Negative experience: You have to pay separate for the parking. Every week you see a new breakdown. Sometimes sauna, sometimes jacuzzi and sometimes showers. No safe for your stuff in the locker as we (me and 2 other friends lost Some of our stuff) The gym is very small and mostly after work is very busy. The most important thing if you are even student or have some friends there talking and have communication with anyone for them that's mean you want do business and find some clients and customers them . Very jealous if you have female friends or if you have laugh with friends. Come on guys who are working there and report a few people there so far your rubbish center isn't worth even for that price. And if you report someone you must prove it not just hide like a Rat.

Fantastic experience: Was the student desk for Indian society. The place was simply superb. Loved the classic vibes of a university sports centre. Staff as friendly and loving as always. I am a regular at the university every other day so enjoy the place for sure. Pondering on getting enrolled for gym or swimming sessions though.

Positive experience: Great pool, may be biased because it was pretty quiet when I went. It is slightly heated. Wonderful hot jacuzzi and sauna. Only downside is a lock was almost broken in women’s shower cubicles and I panicked a bit so just double check the lock before you use it. I had informed reception though so hopefully it is fixed now.

Positive experience: Super friendly reception staff/ lifeguards I go for the pool/swim club, so am there a lot. There is a sauna/hot tub and you can borrow a kickeboard/pull-buoy if you need one. The pool isn't usually to busy but on tue/thur nights it gets a bit crowded due to swimming lessons. Rated it 4 stars because of the sheer tonnes of chlorine put into that pool I feel like they only do it because they have too, and it's not dangerous. It just dried my eyes out a bit and is a little gritty sometimes.

Positive experience: gym equipment is good, it does not look too modern but good equipment and good gym facilities. The pool is a good size but major downside is that the changing rooms of the swimming pool stink as the toilet area stinks of basically sewage, this has been mentioned on previous comments. The spa pool was out of order, also mentioned previously. They say you get what you pay for and thats £20 so its good for that price but the smell of the male toilets not too good at all.

Fantastic experience: If you are a University of Salford student, an alumnus or live in Salford and you are not registered here? You are missing out!!!. The sports centre is well-equipped, very neat and super helpful staff too.

Fantastic experience: Clean, friendly, brilliantly equipped gym. I mainly used it for my gym instructor qualification lecture, and it's great. The staff are hard working and always cheery and ready to help when needed. Lucky to have such a fab gym on campus it's especially useful for me being a NEM student. Added bonus of money off is a great incentive and lovely gesture for students to get and stay active ❤

Positive experience: Can’t fault this place really for what it is. Changing room have a smell to them sometimes and jacuzzi pools never working however.. the pool is always warm, staff are friendly and it’s got a chilled vibe to it. I’ve never been on the gym here so can’t comment but there’s a little gym on the outside the kids love to play on.

Positive experience: This place is amazing. From the pool to the gym everything is clean and in a good shape. Even though they give students and stuff priority, making it a bit expensive for other users, I was happy with the service. One down hill though is that the gym closes at 10 pm which is a bit early for a gym to close. If it closed at 11 or 12 pm it would be great as most people go to gym after a long hours of studying or working. But only the gym not the swimming or other sections.

Positive experience: Small gym with a big swimming pool. Gym area with 2 squash courte, small machine area. The swimming pool is very nice and big. Only downside of it is the fixed schedule to open the pool. The pool also closes as early as 8 pm. Therefore the peak time can be super busy.

Positive experience: Gym changing rooms constantly stink of poo. Swimming pool change rooms are small but fine for anyone who doesn't have a 4yr old and two 2yr old twins. I do, so it's a hard. But doable. Not tried the gym.

Fantastic experience: Very good and well equipped gym. They are constantly making improvements to the area, such as new machines, pool , spa improvements and new areas with even new rooms.

Fantastic experience: Since starting the sport center at University, it has been nothing but a relaxing, chilled environment. The staff are very friendly and highly encouraging. Go nearly every day and join fitness classes which really do help. They have a very good fitness programme where they tell you where to go from your last update. Great gym and cheap for students! Love it.

Fantastic experience: This is a review of the swimming pool only. It is an excellent 25-metre pool. The shallow end is 1.2 metres and the deep end 1.9 metres. Normally reserved for university students, staff and alumni, it is also used for children's swimming lessons by a private company. Beside the pool there is both a sauna and jacuzzi. The changing room is everything you could wish for. There are separate shower facilities for males and females and you get changed not in a communal room but in private booths. There is also a machine for wringing the water out of your swimming costume plus four hair dryers.
