Fantastic experience: First time to Excite Linlithgow. I was there to support my grandson and his team mates play football (6 - 1 to them) A very entertaining game and both teams played very well. Looking forward to their rematch later in the season.

Positive experience: Good facilities indoor and extensive outdoor pitches. Lots of parkingaking it very convenient

Negative experience: £22 for 2 toddlers 2 adults for an hr in the swimming as family we sped 30 min with a changing so actual time in the pool was 30 min. pool is ok, but there is very loud alarm going every 15 min it’s very stressful! We wont come back.

Fantastic experience: AMAZING SWIMMINGPOOL !! Friendly and helpful staff, Nice température of the water, The depth is child friendly, Warm shower, Fonctionnal lockers system (with a coin at the reception or 1£) and practicale changing room. Sauna et Hammam for the same price :)

Negative experience: Disgrace. . Son went here on a Sunday morning at 9.45 with 4 year old grandson. . . 2 people in pool and was refused entry as was booking only. .. No covid anymore so reasons for having to book ?!!!!!

Negative experience: Overall a lovely gym and venue but very disappointed by the customer service. Cancelled my membership due to moving house which is over 100 miles away, when we got our move date we were 1 day past the cut off point for the gyms 4 weeks notice. I got in touch and explained my situation that I’d be moving out of the area in 3 weeks time and unable to use the gym. They insisted that I still pay one more months payment of £76 for my joint membership, a cost that is less than ideal considering moving is already expensive to begin with. So I’m now paying for an extra months membership for a gym I can’t even use. I understand there is a contract to honor however, I spent around 6 years working in gyms and in my experience if someone is moving away, the gyms would always provide a little leeway considering the circumstances. Unfortunately Xcite were more interested in receiving £76 than they were in providing a good customer service…. Disappointing. The reason for my poor review is less to do with money and more the principal, it would have been easy for you to be accommodating but you simply chose not to be.

Negative experience: The staff in the cafe were not interested. Tables were filthy and the floor looked like a warzone. I understand that it can be a busy place with lots of kids, but that is no excuse. Disgusting.

Negative experience: I turned up with my autistic daughter today for the advertised pool session only to be told the pool was full, which It was not.! An older red haired woman at reception was rude and short with us. As you can imagine my daughter was inconsolable. This is unacceptable.! There needs to be a better system put in place, and might I recommend a replacement for that receptionist.!

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience at Linlithgow Xcite swimming with my children on Friday. My son is autistic and the gentleman lifeguard working that morning was fantastic and very observant, he kindly came over and asked if the alarm to sound time to come out the pool would cause any distress to him. I thought highly of his level of awareness and professionalism.

Positive experience: Great staff, great kids lessons. Good changing area, although small. Small pool, but again good for lessons' not really a leisure pool. Great cafe. Good choices of food and snacks available

Positive experience: Pool was great, clean tidy and front desk staff lovely, cafe staff need a rocket up there …… !! slow draining not interested, no enthusiasm, waited over 25 minutes between card payment to getting, it’s basic food order in a quite cafe!

Positive experience: The pool is great for kids. Not so much for any serious swimming sadly. Fortunately, there are also two saunas next to the pool.

Positive experience: Pool nice enough but very small and a tad cold, our 4 Yr old granddaughter was chittering. Soft play is £6 for an hour which isn't too bad but it's not big. Cafe staff are as enthusiastic as a wet weekend in Blackpool which is very off putting. I ordered chips for my granddaughter, waited 10 minutes (not a problem )but the weren't fresh or hot ( that was an issue)

Fantastic experience: Kids have relocated here for swimming lessons after Xcite closed Broxburn Pool. Lovely Cafe ( They do pizza !) clean changing rooms, friendly staff, ample parking and excellent connections to the National Cycle Route. Everything a modern Leisure Centre should be.

Positive experience: First time here, to watch a game of football. Did go inside to get a cup of coffee, but the cafe was closed (19-30) I believe it closes. Was going to use the coffee vending machine, but it is contactless payment only, so just got a cold drink instead out of another vending machine. Place is well maintained and is keep clean and tidy to a high standard. Staff are friendly and helpful. Pool looks very good, but never been in it. Plenty of parking spaces, and is easily enough to find. Would recommend to give it a visit.

All the reviews I’ve posted previously echoed these sentiments but today I must single out one individual member of staff - Kaid. Throughout my session in the gym, this young man never stayed still. He worked continuously with cares d attention to detail - most impressed

Negative experience: I took my disabled toddler to the ASN session on a Friday morning. Unfortunately it seemed fairly disorganised. The receptionist wasn't sure if we were allowed in at all, then we were only allowed into a tiny corner of the pool because swimming lessons were on at the same time, and within minutes of entering the staff asked us to leave the pool and wait at the side so they could arrange more life guards. I understand that safety is important and they have to follow procedures but the whole experience felt like we were intruding. I thought ASN sessions are supposed to help disabled customers feel welcome??

Fantastic experience: I took my grandchildren and their mum swimming and it was perfect! Lovely clean changing areas, plenty of clean well maintained lockers, clean shower area, the temperature of the pool water was perfect! A shallow splash pool for very young children, leads to another children's pool a bit deeper and this then leads to the bug pool...staff were so professional and maintain pool ph checks and cleaning constantly. The staff in reception gave us all the information needed and were so nice and friendly. I will be going back regularly. There is so much more to this place! We didn't eat in the snack area so can't say what its like. Overall...A+!

Positive experience: Recently revamped large gym. Generally quiet, so no hassles getting on with your workout. Staff carrying out cleaning most of the time I'm there, so always clean and tidy

Negative experience: Crowded and dirty everywhere, sand in the water , and cold water! what's the idea of leaving your shoes at the entrance to the building ???. tragedy. we will not go back there again

Negative experience: Lifeguard named ross made my kids and their friends uncomfortable with the constant staring - ross did not move his eyes away from anyone else but my kids - It was never clarified that the sessions where 50-60 minutes, and my kids paid full price for a session that only lasted 30 minutes! There was no confirmation that this session would be shorter than others. And so left with little to no money In their pockets for the rest of their fun day out! When my kids did the responsible thing and phoned up to complain, ross who was now working at the front desk was cold and uncaring (and a little bit rude) to them over the phone. When this was brought to the attention of the manager on shift (the blonde one) she was condescending and immature. Refunding less than half all the while telling them ‘they are sorry they felt that happened’. The staff in this place are not suitable for customer service. Get better staff.

Fantastic experience: My girls loved the Archery session and the instructor was very friendly and professional.

Fantastic experience: Took my 1 year old grandson for a swim today - cost for the baby £3.20. Advised if i lived in W Lothian it would be £1.regularly use Grangemouth pool - he is free there. In the current climate is it appropriate to chg babies with so many having to count the pennies . One of the desk staff said if i was a single mum on benefits it would be different - well i am not i am just a Granny taking her Grandson for a swim.

Fantastic experience: Went to swimming today here for first time. Was great. Good for our 4 year old as well. Have a kids splash area with slide as well. All staff we dealt with were very friendly and helpful. Cafe was good as well and reasonably priced. Will definitely return. 10/10

Fantastic experience: Outstanding gym with extremely helpful PTs, great swimming pool and, although they aren't open yet, the saunas are the cherry on the top. They have plenty of classes to attend all which are great for getting you in shape. I've been to several gyms and this one is my favourite!

Although i am really annoyed to have a lane swimming which i had booked for 14th october cancelled. Once again the regular customers are pushed out to accomodate kids being off school . Not good enough

Positive experience: Attend swimming classes for my child here. Fabulous teacher, and my child's swimming has come along amazingly as a result of that. Last time I went though, very strong smell of urine in the pool area.

Negative experience: Nice a good equipped gym. Quite lazy stuff, no equipment is very good quality, bad dirty, no chance for any help. If customers have got any questions need to wait in the queue sometime even 15 min. Swimming pool is very hot, no chance for swimming, is not organise properly. Average gym with useless staff.
