Negative experience: Gym is quite large and equipment well spaced out but there is zero gym management or house keeping. Dumbbells are just scattered randomly throughout the racks and nothing is in its place, also isn’t enough cable hooks

Fantastic experience: Well equipped gym that is open 24 hours. Some machine repairs take a little longer than expected but you can't really grumble for the monthly cost.

Positive experience: Nice gym, lots of equipment, good price, big enough to accommodate at most times, live numbers tracking. Overall good experience and very self directed.

Negative experience: I just went first time to this gym. Please management, could you introduce no mobiles allowed in the gym while using equipments. Most people seat on them and scrolling phones, text, looking for God knows what, taking too much time, ignoring those who actually came to excersise. Shame really I could not use some equipment due to mobile phone zombies.

Negative experience: Pure Gym, to busy, none of the machine empty, shower room with super hot water. Poor management.

Negative experience: Really started to enjoy going the gym, the gym has some good equipment. Some of the equipment now is beginning to look rusted, all the cross trainer machines are covered with rust. My biggest issue at the moment is just how busy it is, I cant plan a workout ahead because the machines are taken or busy every single time, I have to the go the gym after 23:00 to get access to what I want/need which has negatively impacted my sleeping pattern. Recently it's been highly populated with teenagers who come in groups of 4 or more who stand around on machines for about an hour either misuing them or they're play fighting. I know a few people who have cancelled memberships due to how busy it has become at during social hours, I'm considering the same myself. I understand gyms make money but its really becoming an issue

Positive experience: Easy access, good classes but getting a bit tired

Positive experience: I’ve only just joined this gym and visited twice so far. Well equipped gym and quite spacious. I train early hours in the morning at around 5am to avoid crowds of people. Even at 5am this gym is busy. Showers are not powerful and water seems to just splutter out of the shower head and water leaks out of the shower button. A few pubes in the shower not mine btw.

Fantastic experience: Can't fault the gym here. Always clean and plenty of staff keeping on top of the losers that don't put their weights away.

Negative experience: Average budget gym, standard equipment, nothing special. It would be nice if all cable machines had carabiner clips. Cables to clips is probably a 2:1 ratio at best. The membership base is too large for the size of the gym. You can barely get much space to do anything dumbbell related, let alone get on a bench or machine. The class music is unnecessarily loud, I struggle to hear my own music through headphones and it's always trash music they have on in the gym. There's also the issue of misuse on the equipment, a guy is always in there throwing equipment around like he owns it, it's a potential health and safety risk and risk to damaging the equipment, the staff don't care. They just care about how small they can shrink their t-shirts and brylcreem in their hair. Membership cancelled today.

Positive experience: Good gym, well maintained, machines available, large space to workout. Updated Air conditioning doesn't work place is too hot, WiFi is broken, carpark is terrible people parking on double yellows and so many potholes

Positive experience: Regularly go to the gym and enjoy going. Only issue that I have is that the rowing machine batteries are not changed so you cannot program your workout properly and the straps on the machines are broken and need replacing

Negative experience: Toilets stink worse than what you get at festivals .. Air Con is a complete joke! Asked the short fella to turn it on and his response was I need to change my clothes! Great customer services! No duty of care towards members.. Yet when there is a class Air is always working!! Strange that!

Negative experience: Equipments alright. Mens changing room smells like the bogs at Glastonbury with showers that make you sweat more than when you went in. Staff don't wanna know you and full of kids more occupied watching the latest chris bumstead workout instead of actually using the machines..

Negative experience: It's disturbing to have male staff entering the women's locker room on a regular basis.

Negative experience: Decent gym but the showers are diabolical. Considering changing gyms now after being a member for years, they're that bad. Definitely need to sort water pressure out or change shower heads

Positive experience: Am not enjoying nowadays here as i used to since 2013. Tje equipments maintenance level has fallen and many equipments has disappeared

Negative experience: It is Pure Gym's policy for male members of staff to enter the female changing rooms to check the levels of cleanliness. Most staff members do this appropriately and respectfully. However, I experienced the assistant manager (AM) open the door into the main changing area, whilst I was changing. I raised my concerns quietly initially but it happened again the following week. I officially complained. It is being "investigated" but the AM is still in post.

Positive experience: Overall would be 5 stars and value for money, but... #Pros: New equipment recently arrived. Plenty for any type of the workout. Friendly visitor's attitude. Plenty of free parking spots (weekdays bit busy, but not critical). #Cons: Hygiene levels - despite annoying advetisement inside the gym in regards of clearneness and hygiene, unfortunately the real situation is exceptionally poor. The hygieine does not start from sanitarisation stations, but from regular proper through out cleaning. Due non existence of those practices in Puregym, the results: stinky, splashed all around toilets and urinals and, even equipment itself - splashed with sweat and sugar-drinks. The problem is definitely not in amount of the visitors, just because you can see the same dirt on the same place weeks after weeks. PureGym, keep it clean not in words, but in deeds and 5 stars are guaranteed.

Positive experience: can get very busy at night which can be frustrating waiting for equipment or to find a parki g space. but clean, light and has everything you need. People seem happy in there too.

Fantastic experience: Great equipment and very clean

Negative experience: Shower cubics are not cleaned and maintained appropriately. Water temperature is too hot for skin health and the 3 second time delay on shower push button is too frustrating. I'm sure there are better ways to save water and energy consumption in shower cubics. Energy consumption could be less if water temperature is set to a few degrees lower. Workout area is above average in my opinion.

Fantastic experience: The legs bums and tums this morning was again amazing. That was with Gaz, I always enjoy my time with fitness instructors at my local branch. Each and everyone of them are amazing. Ange has always been my fav but she’s got a competition there with Gaz this morning! Absolutely worth the effort coming.

Fantastic experience: +points Great place to train, Great atmosphere and nice and clean. Negative points a couple of the male PTs are more interested in women than helping males. Twice on my last visit I asked a male PT for help 1, my app on my was playing up asked for assistance and was told point blank iam not working and summoned a female PT WHO HELPED,2 A piece of equipment was faulty a bolt had come out so again I asked the male PT again (he wasn't working again) but started to give advice to a young lady to be honest it was a bit cringy watching,I put the bolt back on the machine and told a lady PT. Maybe in my next visit it might be better.

Fantastic experience: Excellent pump class with Jade. Brilliant instructor and varies the class to work all areas. Also need more circuit classes with Jordan, especially in evenings. Also excellent instructor, knowledgeable and a great motivator.

Negative experience: the showers are disgusting, black mold is on every shower tray. Also no rotary torso machine.

Positive experience: quite alright. But the MUSIC SUCKS.

Fantastic experience: The gym was spotless. Plenty of cleaning stations. Everyone was social distancing. It has all the equipment you need to work out whatever your level of fitness and it's all well maintained.

Fantastic experience: Clean and well managed. I use pure gyms all over northern England due to work commitments and this one is very good. Only times I avoid are 7: 00 to 9;00 and 15:30 to 19:00 on weekdays as like all gyms across the land they are packed at those times.

Negative experience: Please be aware if you like to use the stair master machines...two out of four do not work! And one of them has been broken for three or four weeks!...disgraceful! Broken rowing machines, rusty cross trainers...it's like being in a overcrowded scrapyard of exercise machines....no cleaning stations...pure shareholders must be so pleased with their dividends!..considering my membership
