Fantastic experience: Brilliant! Really good equipment and classes are amazing! All instructors are really good!

Negative experience: Great gym. But music is so loud for no reason. And the classes are even louder, you can’t hear the music from the speakers or your own headphones as the PT using the mic is at full volume. Plus they got rid of the air con so now it’s super hot in the gym

Usually getting very busy after 5pm on the weekdays, but kinda less crowded on the weekend’s afternoons Most of the machines were replaced by new ones (somewhere in July/August) and they added couple of new ones It’s clean and people are really nice to each others. There are different classes for everyone, pilates are really good.

Positive experience: Not much equipment given the footfall when it is busy. It’s also unbearably hot which makes working out quite sluggish. Showers are abysmal. To be expected I guess from a cheap gym.

Negative experience: As with all budget gyms there is the usual amount of non-working equipment. However, the lack of working air conditioning in the summer is unacceptable.

Positive experience: It's PureGym, init? Full of teens and twenties. Limited staff. Some people avoid, I don't mind. Like McDonalds, but for gyms.

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym. I really like it. Compared with another PureGym this one is my favourite and amazing place. They have many machines and bigger spaces.

Fantastic experience: Good gym, exactly as you'd expect from a Puregym. Prefer this to the Kingston one as it feels bigger and more spaced out, staff seem friendly, and the PTs always seem to be having a good chat with their clients, which is nice to see. Can get busy but that's pretty normal, had never felt overwhelmingly busy and there's always equipment available to use.

Positive experience: Pure gym does get busy in the evenings and it takes a while to park up, so you have to allow more time for parking if you have a class. The gym is very well equipped, they have so many different types of equipment for working out different muscle groups. The classes are great, the instructors are friendly and push you.

Positive experience: Decent gym, lots of equipment However - ‘day’ passes are per calendar, not 24 hours - so if you go at night, you have to phone the emergency number in order to get out again. And there was a group of people filming wide angles with a whole tripod-camera set up which made me uncomfortable.

Positive experience: Spacious. Clean and there's guaranteed parking in the morning and during the weekends. Good showers. No towels.

Negative experience: Music too loud, wifi doesn't work & there are pubes in the shower. There is lots of equipment, but some of it is worn out & therefore unsafe. It's cheap though, but located in the middle of nowhere on an industrial estate.

Fantastic experience: Best gym in MK. Plenty of equipment (11 squat ranks downstairs!), and space (as the gym building is huge). They recently renovated the men's changing room showers so they are top notch now. Only £20 per month and the equipment is better than David Lloyd (~£200 per month).

Fantastic experience: Place is a great place to be. Good friendly staff and the people in the gym can see are highly motivated. Parking is good except the busiest times but their is always a spot free somewhere. The trainer who does the hula hoops is awesome. Cracking smile.

Fantastic experience: Great local gym with a sensibly priced membership which gives you access to other pure gyms locally and nationwide should you need to use them.. well equipped no contract which is awesome parking can be difficult during peak times but a good gym and facilities

Negative experience: If you want to plan your day around a shower after your gym session avoid this gym like the plague. They seem to think it’s okay to open and close the men’s changing rooms and showers on random days. Time to try the gym next door.

Positive experience: The gym is good enough for what it is, but they lack disability parking spaces and facilities, the toilets have been broken for over a month now and the manager doesn't seem to give a dam. Spends more time on her phone than taking care of the problems. Showers are dirty and toilets smell of urine and sewage. Not a pleasant thing to walk into.

Positive experience: Spacious gym, which is very clean. The only downside is that some of the bikes and rowing machines' straps broken.

Negative experience: Parking is a BIG PROBLEM! The gym is always full so there is no space or apparatus where to do ur exercises! AVOID !!!

Negative experience: If what you are looking for is a gym full of 13 -16 yrs olds running about drinking prime energy drinks, train in groups of a dozen or more. Look no further Pure gym Mk has you covered. All pure gyms in Milton Keynes are over run by minors with accident waiting to happen signs on their forehead. Good luck

Positive experience: One of the best puregyms.. but still a puregym Occasional gear head to be expected Unfortunately I have to remove a star due to the wannabe Indian influencers carrying a tripod around, nobody wants to see that or be in a video. Aside from this and powerlifters… very nice

Positive experience: Good do with a face lift and the decor seems a bit dire. However, we are there to work out and there is enough equipment for everyone.

Positive experience: Used to be a regular before the whole refurbishment, and wow what an upgrade! Very spacious and lots of room for dead lifting. The cycle class room looks a bit small. Women's changing room is the biggest I've seen. No hassle with parking, all free and lots of spaces. Would definitely go again!

Fantastic experience: It's a decent Gym, it's got everything you need.

Negative experience: I was a member of this gym a few years ago, and it was great! Now, not so much. I went on 5 different Cross trainers in order to find one which wasn't broken/resetting/on the wonk etc. Just not good enough. Money needs to be invested in new equipment to bring it up to standard.

Negative experience: Now this gym has a new Manager, I think this place will improve. I'll give it another chance in a month or two.

Fantastic experience: Became a member a week ago and zero regrets so far - it is nice, spacious and clean. The crowd is very diverse. Great for introverts.

Negative experience: Rough night at the gym if you suffer from hyperacusis. Yoga instructor had the volume up to glasto levels.

Positive experience: The only bad thing is showers need upgrading. Doors falling off, shower buttons leak and sometimes they are too hot to handle. Upgrade to showers like at Bletchley gym

Negative experience: In serious need of some money being spent on the equipment. All the cable machines feel awful. The new functional training area is a waste of space and don’t even bother at peak time. It’s carnage. Further update: the noise from the spin bike room makes the cable area right by the entrance unusable. Today 05/09 there were 2 people in the class yet the instructor could easily be heard outside the building. I had to leave halfway through as I couldn't stand it anymore. And there were no staff around to raise this to.

Fantastic experience: Spacious, well equipped, and very secure!

Positive experience: Well after nearly 4-5 years being away from PureGym n training at other gyms I restarted my membership with them again, at the off-peak option and I must say that I am well impressed with the facilities there, all equipments well maintained lots of space that have been put to good use and an adequate cardio section with possible CrossFit facility upstairs. My early morning routines will be hitting different for sure.

Fantastic experience: The fitness team are al friendly and welcoming. Nobody makes you feel awkward and there is enough equipment even during busy periods

Fantastic experience: This has become my regular gym, it’s spacious and clean! I was approached by a PT who worked there who offered me a few tips in how to get the best out of my exercise and as a novice, it was much appreciated!! Unfortunately didn’t catch his name but the staff I’ve had interactions with have been friendly and helpful.

Negative experience: This is the 3rd time in a row I have turned up for a class and no instructor comes. Why advertise sessions that you can't staff.. the atmosphere, cleanliness and availability of machines etc is faultless... just a shame about the classes.

Fantastic experience: A wonderful workout place, meets all my workout requirements with minimum possible Fee.

Positive experience: It’s a spacious gym, a lot of equipment and lockers. However the extremely loud music from the adjacent fitness space is so annoying that you can barely focus on the exercise you are trying to do. If someone likes clubbing then that’s for you.

Fantastic experience: Easy to sign up, nobody hassles you or tries to sell you on anything. There are a lot of options from machines to free weights and I've never had to wait for anything. I haven't tried a class yet, but I'm looking forward to it. Definitely worth the £10/ month.

Fantastic experience: So I signed up for this gym 3 days ago and going to a new gym us very hard for me to do. As soon as I walked in I was shocked to see how brilliant and clean it is. Very spacious and very clean. I have booked my first class so fingers crossed . Highly recommend using this gym and to be honest the price is decent. Also with this gym you can use all the equipment without having to wait. And it's also quite which I really like! Well done puregym!

Fantastic experience: I've been going here for a number of years now and think it is a great gym The price is good value and I originally joined for the fact it was no contract. I was impressed with their adaptations during Covid. I feel the price is a very good as it includes all the classes and parking outside. There is a good range of equipment. I don't tend to use the weights, but I have never had to wait for a single piece of equipment. In fact, there is a usually a space either side of me on treadmills/bikes etc. The changing facilities are clean. I sometimes shower before work here and found the showers to always been clean (no nasty hair balls), and always plenty of lockers. You need your own padlock and I would recommend a medium size one fyi. There are a really good range of classes. These seem to have fluctuated a lot over the past few years, although there was a global pandemic! When I originally joined (pre-Covid) , you often had to make sure you were booked well in advanced for a class. However, I think there are more classes now so there are always spare spaces. At present the classes include legs, bums and tums, spin, 'strength 45'- which is a bit like a bootcamp and circuit training like classes. The classes are run by the PTs and they are all really good. Particular personal favourites are Tatiana and Carolina Di Cienzo, but there a good mix of styles. Only tiny bit of feedback would be to list the equipment required for a class on the booking, because I never know whether I need a step, bar, which weights etc for all the different classes as they all vary slightly. Nevertheless, you can always ask the PT/copy others so it's not a major issue. Parking issues seem to go through phases. As with anything, it is more difficult to park in peak times, and off peak it is completely fine. However, even when it was at its busiest, I don't think I ever waited for more than 5 minutes to park as there is quite a big turnaround of people. The gym next door definitely has more spaces for its customers, and you can't park in their spaces, but I wouldn't say parking has been an issue for me in this gym. I was never historically a 'gym person' but have found PureGym is perfect to compliment my workouts as I can attend when I want, often to great classes! Staff and other customers are friendly, and I would highly recommend this place!

Positive experience: Good gym good atmosphere. Clean and tidy as well as having decent facilities

Positive experience: Joined and did my first spin class. Started 5 minutes late but also finished 5 minutes late. Guy who ran the class didn't even bother joining in for sections of it so if you miss an instruction there was no point in looking at him. Nearly total darkness, could not see the display on the bike at all. To see it I had to press s button which lit the display for a couple of seconds. The bike itself has a quarter turn on the dia resistance knob which went from easy to nearly impossible. I tried two bikes both the same. The place overall looks nice. All looks quite new.

The equipment is well maintained and all free weights are kept in the right places. Would reccomend this gym to anyone. Even at peak times you still can workout as there are so many machines and space a plenty.

Negative experience: JD gyms nextdoor is definitely better for the same price. The gym is too crowded and everything is in one big room. Not enough machines and always queuing

Positive experience: I like the gym overall. Few things could be improved. There's only one seated ab crunch machine only. There's no adjustable straight bars for barbell curl. The last one is the gents urinals don't smell nice most of the times. Hope it will be improved.

Positive experience: Plusses : 24/7 365., I like water refill in just 3£ a month extra. Quite nice atmosphere. Minuses: pretty bad equipment, some semi-broken. Some equipment is just not anough! I had to wait 20 mins for fly mashine, which is only 1 for whole gym.. Could be better! But its OK gym.

Fantastic experience: Really enjoyed using this gym. All of the treadmills are equipped with a usb port, so you can charge your phone. A lot of them have the aux-in port, and are connected to services like youtube, which is great to keep you distracted when doing cardio. I was pleased with the covid-19 measures implemented, where sanitation stations were placed in the gym, so that you can wipe your equipment before and after use. Definitely would recommend it!
