Positive experience: Great place for a birthday party, my granddaughter and her friends loved it.

Negative experience: I called 10 times reception she picked up the call I was about to start talking when she said bye then I called her 5 times more she picked up then I said why did you cut the call she shouted at me to stop calling and it was a simple question. Bad Customer service!!!

Fantastic experience: The leisure box caters for all ages from the Play area for babies and toddlers is where the cafe is on 0 and also got Lazer tag then level 1 you have indoor Rock climbing netball for people with disabilities like myself that do walking netball walking football walking cricket ping pong then you have normal netball for people without disabilities as well

Negative experience: The gym is not fully equipped, it has no changing rooms or showers and there is no cafe stop lying to people and update your website. The management of the gym is disappointing and the staff are not fully trained to run a gym. Quality over quantity any day!

Negative experience: We have been coming to this venue for months, today for some unknown reason, the reception worker informed us that we were not allowed to stand where children are practicing, she asked us to stand outside the cage, then she came down from the reception area to ask us to move again just to stop small children from kicking the ball. We had to move upstairs away from where our children are practicing football. This is not in our opinion the way to treat paying customers. The receptionist said today I am the manager and you do as I say!!!!! All parents said the same thing, this is an absolutely ridiculous rule. This new rule has to be applied to everyone at all times throughout the football sessions!!!!!! This means EVERYONE

Fantastic experience: Fantastic sport facility for football cricket badminton, climbing and many more. Easy to book and staff are first class.

Positive experience: Used outdoor 4G pitch, good for quality ground and clean, easy to book & great quick process. Only negative is if using half the pitch (£40) it’s tiny, very small. And advise to take 2 balls as if one goes over you have a good chance of losing it. Otherwise good experience, staff who came out to unlock pitch was a nice guy very friendly

Fantastic experience: Climb reasonably regularly. Great local facility, albeit a little bit pricey (£12.50 pp regardless of age - our son can't do some of the climbs as they are too technical). Nonetheless, great to be able to experience this sport.

Negative experience: Having quoted in writing for the cost of the sensory room the price suddenly went up on the night. Given that it was a private hire for SEN kids to land that bombshell knowing it would not be possible to cancel is a disgrace .

Positive experience: Great facilities & welcoming staff

Fantastic experience: Great place for children to play. Helpful and friendly staff. Graham the chef was extremely kind and made sure the food was to a good standard. Great portions too kids loved it! Would defo go again!

Positive experience: In terms of play facilities for children, no problem. Top notch. Every visit staff seem completely uninterested. But the price of refreshments is completely unbelievable. £17.80 for two coffees, two sandwiches and a chocolate bar. I could feed a family of four with that at McDonald's. Jesus Christ. Burnt bacon and bread that was so dry it just fell to bits. Over crispy egg and a coffee from a machine that either has sachets or pods inside. Seriously, £4 a brew! Scandalous.

Fantastic experience: First time visiting the venue. Staff friendly and helpful made to feel welcome party room clean and tidy staff ready to help with happy, friendly faces. We attended the party area for an 8 year old lots to do and play with both my kids really had an amazing time and would recommend the venue to anyone looking for somewhere for a child's party.

Fantastic experience: Went with my partner and 2 kids. Did the clip & climb. The 2 lads who oversaw this were really good and very polite. I felt a bit odd being the oldest in there but after my first climb stopped caring. Had an absolute blast and loved it. Highly recommend this a fun activity for all the family

Fantastic experience: Brilliant for adults and children. Very colourful and safe. There was a safety induction firat. The staff were very helpful and the kids and my husband had a really great time. Would definitely recommend it and come back.

Positive experience: I play badminton here at the leisure box and find it difficult to play as there is too much white netting around the courts and the shuttlecocks are difficult to see. Is there anyway that could have a cover over the nets to be able to play without losing the shuttle mid flight. Although the venue is clean but also noisy with football and cricket being played at the same time.

Fantastic experience: My 1st time in what used to be Smith & Nephews weaving sheds. I crossed over the railway bridge to get there & it took my breath away, making me slightly emotional as I grew up in this area, memories flooded back. But on entering The Leisure Box, I was more than impressed & started to get very excited. 3 floors of soft floor play areas for football, netball, etc, (group games). With viewing balconies for supporters, too. But the soft play area is amazing and this place needs to be more widely advertised.

Positive experience: Delightful day out. The canteen has limited options for hot food, drinks and treats which is a shame.

Positive experience: I haven't used the leisure box, I have become a member of the funda gym, I am little unsure of some of the way the gym is run. There is no clear signposting of where to go to get to the gym and how from the main entrance, there is no information about how or where to get the locker keys, surely it would be much more beneficial and easier for the lockers to operate using a pound coin or the key fob as opposed to getting a key from the funda gym which I might add opens at 10 am and closes at 5:30 pm, so if you use the gym early or after 5:30 you cannot access the lockers in the gym and if you want no gym bags in the gym then surely we need lockers we can access easily. There is also no information as to how use some of the equipment or set it up, seems like the gym set up was an after thought.

Fantastic experience: Went for clip n climb with my 7 year old... She smashed it and the place is fantastic!!!!!;

Fantastic experience: I take my grandson here quite often. We have visited the playgroup and normal fundaland sessions. The playgroup is excellent with real thought into activities and equipment put out. The staff are friendly. I really recommend trying it. The normal sessions are good too. The cafe is great and they sell Blondie Brownie cakes! Happy that we have this amenity in Brierfield.

Positive experience: My grandson & friend really enjoyed today, it started later than time specified as no one was about. The man who came with the clipper board for names was walking about eating a banana which didn't look very professional! Got some great photos. But please stop parents from going inside the area where the kids are following them about taking photo's. I took mine on the other side of the fence where they should have been.

Positive experience: Nice, staff nice venue . Thought the £10 charge 4 the cars and lazer quset was very overpriced. Definitely wouldn't pay 4 it again

Fantastic experience: Clean and accessible services. I hired out a badminton court and was pleased with the place when I arrived. The booking portal wasn’t the easiest, but it should hopefully be easier next time.

Fantastic experience: Fabulous venue, visited for a kids party at funda land. Very clean and tidy, the staff were energetic, helpful and professional the food and drink was good quality Mrs was very impressed with the toilet paper, all I can say is that the gents was clean and tidy which is a refreshing first for soft play centres. The kids enjoyed the soft play, the bumper cars and two rounds of laser tag which was fantastic. Really well done

Fantastic experience: Fantastic place to take the kids, lots to do and it’s great value for money. There’s ample parking, a large seating area, superb facilities. The cafe has a great menu and the brews are good, they also stock a big range of ‘blondie brownies’ which are the best brownies for miles around here. Highly recommend a visit, I will definitely be taking my grandchildren back.

Positive experience: My son loves playing here. Only got brownies and drinks which were nice some staff could have done with putting a smile on there face though. Was really busy but was fine. Booked online before as well

Positive experience: Good place for children but the price is bit of putting not as busy as it was previously we used to come a couple of times a week but unfortunately due to the price increase it will just be the once which is a shame as granddaughter loves it staff are lovley and very welcoming .

Fantastic experience: We visited Funda on Friday with our Grandsons age 6 and 4. The whole experience was fabulous. The cafe is reasonably priced and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our Grandsons had an amazing time. X

Fantastic experience: Took my baby girl she loved it. Great place for the little ones. Plenty of space, seating for parenting, cafe available with various cakes, treats, hot&cold drinks. staff are polite and always cleaning round the place is spotless and perfect if you want to go somewhere open and spacious. Always pre book online to save being turned away in the event they are busy. Definitely recommended for children 5 and under.

Fantastic experience: We have been many times - play area, badminton, climbing wall, parties and now the new Fundaland and Lazer Zone. Fantastic facilities, great staff. Our 9 year old granddaughter loves it especially Lazer Zone. No photos as it's full of children!

Fantastic experience: Son loves going here so much. It's ww3 getting him out, much better now its been done up and new things added.

Negative experience: We book football every Sunday and they know we book it but apparently ‘someone booked it already' even though they know we book it for that slot. Absolutely ridiculous.

Positive experience: Fairly inexpensive but lots of private details needed when booking, e.g, DOB, which, I think is unnecessary given the times we live in. Staff are very young, which is fine, but i think they would profit from some older people to make parents feel a little more confident.

Positive experience: only down fall is you cant pay with cash it's all contacless and prices of food are pricey

Positive experience: Was ok expecting it to be bigger for some reason not much soft play plenty of space fr them to expand though

Negative experience: Absolutely awful. Looks as though there are good facilities but none of the staff have a clue what they're doing and not many of them have any people skills. No thought has gone into the planning of the building especially in an emergency.

Negative experience: Play area Staff weren't very customer friendly or focused on their job. Very disappointed. Food wasn't good and they had packed everything away early too.

Fantastic experience: Brill facilities , indoors and outdoor pitches climbing wall parties and carparking , get quite busy sat mornings when grassroots is on but love the place

Positive experience: No complaints about softplay but the service atthe food counter in the softplay center is utterly shocking. Every time you go to the counter e ery single member of staff is missing.you Ave to go in search to get served and even to get out of the place

Fantastic experience: Came for a birthday party in the soft play centre and had a great experience. The place was clean, staff were friendly, the party room was a good size and my children had a lot of fun. We had hot drinks and food from the cafe, everything was tasty, good quality and not badly priced. Will definitely return very soon.

Negative experience: To cancel your gym membership is non existence I trying all the way's possible to cancel my membership its like they don't want you to leave and Good luck put back the dumbbells with out cutting your hands

Positive experience: This is a clean and cheap soft play area.only £3 per child and no cost for adults.I normally go to Giddy Kippers in Nelson which is more expensive and alot busier.I liked that you dont have to pre book online here.Also you can help your child in the play area which they dont let you do at G.K.Downsides: it is freezing! They seem to have their air con on permanently, which you will only like in summer.Their cafe also dont have as many options as G.K and you cant get hot food after 4pm.Though the hot chocolate is nice.Its open till 6 and has disabled access and toilets and plenty of parking.It wouldnt be my first choice,but a good option when G.K is fully booked and you want something cheaper.

Fantastic experience: Our two year-old (nearly three) loves coming to the soft play area here. While he enjoys the toddler area, he does often move into the bigger kids area with supervision from us. I often end up going in with him!

Negative experience: Terrible food. Was invited to a party but the staff didn't make it feel like a party at all..wouldn't hurt to have smiled and made the children feel welcome . Shame as it used to be so friendly and welcoming here

Negative experience: First - card machine wasn't working, fair enough not there fault but don't put a sign up and only tell you when been stood in queue for 20 minutes. Then finally the card machine works but get told at 11.40 they've stopped serving food, even though kids parties are going on and they have a full room. What are parents meant to do???

Fantastic experience: I've given 5 stars because this is a really good place but they need to put on the website when the soft play is closed for party's. I have been 3 times now only to be told its shut . The 3rd time I did try to call and check before leaving but no one answered the phone and when I arrived 6 people were at the desk!!!! Luckily there is another soft play around the corner so not to much of a problem but yes they definitely need to post somewhere.

Negative experience: Very poor. They had a great soft play centre but suddenly closed it indefinitely. This kind of sloppy unreliable service is no use to parents who want to plan activities for their children.

Fantastic experience: We are regulars at the quiet night softplay session and have participated in clip n climb several times. I love how inclusive and understanding the staff are, in particular Sally who is lovely , she always does her best to accommodate sen children and is always ready to listen .

Positive experience: Kids loved the climbing arena, there is a variety of climbing wall challenges with varying degrees of difficulty. There is helpful staff to ensure the kids are secure in the safety harness and help them switch challenge whenever needed.

Fantastic experience: Always a weekly pleasure at this venue. Staff go above and beyond. 3g indoor & outdoor, plus Badminton
