty rules they feel entitled to impose on customers who attempt to use the place. Fines are an extortionate £60 a pop, rising to £100 if you attempt to query the circumstances under which they feel entitled to demand cash from you. This in one of the most deprived corners of the UK during a cost-of-living crisis. There is a special place in Hell reserved for people who run the organisations that participate in this charade, not to mention the parking firms who profit from them…

Positive experience: Well kept grounds very disappointed to pay £5 to park our car, and £3 each to wach and support under 12s rugby torment. We paid £25 for 2 cars 5 adults to go and support our granddaughter. Not even runner-up received any acknowledgement such as certificate or medallion. A bad show.

Fantastic experience: I was recommended to go to this academy, so when I signed up it was a good offer so I can try some classes and the gym. I have been there 4 months now and it's brillant. The instructors are lovely, staff are very helpful.

Fantastic experience: Although our boys are all grown up, this was the place for Football Birthday parties... Bring your own food and drinks Cake ECT... They do have a cafe there and facilities for holding meetings ECT. These are on the upper level and they do have a lift. It is a very busy place as they have state of the art gym, indoor training facilities with a full size pitch. They also have Sports massages, Chiropractor and other amenities. Outside there are rugby/football pitches and cricket ground.

Fantastic experience: A great gym! Has excellent equipment and the staff are always happy to help and show you how to use anything there. Parking can be tricky at peak times but it’s almost never a big problem.

Positive experience: Staff helpful but cafe often closed when l go there about 5pm. When open, coffee lovely and they do a good bacon roll.
