Fantastic experience: Gym ️‍♀️ is clean and tidy. Staff are friendly and helpful

Positive experience: The gym is so good, recently refurbished and with brand new equipment. The staff are friendly and helpful, the place is clean, and there is a good mix of people who use the gym, which is something I look for (i.e. not packed with gym bros). The only reason I marked it down one star is that the changing room and toilet facilities are very basic and a bit dated. The showers in the women's changing room are communal (rather than cubicles) and there is 1 small mirror. No hairdryers etc so you'd need to bring your own if needed. Other than that, I think it's really great!

Fantastic experience: St Pauls Sports Academy is a really great sports centre. I use the gym and I do personal training there also. The gym is well equipped with modern machines and free weights. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I would recommend this sports centre to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I go to the Bristol massage centre based here. I find it extremely useful. I have arthritis in my spine. My neck gets very stiff and painful. Brian is able to work on the painful areas. I get some immediate relief, but it gets better the following day when everything eases up and I'm able to move my neck easier with less discomfort. The centre is easy to find with polite helpful staff. It's clean and bright.

Negative experience: I recently booked one of the 4g pitches for our 6 a side football game, booked an hour session however we were kicked out after 50 minutes. Apparently it’s on their website that you pay for one hour but you only play 50 minutes, shocking, Also we were told not to use the showers.

Fantastic experience: great centre and nice and quiet and great reception staff - been to the Massage centre which moved from Horfield centre and actually i prefer this centre, quieter and more peaceful - though will have to explore the local cafes in due course - would recommend this centre if you do want somewhere that is quiet - it is NOT in the CAZ - easy to get to plenty of parking and cycle spaces

Positive experience: Staff polite, facilities good but a little disappointing that we don't get a discount as our players live at the local homeless hostel.

Positive experience: Nice gym, small and quiet. Very friendly staff. Machines often remain not working or with issues for too long. Worst of all is TV spark whenever you go in with in the hour you have watched the same program for months. It's like groundhog Day.

Positive experience: Affordable place to play badminton and fairly close to Bristol City Centre...but you always have to remind the facilities guys to clean the floor since sometimes it get slippery because of the dirt. During the Covid day (with significant restrictions) the floor was fantastic because they will clean this after every session.

Friendly staff, Donna is the reception worker and shes a funny friendly and loving human being. The best gym in bristol would highly recommend to everyone.

Positive experience: Been going here for just over 10 years, small gym, great staff, not to busy, able to get my head down and do what I need to do. Never had an issue. (Updated 2022) was originally 5 stars but dropped down due the poor gym equipment, old, rusty, plates stick together, machines broken. It's as the gym is given the scraps from the gyms getting the new equipment. I think it's been a decade since they got anything new. The staff still get 5 stars just the equipment which isn't their fault.

Negative experience: Decent gym, football pitches are good. However they call the bell/ pips sometimes 10 minutes before time is due on evening bookings. Last night it went at 10:20pm when we paid until 10:30pm. Also employ one of the rudest most miserable people I have ever met on the front desk. I'm sure you'll know who I mean when you meet her. Besides that nice community vibe.

Positive experience: Quiet gym with a bench setup, a squat rack and a few freestanding benches. There are several bars so you should never have to wait. There is a little padded stretching area and the basic suite of resistance machines. The gym also had a few bikes, treadmills and cross trainers.

Positive experience: Played badminton there, considering the price the court is pretty damn slippery and the lights mess up your eyes on those high shots! Easton courts are far better for indoors.

Negative experience: Very expensive compared to other leisure centres. I asked some questions online about membership before Christmas, still no reply. Not very good customer service.

Positive experience: Good collection of football and basketball courts. Also has martial art classes. But small size weights room and expensive charging policy. The monthly fee is higher compare to competitors and you have to pay a month upfront. Also you have to cancel the membership right before the end of the month, otherwise you may end up paying for an extra month. Finally I find it stupid that I have to pay a joining fee again, when I used to be a member at the gym and they already have my details.

Negative experience: I have only used the gym, but it is cold and lacking inspiration. I'd suggest going to the Easton gym instead.
