Anytime Fitness Loudwater

Negative experience: Our business is very unique, one of the things we do is network & trial new gyms there are so many variables as to why Anytime Fitness has been rated as 1* by Leena Fitness. As a whole the gym is very clean & the equipment is new all amazing things, unfortunately this was one of the first Anytime Fitness branches we actually joined & recommended other members in our community to join which is now a decision we regret. Typically we tend to share & network as mentioned, we want to do our bit to help without nothing in return as we like to see the growth of others in their brand & businesses. Now social media is large & expansive it is still a form of being on the internet, regardless of what anyone says they want to go viral especially in the fitness space & you cannot say otherwise. Our founder actually promoted three PT’s from this gym without not expecting anything in return & was actually a former member of this gym. Megan Burkley actually sent a very unprofessional message directly to our member then blocked any further messages on Instagram via their official Instagram account very unprofessional considering she has been at the gym for sometime & once again this individual had joined the gym as their first Anytime Fitness brand. I will not even give the other two women clout, as with all the factors they’re just as docile in the head as if it was a larger creator for a matter of fact they would be singing a different tune. Based on this I would strongly recommend not joining this gym as based on this one scenario which is essentially a silly situation it unfortunately brings it to 1* despite the gym being tidy & the equipment being new. At the end of the day if your staff are gonna be unprofessional, ungrateful, rude & genuinely do not how to network especially on a platform like social media that individual is clearly unfit for the work place. I hope Anytime Fitness Loudwater work on this & disciplining & ideally getting rid of Megan & her two colleagues as the gym is a place you do not want these playground incidents management needs to accept this fact & the liability of their staff members & hold them to much higher standard. If you wish to still join Anytime Fitness we strongly recommend High Wycombe who are amazing & their service & their overall approach is much better. Alternatively Gerrards Cross we would recommend despite some teething issues initially actually showed that they was supportive on their members especially if they had brands similar to ours &/or a working with social media creators. Anytime Fitness Loudwater we well & truly hope you get rid of these bad actors & we do not have to make further complaints about your staff to Anytime Fitness UK &/or directly to the Headquarters in the United States. As the outburst is frankly unacceptable. Do better.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been training with Holly since March 2024 & Holly has been hands down so supportive and helpful! I came to Holly with no knowledge on gym and fitness and Holly has helped me achieve my goals, including help with a diet plan. There has been moments where I felt I couldn’t carry on but Holly was patient and gave me reassurance which also helped with my confidence!!! If you are planning on signing up, ask for Holly as your personal trainer!!!! Highly recommend

The staff are friendly and approachable creating a welcoming and happy environment. I have recently started PT sessions with Sophie who is very knowledgeable and supportive.

Fantastic experience: Great gym. Staff are all friendly and happy to help with any questions you might have. My PT Sophie is also amazing and always caters to the various injuries I rock up with. Always clean and the equipment is well maintained. One request.... Can we have a Wednesday morning circuit class please?

Fantastic experience: Anytime in Loudwater is a great gym! Always updating the equipment. Staff are very friendly. I have PT sessions with Meg once a week. Highly recommend her!

Fantastic experience: This is a great gym, easy access / parking and clean with lots of great equipment and never feels overcrowded.. I have an amazing PT called Holly , who has really helped me kick start my routine again and I enjoy weekly sessions that are both challenging and fun :)

Fantastic experience: This is a great gym, clean and spacious with all the equipment you'll ever need. The PTs are all highly qualified and knowledgeable, in particular Holly who has encouraged and helped me get back in the gym after a year long shoulder injury. Fantastic experience: Can’t comment on the quality of the gym, however I booked a viewing/trial at 11 today. Turned up, no answer at the door, no answer on the phone, waited outside for 10 minutes before leaving. Update: I have since been back to the gym, and initial hiccup aside, they’ve been spot on customer service wise. Gym itself is good quality and certainly excellent value for the price of membership. Nice to see other gym goers care with weights being put back in their correct places even during peak times.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member of a few gyms over the years and can honestly say, this is by far the best one yet! The equipment is fantastic and premises recently decorated! The main thing that makes the difference for me is the team, Robert, Megan, Holly and Sophie are so friendly and approachable. The members in this gym are also very friendly, clearly true testimony to how the gym is run and activities conducted. Thankyou!

Negative experience: The people that manage this facility are fried. Imagine I am in the same industry I promoted them freely with no intention of getting nothing out of it despite being a previous member of this gym. Now this is more a universal message as a whole on social media especially to aspiring influencers etc. If you do not want nothing shared on social media do not upload it is common sense or there is a double standard that I’m sure if I had a 100k followers their approach would be different. As a former member I am disgusted I am even having to re-review this gym based on their attitudes to me sharing & helping them from my perspective. Anytime Fitness Management should really look at the three members of staff in question & get rid of them the whole situation is outrageous.

Fantastic experience: Top tier gym. Been training 16 years so been around the block with different places and this place is the best I've been to. Staff go out of their way to make sure you feel comfortable and the place is littered with all the best equipment. Never overcrowded during peak hours and very affordable.

Negative experience: Bad gym , and old equipment and rude staff, definitely after 1 year membership I suggest to everyone to go somewhere else

Fantastic experience: Jackie and the staff go the extra mile to provide a fantastic customer service and are very quick at responding to queries. A great gym too. I recommend this gym to all age groups.

Negative experience: If you accidentally cancel in a way they don’t like (despite paying in full, more than 70 pounds, for the month in which you used the gym), you will be pursued like you have the worlds largest debt. I will never go near an AF again, not least due to the fact I’m being charged 50 pounds a month to not use their gym. Predatory rubbish Nice response. You know exactly what you're doing. May it make you all the money you desire.

Negative experience: Pathetic experience. I called them to cancel membership. They didn't pick after couple of calls and left voice message about my decision. A month later still took out the payment. Cancelled direct debit and now they have passed my details to debt collection. Wasn't even in a contract. Facilities below average.

Fantastic experience: I have recently joined Anytime First in loudwater, I’m not a very confident person and was really scared about joining a gym, until I met the staff at loudwater, Jackie, Robert, Megan, Louis they all made me extremely welcome , really lovely people. Megan gave me a workout to focus on and I’ve now been going 3/4 days a week and really enjoying it. It’s improved my well being and confidence . So if anyone is looking for a really friendly gym to join with excellent staff I recommend Anytime First loudwater

Fantastic experience: A great gym with a wide range of machines - in the 4 months I’ve been attending it has changed a lot and they’re constantly updating the space. I also PT with Rene who is amazing - she’s super kind, really listens to your goals and helped get me ready for my wedding day which I will always be thankful for. If you’re considering attending here I would recommend it!

Fantastic experience: Really good vibes here. A good selection of equipment especially with the new cardio studio upstairs. Always clean and tidy and the PTs are very knowledgeable and friendly. Rene has a great energy which I find really motivating, would recommend :)

Fantastic experience: I have been going to gyms on and off for over 40 years. I have been a member of Anytime Fitness at Loudwater for over four years and have found it to be the best gym that I have ever been to. It is well equipped with up-to-date equipment and is spread out over two floors. The staff at the gym from the managers, personal trainers and other staff are all very friendly and very knowledgeable. You are made to feel like part of a family and it is a very friendly and happy atmosphere. The other members who are also regulars, live locally and everyone is friendly and polite. The management will not tolerate those who are rude and unfriendly and on the odd occasions where they come across one of these persons, they are told to behave or leave the gym. The gym is open 24hours so you can always find a time to suit you. I have no hesitation in recommending this gym to anyone.

Fantastic experience: This is the best gym by far of all that I have used in the past 25 years or so and have been a member for the past 6. It is well equipped (and getting better) and the atmosphere in the club is so friendly and supportive. The staff are all amazing - I don't want to single any out because they are all so welcoming and helpful - and this sets the tone for the club. I look forward to and enjoy my visits and recommend it without qualification. I am, indeed, one very happy customer.

Negative experience: Have been forced to keep a membership going for 4 months even though I have two herniated discs. Cancelled my membership was told it would be cancelled in March, now they've taken more money out of my account and have told me my membership doesn't expire until April.

Negative experience: I am so sorry to submit this feedback but I feel really bad the way I was treated by the manager of the gym Robert Utley. It has never occurred to me to be yelled and questioned by someone while being the customer. I have been working in the customer service for years but I would never think of treating a customer like that. All that because I cancelled the class on the app and it wasn’t showing as cancelled on their end. He went even further saying that I need to apologise and he didn’t care if I left. This is the end of my membership in this gym. I expect my membership to be canceled as soon as possible. I’m fully entitled as I joined the gym February 2019. Thanks for the excellent customer service offered.

Negative experience: I had enquired about a small question, however Jackie kept insisting I come down and be shown around, however I'm not going to waste my time as being a night worker it's hard to find time. So as such I have to give this place a 1 star due to the incompetence to answer a very simple question.

Fantastic experience: It's a very good gym. They have a decent amount of weight machines and free weights on the ground floor and around 12 or 15 cardio machines upstairs. It has a few changing rooms and showers. It is very convenient to go at any time and enter with the key fob. I personally try to avoid the busiest periods so am unsure if how busy it can get, but the times I go it's not overly busy.

Fantastic experience: It is absolutely great to have an ability to get to the gym at any time of the day and week. 24/7 was exactly I was looking for. It has got all Its equipment and also very friendly staff that is there on their special hours, not Sunday though. There are showers, safe place for bags, water cooler and all sort of equipment you would need. Top place for exersices and also socializing as they also do different classes with high class teachers during the week. Thanks :)

Negative experience: On the plus side..the machines are new and the staff are fairly friendly, if you want a gym that you can use at anytime of day or night then it may be worth it. For what you get it is expensive compared to other gyms in the area, you have to bear in mind that this is a converted office block rather than a bespoke built gym so it doesn't have the feel of a really good facility. in particular the classes studio lacks decent air-con and is quite small and so in warmer weather for me it was unusable for classes. There are only 3/4 classes per day and they are average at best despite the best efforts of the enthusiastic instructors, classes get booked up quickly but seem to have the same attendees each time. If you like spin classes, look elsewhere as this 'class' is virtual and your on your own!! Lastly remember that if you join, no matter what...you are locked in for 12 months no matter what happens and no discussion, again compared to other offerings in the area very 1980's.

But this Anytime Fitness Gym in loudwater is by Far the Best with the Brilliant members of staff who are a breath of fresh air always smiling and happy to help , with the quality of the equipment avaliable and classes, PT's, shout out to Megan her work outs would give the Army a run for there weapons and Holly who kept me going all the way through my pregnancy, and after having my baby to get me back in to shape. Fantastic experience: After years of avoiding gyms I found Anytime in Loudwater and from the minute I walked in felt part of the family. The staff are so friendly and there is a real supportive vibe. So much so I recommended it to several friends and family: I now come 3-4 times a week and love the variety of machinery and classes available and the freedom to make it work for me... I feel fitter, healthier and look noticeably more toned! Thank you anytime for helping me achieve my goals!!!

Fantastic experience: Really good gym set-up, good amount of parking spaces and really friendly staff. The gym goers are also super friendly, it's not an intimidating workout space. There is a lot of equipment for serious weight lifters to casual cardio kings or queens. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

Positive experience: This is a fantastic gym. Have been a member for 3 and a half years and I put this down to everyone being really friendly and not feeling self conscious about using the weights area which I have felt in previous gyms. It's great that you can go 24 hours a day 365 days a year which can suit everyone. The classes are great and the staff are very informative and friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone to come here.

Negative experience: The Gym is decent. Small but Clean. Not enough cardio machines. In the mornings i cant get on a decent bike. I have a bad foot so i cant use treadmill so i have not been able to do any cardio there which has resulted in me having to join a second gym. Be warned that they lock you in to a 12 month contract - this is probably the downfall. No one wants a locked in contract for any gym. They will threaten ya with debt collectors.

Negative experience: No Pilates and more things to do in the morning for not workers probably

Positive experience: Free parking, convenient and everyone is really friendly. This gym helped me realise that gyms aren’t scary and that they’re really friendly places. You’re all they’re doing the same thing at the end of the day! Small gym but has everything you need. Free classes are good too.

Fantastic experience: Super friendly and helpful staff, a great range of up-to-day and well maintained equipment, good air conditioning, clean individual changing/shower rooms and considerate members. I've started going to a really enjoyable yoga class and my flexibility is improving by leaps and bounds (almost literally). All of this comes at a competitive price; what's not to like?
