Positive experience: Prior to the refurbishment the gym was tired but functional and far too many tread Mills compared to free weights. After the refurbishment the gym has become far too difficult to access with the new nfc door access control, it took me over 10 minutes to get the stair door to accept my phone before I eventually gave up snd used the qr code only to then find I had to go all through this again to access the gym. Tonight it wouldn't let my wife in and we where told it's because we have a "popup blocker" which we don't but we do have anti virus software which I'm not taking off just so this door works. Once I eventually got in the gym it does appear to have a much better ratio of free weights to cardio machines however some of the equipment particularly the weight Benches are really poor quality and just don't have enough adjustment range and drop when laid flat which is really bad when your lifting weight. If your taking children and football is on you will need to be extremely careful in the car park as its extremely busy and a lot of drivers drive way too fast showing off, it's a pretty dangerous place to walk when it's busy. Overall it's not the worst gym I've been to and it will hopefully get better with some ironing out of the issues especially the door access And put the current occupancy levels back on the app so we can see how busy it is before coming down.

Negative experience: Didn't realise it was Stockport County's academy training venue. Awkward to find even with sat nav. Won't be going again

Positive experience: Great selection of gym equipment and ample parking. The car park does get busy when the football practise is on but I always manage to find a space despite this. Sauna facility here and modern clean changing rooms and toilets.

Negative experience: Staff are nice but that's about as good as it gets. Equipment takes too long to get fixed, way too many cardio equipment over weights. Nobody is capable to organise the football pitches properly so majority of your time will be spent finding a parking space and stuck in traffic. Your nans house is probably warmer than the sauna too.

Positive experience: Good local gym with a lot of equipment and the choice to visit other venues in the area. The noise played over the speakers is annoying and sometimes loud with most people wearing headphones. With the council taking over hopefully life leasure FM will go soon.

Positive experience: Had a mint time with 3 generations of my family, easy to find the pitches you need helpfull staff and community. Parking is a nightmare tho even witnessed a note being left after a car had been hit trying to leave the place. Really needs to expand. Other wise all good.

Fantastic experience: Yes all good but since me mum's passing in September of this year I had a long out of lifeleisure resone because I needed to be with me mum until the end, of me mums life I couldn't come to gym because it would make things worse at the time, plus I had people around me at time when I needed help for the better in my life. But to day back in gym but not a work out I was in the (Thermal suite) having a rest until next in 2024 Gary

Fantastic experience: We visited the kids stockport county football here and wow was amazed at the whole set up, very professionally set up, people very friendly. there is a life leisure gym here too, plenty of free parking but can get busy, it's a hidden sports gem.

Negative experience: We Literally offered to pay the manager money but she refused and kicked us off, does she want the business to make a profit or not, all the employees let us pay instead of kicking us off but this manger was very stubborn and refused our money, terrible manager, sack bee immediately.

Negative experience: To busy not enough parking space. Cars parked on pavements and the grass. Very unsafe for small children due to the cars and bad viability. The actual building is great loads of things going on.

Negative experience: too small, can never get on any machines at peak times due to classes, to expensive and prices are always going up. And the speed bumps on the way in to the gym are suspension wreckers
