Fantastic experience: Proper old school gym, unbelievable amount of kit from brands such as Arsenal, cyber, pre our, hammer strength and so much more. Rare gym equipment that you’d struggle to find anywhere else. Back area, shoulder area, leg area, arms and chest area. Absolute awesome gym if you enjoy the old school feel with so much equipment that pictures and words can’t describe.

Fantastic experience: Haven't got a bad word to say about it. The gym is well equipped, due to that there is always an alternative piece of equipment if the one you wanted is taken. If I lived closer I would definitely join. But I just buy a day pass every few weeks to change my workouts up and get use out of different machines and alternate exercises that I can't do in my other gym. The stairs are a great warm up before a gym session. The girls changing is lovely. Easily accessible from salford crescent train station and not far from town if you want a good walk and get some steps in. The music and atmosphere really helps with the pump Staff are friendly and helpful, thank you! I just love it, it's a gem glad I got in to finally check it out.

Fantastic experience: I love this place, since moving to Manchester it has become my home gym. Very welcoming people, lovely members and so much high quality kit. The vibe is pretty high energy and for now at least bring cash for a day pass as no card payments are accepted. Parking is free at the gym or on the street - or it’s a very cheap uber ride from city center hotels and apartments

Fantastic experience: Old-school bodybuilding gym. Amazing staff, everyone is friendly and courteous. Plenty of sanitiser and equipment for wiping downs machines before and after use. Fewer cardio machines than some gyms but there is a range of equipment for every workout possible.

Positive experience: I'm not a gym huff but as someone quite new this is by far the best gym I've tried in the area. The only reason I'm not putting 5 stars is because I'd love earlier opening hours, but staffing a gym at crazy o'clock in the morning can't be cheap :(

Fantastic experience: Flex n Tone is the gym I train at for last 10 years. I wouldn't go elsewhere simply because this is the best equipped gym I know. Tons of free weights, heavy dumbbells up to 80kg, Hammer Strength plate loaded machines, 2 squat racks, deadlines platform, Nautilus equipments, multiple Smith Machines, 4 gates, pulleys, 3 different leg press and more. Cardio room and boxing/ martial arts room is also here. Friendly atmosphere from all trainees, Adam and Mike. If you want to make real progress then train at real gym

Fantastic experience: I first started going to flex and tone with my brother when Mike had not long had the place around 1995. It had an amazing atmosphere then and brilliant selection of equipment and it's only got better from there. Hard working, saw dust, working class atmosphere which is equal if not to Yate's temple gym in Birmingham. I'm a runner now not a bodybuilder anymore but its still the best place hands down for training of any kind. Well done Mike.

Fantastic experience: Been in this week for the first time and the atmosphere and people are class such good vibes tunes pumping, iron everywhere and some of the machines are unreal never seen a gym like it. Definitely the best gym I've ever been by a long shot they've got about 6 machines just for your calfs ha it's class. If your about round Manchester/Salford definitely check it out it's an iconic gym and the fees are very reasonable. Pure membership cancelled, where do I sign??

Fantastic experience: I've been training at Flex & Tone for the last 2.5-3 years and I think it's going to be impossible to train anywhere else now! Can't fault any aspect; Mike and Adam who run the place are super friendly and approachable, the amount of equipment is never-ending and the atmosphere created by the other members in there is 2nd to none. #Flex&ToneFamily !
