PureGym Bletchley

Positive experience: Good value for money. Equipment works and they try to clean the toilets reasonably. My problem is that the carpets smell so bad the moment you enter that place and it triggers my allergies. I stopped going because of the carpet smell. Also seems understaffed (maybe even no staff because I haven’t seen any) on non regular hours ‍♀️

Positive experience: It's a good gym that I can't rate higher than 4*. The facilities are high, there are 2 floors and much stuff always making sure you have something to do. The equipment also has instructions on them to help any new people. The other facilities are good. The lockers are working, and the showers and the locker room itself are always clean and spacious. The staff aren't really there and the place is more of a place to go to and hope there's people there. There's help places to go to but not very helpful if you can't get to them. Cancellations are the reason you can't get 5*. This company loves money more than anything. Cancellations are harder than going to the moon without any suit. You don't have to do any forms, but they are just resistant to do it, and you have to complete a mission to get the 1st step done. Overall, it is impossible. I recommend going to this gym as a one-off, but don't bother with a membership with Pure gym at all.

Positive experience: Pretty decent gym and the three month joiners offer is incredible value for money. Generally clean and well provisioned gym with a good mix of machines and weights for everyone over 2 floors. There's no sauna or pool or anything like that but if gym is what you want, gym is what you get and it's pretty good.

Negative experience: The gym is good, staff are phenomenal people. But the price.. yeah, it’s too expensive. To have a normal membership & be able to go in when you want without time restrictions, you need to pay more. & the £10 joining fee feels like a punishment of sorts. -1 member of pure gym.

Negative experience: Gym like other gym, maybe not a lot of space but if you training before or after rush hours then will be good for you if you don't using cross area, in the morning staff doing there classes so you can't use that space , so if you looking gym to lift and don't expect a lot of space this is good , but if you go there and want to use other space , not only weights then you have to consider not always you will get access.

Fantastic experience: Staff are super chill and equipment is great. Open 24 hours so I can always go after doing a night shift!

Negative experience: I love pure gym......but had so many problems with my membership because I froze it due to injury and out of the blue I was getting a notification saying £39.99 was trying to be taken by pure gym because my membership was not frozen. So because of this and for them not sorting it I've stopped going. Shane as the staff are all amazing.

Fantastic experience: Awesome gym... 24hrs which is really handy and can fit around working hours. Always clean, very friendly always lots of lockers available

Fantastic experience: Fantastic classes especially enjoy Step with Estelle, Also recommend Estelle as a PT started with no gym knowledge and now a regular user thanks to Estelle.

Fantastic experience: Estelle's step class is one of the best classes I have done at the gym. I enjoy coming in on a Wednesday night and every other Saturday. Something anyone can do and pick up from pro to beginner.

Fantastic experience: Only been going to the gym since late January and it has already become part of me. Steadily increasing my stamina and progressing the gains The 1st photo is day 1 at the gym, 1.46miles after 23mins (not great), 2nd photo was 6 weeks later at 2.41miles after 35 mins (5mins was cool down)

Positive experience: Great gym. Very spacious, very clean and the staff are very pleasant and helpful. The equipment is in excellent condition. There's quite a good culture of ppl wiping down the machines after use.

Instructor very good and also love her commitment to it! Only suggestion is change the last song . The beats didn’t go or get us pumped. Maybe a commercial house track ? Thank you!! Sweat 45 - Mihai is a great instructor, highly recommend this class! Clear on instructions and has definitely helped me lose weight! Thank you so much! A great asset to this gym!

My personal fav is the lunchtime spin classes at Bletchley. Alex Fry and Stefan you guys absolutely rock those classes! Thanks a lot, you guys have played a part in helping me shift 4 stone!

Positive experience: A good all round 24/7 gym. Great parking , equipment is good. Could be bigger and more varied equipment like boxing/punch bags area and resistant machines like in other gyms but space restricts that i'm guessing.

Fantastic experience: It's a great place to work out..equipment is top class.plenty to work on..u spent my first time work out in 40 years spent 3 hours having so much fun doing proper exercise..and detox my muscles after..lockers and showers clean.people do help each other.nice people too respect others..I plan to use every other day ...I'm a happy person.

Positive experience: Love this gym, can get busy at times though, but the app helps see when it is less busy. Some machines are very close together and it seems like it needs a rejiggle to optimise space. The app is very well thought out and works well. I paid for unlimited vitamin drinks, but I can only get one per visit it seems too. The cleaning sprays and paper appear to run out frequently and the vending machines have never worked when I've tried purchasing anything from them. If these small things would be improved it would easily be 5 stars.

Negative experience: I can never warm up with the running machines because none of them ever work and haven’t worked for weeks, paying full membership for half of a gym.

Positive experience: Standard Pure gym. Not so big, but has all you need. Can get extremely busy.

Negative experience: Clean and tidy but very small and lack of equipment. Plenty for free weights and bench’s but not legs. Avoid if your doing a leg day

Negative experience: 80% of time gym don’t have hot water! Rubbish…

Positive experience: Wide choice regarding equipment to use, flexible time wise and can be self directed if one prefers to be left alone 100% however, support is also available anytime when needed.

Negative experience: Decent gym, not a lot space or equipment so do check how many people are there before you go.

Positive experience: Palestra moderna, pulita e molto atrezzata. Non troppo affollata. L'assenza del personale da l'impressione di stimolare il senso di responsabilità per la cura degli spazi comuni insito nei clienti, essendo l'area videosorvegliata a distanza. Modern, clean and well equipped gym. Not too crowded. The absence of staff gives the impression of stimulating the sense of responsibility inherent in the customers for the care of the common areas, as the area is monitored remotely.

Fantastic experience: it's the best

Positive experience: Shower temp and the general condition of the room is awful. Music is like a rave.

Negative experience: For how long do you plan to leave your changing room and toilets closed?

Positive experience: Parts are late to arrive. The step machine has 3 months waiting for parts. One machine broken out of 2. Kingston gym is way better and cleaner.

Positive experience: Normally fairly quiet compared to Kingston , reasonably clean. But when classes are on they blast absurdly loud music you can hear through your headphones. Sounds like a rave crew has hired out the warehouse next door Very annoying

Positive experience: Showers are not so clean and waters always too Cold, Showers are not regularly cleaned

Positive experience: I get there early so I don't have to worry about the use of the equipment. They need more kit for the cable machines i.e. there's only one bar! The sports water machine is always broken. And some of the weights machines need their padding changed.

Positive experience: Great fun, plenty of space and machines. I was here for a good 6 months but only left as I wanted a sauna and steam room. Apart from that this is a great place to work out.... Edit - the sauna and steam room was not a good sacrifice if you have to wait in queues for equipment all the time, so back at PureGym now and much happier...

Fantastic experience: Really nice gym. Beginner friendly too as the staff are quite nice and when you book the get started class on the app you get introduced to everything very well. I also had to change my membership to a student one since I didn't realise they offered it and the customer service was super considerate and quick in getting that sorted out. Would definitely recommend for anyone.

Positive experience: Nice and clean, showers are poor, often too cold or too hot or no power. Lack of free weights when the gym is busy. Always looking for the hooks for the machines to put handles on. There's room upstairs for more machines if arranged better.

Fantastic experience: Good size, plenty of weights and seems to be a little quieter than the other gyms in MK.
