Negative experience: Myself and my partner have been looking for a nice spa to use when we have a day off together. We called up in advance to ask if we could pay just to use the spa facilities. The cost for us both was £60 which is far too much for what it is. We managed an hour before we left. The spa looks nothing like the photo it’s very dark and dirty. The tiles on the ceiling are pushed up and is no way as light as the photo shows. For a spa especially paying £60 I would expect loungers or somewhere comfy to relax by the pool. The chairs are just not comfy and look like garden furniture. The changing rooms and whole venue was just very grubby and dirty. I did contact the venue before posting the review to as I know we all have off days. I did not however receive a reply. Very disappointing!

Fantastic experience: First time in the spa centre, everything was amazing!!!! Starting from the reception point, the lady was very helpful, The sauna, jacuzzi and swimming pool are amazing!!!! I had a relaxing facial lux treatment with a blond lady (forgot the name, apologies!!!) was the best that I could have!! If I can give her 10 stars, I will do it ⭐ Everything was amazing, food, aswell!!!!! I recommend 100% for a relaxing day or for whole weekend!!!! Thank you!!!!

Negative experience: I’ve been here a few times since January, I’d normally go to the Royal Bath Hotel’s Spa Spindals, But they are having a 3 month refurbishment. It’s great that they have free parking, I really like the pool and jacuzzi, Wish there was more seating but that can’t be helped unless they bash a wall down!. Some minor tho they can do would make it such a better place. 1. The showers! It’s very annoying that I had to press a button every 10secs for water! Please fit a new shower where you can take it off with your hand and hold it! It makes it very hard to rinse private areas properly! Ive spoken to a lot of the regular ladies about this and they too hate the shower head straight above your head that is non-removable! 2. Spinner! All good spas have spinners! Ive seen in previous reviews that people have suggested it. Please install one!, They are inexpensive like the shower and make people’s lives a bit easier. ( Which makes them return more). 3. Ventilation, It gets extremely hot in the pool area, A Gentleman sat next to me by the pool said he was struggling to breathe properly because it was very stuffy. Maybe just turn your air conditioning unit up. 4. Cleanliness, You need to hire a full time cleaner, Normally the receptionist does it in most places but I think you have the beauticians running the spa desk. You would achieve more stars and customers for this. The Hilton Hotel spa is brand new and extremely clean and they only charge around £10 more a month than you currently do. People will always come back to a place that is very clean and has great showers! Thank you

Fantastic experience: I had visited Bournemouth for a short vacation and decided to treat myself for a spa. I had a full body massage. The masseur was very nice and confirmed details, my pain points before starting the massage. The massage was super relaxing and time just flew past. I wish I could have done more but it was end of the day and there was no time for other services. The ambience of the spa was very nice. There were also other facilities which I didn't have the time to enjoy as it was pouring that day. Definitely worth trying the spa!

Negative experience: Very disappointing experience unfortunately. I booked a day spa pass for £30 via email, arranged childcare and drove a long distance only to be told that the sauna has been out of order for a while. Would have been fair to tell me beforehand. My spa day birthday present was ruined. Update December 2023: The General Manager got in touch and invited me for another spa day. Sauna and steam room were both working and it was a very relaxing day. Fantastic customer service. Thank you!

Positive experience: A lovely spa ,haven't managed to enjoy a treatment yet but I use the pool ,jacuzzi ,steam room and sauna,which I recommend. There is one thing I really need to bring to attention ,which is more of a frustration than a problem in general , they don't have a spinner for the costume (which removes the excess water ) in the changing room . I am a regular swimming and I find that I am unable to have the choice to swim before work as I can't have soaking wet costume sitting in gym bag all day . With installating a spinner ,I'd use the facilities more and spend more , it's just a shame as these little touches make all the difference to the customer .

Fantastic experience: Myself and four friends did the gin infused experience which we booked via spadeals. The service was excellent, rooms were clean and spacious, great wifi. Our treatments were amazing (we all opted for the massage with the hot stone treatment). I used the gym, it was empty both times I went. The pool never felt busy, or the steam room and sauna. We did go on a Monday-Tuesday though. For everything you get (25 + 15 minute treatment, mini gift, £20 gin bar voucher - this is per room not per person fyi - chocolate truffles with a gin each and dinner/breakfast it was great value for money (£120)). We had dinner and breakfast there, all the food was really tasty. The gin bar has a great range of drinks too. After we checked out we were able to stay downstairs and use the spa facilities until 3pm too. I would definitely visit again.

Negative experience: Wir waren Hotelgäste und durften den Spa mitbenutzen. Leider war bereis die Herrenumkleide sehr verdreckt ( der Boden komplett nass, benutzte Taschentücher auf dem Boden), bereits dort fühlte ich mich nicht, wie man sie in einem SPA fühlen sollte. Im Poolbereich standen leider nur wenige Liegen zur verfügung ( Platzbedingt ). Die Luft im gesamten Spa wirkte etwas modrig. Das Wasser im Pool war recht trüb und der Boden im Schwimmbecken zudem deutlich verdreckt. Am Hinteren Beckenrand Rechts säumte Staub ohne Ende den Beckenrand ( richtige Wollknäuele ). Die Deckenplatten ( Styropor ) waren teilweise lose oder versetzt. Mir ist bewusst das es nicht immer zu 100% sauber sein kann, doch Aufgrund der Menge an Staub und Dreck im Pool, würde ich sagen, das es ein generelles Problem mit Sauberkeit in dem Spa gibt. Die Sauna habe ich mir nicht angesehen, ich hatte kein interesse, da der Pool schon so schmutzig war. Etwa 30 Minuten nach betreten, verließ ich das Spa schon wieder aufgrund der genannten Umstände. Es wäre wünschenswert das hier dringend mehr drauf geachtet wird, vielleicht können andere Gäste so ein schöneres Erlebnis haben. Mein einzig gutes Erlebnis war, das freundliche Personal.

Fantastic experience: Decided to come to this hotel as it was close to the town and has a gym and spa facilities. Had 2 fantastic treatments from Ifrah - a pedicure and a sports massage. Ifrah made me feel comfortable and at ease. I loved the pedicure which was my first one and thoroughly enjoyed my massage. I've had many massages as I work in the sports industry and I can honestly say that hers was by far the best. Will book in with her next time I'm.in Bournemouth. Thank you!
