Snap Fitness Sandhurst

Negative experience: Poor gym, left months back, toilets were disgusting, the stench sometimes wafting out. Gym would more often than not would have groups of kids doing texts instead of sets. Ringing the doorbell so mates let them in out of hours. Manager seemed ok when leaving but the area manager was rude and no care for anything other than making maximum money from you. They were asked to delete all my personal information instead they phone me asking if I’m looking at joining again. Said no I want all my information deleted, instead they then send emails and texts a week later so clearly no regard for gdpr and your personal information or your requests. Would never join a snap fitness again due to this, plenty of other gyms around that won’t be like this.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member at the sandhurst gym for about a year now. The staff are amazing; personable and have an abundance of knowledge when it comes to health, wellbeing and fitness. I feel it needs different machines for more of a variety when it comes to weight training. I would also have cleaners in twice a day as the gym gets used a lot, especially the toilets. But the staff maintain it as best they can during the day.

Fantastic experience: great members of staff always willing to help! Great gym community. Sonam is a great member of staff always there when needed and always pushes to push past mental blocks!

Negative experience: This is a Scummy gym franchise I've cancelled the membership but still taking money out of my account I've blocked them so They can't take any money out in the future and now the harassment call me

Fantastic experience: Fantastic gym! Louis and Sonam took me through workouts designed specifically to my needs. They explained everything so clearly and I felt supported to continue my fitness journey at this gym. The atmosphere here is so welcoming and whilst I’ve only been here twice I have received excellent service and look forward to returning as much as possible! Thank you Louis and Sonam!

Positive experience: Been a member here for 3-4 years. Staff very nice and friendly. Gym equipment is ok, not a huge range of choice but still have everything basic you could need and readily available. Parking is great. Reason for 4 stars and not 5 is due to how expensive it is compared to other leisure centres in the surrounding area.

Negative experience: Avoid avoid avoid! They won’t let you cancel, and they will renew your membership without your permission! I have tried to cancel multiple times by phone and emails, and in each occasion the team provided a lame excuse to not cancel the membership and to renew it. Avoid at all cost! There are better equipped gym out there, this is an utter fraud, don’t bother. Too bad I can’t give a zero star!

Fantastic experience: Generally the best gym in the area, it is a little expensive but worth every penny. Would recommend to beginners as everyone is super sportive.

Fantastic experience: Have been a member of Sandhurst Snap for a couple of years. Lots of cardio equipment as well as weight machines and free weights. Which target all areas of your body. Really friendly approachable coaches always willing to help if you ask. Also add a lady I never feel intimated by using the free weights/Olympic bar for squats, deadlifts etc. love that you can ise 24 hours a day. I highly recommend the club.

Negative experience: Cold water in the showers some days. You can see the cowards and the dust to grow every day. The half of the machines are turn off some days for save energy so you can't do your routine. The showers smell like a dump. The rules that you read in the App are different from the contract that they make you sign. I just hope that the rest of my contract to change gyms goes by quickly. This is absolutely rubbish.

Fantastic experience: Great GYM, friendly and helpful staff. Louis is always there to give help and advice to anyone that needs it. A very good range of equipment for whatever your fitness goal is…but would love it if they could get a Peck Deck/Reverse Fly machine.

The facilities are very clean; and staff are always extremely polite and helpful and have been able to answer any questions I’ve had. My PT Yasmin is super encouraging, knowledgeable and has been vital in taking my fitness journey to the next level.

Negative experience: I was there on Friday with my son a few weeks ago because every Friday is like friend and family day so my son took me there. So, this guy called Stuart was at the reception and obviously we reported to the reception first before we carry on our exercise. This guy doesn't have a manner of speaking and was asking me to pay. Money not everything (ATTITUDE) important. He was a little bit rude to me. My son was trying to explain to him. I literally want to leave that place. I don't really know what he thinks he is? Rudeness and A bad attitude is like a flat tire. You can't go anywhere until you change it Mr Stuart please remember this.

Fantastic experience: Just joined as am working at a company based in Blackbushe Business Park. Decent little gym, dumbells up to 50kg. Clean & tidy. A few more machines would improve it no end, but no complaints. Does what it says on the tin and allows me to train at 04.30 before work. Very pleased.

Fantastic experience: I only recently joined this gym about 2 weeks ago and I must say its the most cleanest gym I've ever stepped into! Every time I'm there I never fail to see the staff working round the clock keeping the place neat and tidy and not to mention how incredibly friendly the staff have been since day one. I am also very impressed with the layout and the abundance of great quality equipment available! Give me those Snap Fitness Gains! Highly Recommend this gym!

Fantastic experience: I find the clients and the general atmosphere very nice and relaxed whenever I've trained. Its clean bright and modern and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Negative experience: no showers given that it we must wash to kill the virus. no hand sanitizer in toilet area the biggest place like to spread the virus . have odd rules about the gym at moment

Negative experience: Had only been a member for less than 30 days when lockdown happened so I sent an email requesting to cancel my membership as I was moving away. The T+C’s say to come into the gym and cancel but obviously wasn’t able to as they were shut. After a few months with no contact they tell me I will have to pay for august even though I have no way of using the gym. No help from the manager. No way of speaking to anyone else other than him. Only use if you don’t mind paying money grabbing con artists. I would avoid at all cost.

Fantastic experience: Really good gym friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Positive experience: My PT Sam is brilliant and encouraging. The only bit I hate is people pretending to use the fitness equipment instead they are texting or making phone calls. The other thing is there is a code of what and not what wear, it is not enforced. Guy in there in a pair of tracky bottoms covered in paint and silicone. Obviously had just come from work. Otherwise the place is good and better than the gym.

Negative experience: Awful awful experience. No customer service skills. Cancellation is designed to squeeze every last penny from you. I was charged for 4 months that I didn’t step inside the gym for, and they are still trying to charge me !!!

Negative experience: Beware, it is difficult to get out of the "no contract" contract. I wish I had read all the reviews before I signed up.

Positive experience: As expected this is a well equipped 24/7 gym with plenty of space in very good condition, a bit lacking for hardcore bodybuilders but certainly suitable for the majority of gym goers. I belong to the one in Didcot so I can visit any other Snap franchise location and use it as if it was my own branch, so it felt like snap in Didcot just a bit larger.
