Negative experience: Worst pool I have ever been to I was in the free part of the pool and I got told to swim when I was just chilling at the side and the staff don’t really speak nice to you the rules aren’t accurate and you might get shouted at for something you didn’t do it ruined my entire day

Positive experience: Well equipped leisure centre with pool, gym etc.

Fantastic experience: Spacious, bright, well laid out gym, clean changing areas and the staff are friendly and welcoming.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant not too far too travel, for a great 1 or two hours, for the leisure centre, brilliant, so relaxing when you get home, really chilled out

Negative experience: toilets was not working half of the time people parked in disabled spaces with no badge up and watched people who needed it couldn't get into it

Negative experience: Appalling treatment from swimming pool staff and management that myself and my daughter who has a severe learning disability and ASD were subjected to in this place. No duty of care towards any of their customers. Staff and manager were rude and uncompassionate. Horrific experience. I emailed a letter of compliant to customer services to which I received no response, which isnt surprising given the lack of customer service from staff and management here. I wouldn't step foot in the place again. A highly distressing experience for both my daughter and myself. Avoid at all costs!!

Negative experience: Shameful behaviour from a member of the swimming instructors team. Will discuss again with a manger and if need be take it further.

Positive experience: They could have done better building this place, no slides or fun things for the kids. Blinds down most of the time, no natural light in the place. Went to swim at 4pm on Saturday and the pool was closed!

Fantastic experience: As a gym member, this is one of the best gym memberships going. Staff always on hand to help. The equipment and rooms are regularly cleaned. Always a friendly and welcoming environment for service users of all capabilities.

Positive experience: No viewing gallery to keep eye on kids swimming. Compared to other centres this was quite unwelcoming. No cafe or nice seating area. Upstairs over looked pool but very awkward layout

Fantastic experience: D l.C has something for everyone but my favourite facility is the vitality health suite. Vitality pool,steam room, and heated stone bed lounger & Sauna. The staff go out of their way to help and always pleasant.

Positive experience: Have travelled from Ballynahinch on four occasions and the jacuzzi was not in operation. What are we paying membership for??

Fantastic experience: Hot dang, great place to work out, use the pool, sauna, and steamroom. I havent been to any classes yet but they have a wide variety.

Negative experience: Called ahead and asked about using the pool on a Friday night and was told it was fine. Rocked up on a Friday night and was told it was booked every Friday night!!

Positive experience: Good facilities and very accessible. Would get a higher score if the swimming pool had specific lane swimming as it is often impossible to swim lengths as children block the shallow end and use the.pool as a play pool and not for swimming.

Positive experience: Baby pool is always closed off.. managed to get in with the kids but no floats or anything available they've hundreds in the store and when I asked staff they said "no sorry".. as for the lifeguards they make you feel uneasy like i understand they need to be watching everyone to keep people safe but i felt religiously stared at when there was people actually messing about.. Nice facilities but they need to start an fully open the baby pool it can't always be closed off an everyone's crammed into one end.. bare in mind this is when the kids training had stopped they still kept it closed the whole time.. Took the kids in at 1 to be told no you'll have to wait till 1.30 so tried to distract the kids as they were so eager to go.. went back in at 1.30 then told no it's staff training till 2 then something else.. just completely messed about.. kids was so disappointed like why not say in the first place all these time slots don't suit but instead had us waiting around like doughnuts. Very frustrating place but once youre actually in the pool it's not too bad, if you can tolerate the creepy lifeguards..

Positive experience: The staff are not that helpful, maybe it's due to the systems they have to use, but not everything is coivds fault, if the answer to everything is "it's on the app" then what the point of them being here, just want to book in to use the equipment. No one in the pool Everytime I come in yet there all booked up. Maybe people are booking them and not showing up, great for the leisure centre as they get the money but the rest of us can't get in.

Positive experience: Was told on phone to book then they will allocate me a locker! Turns out it was a cubicle they allocate you! Went to said cubicle and someone in it and again when I went to change. I know its very difficult with all these new measures but there were alot of staff who could probably help monitor it.

Negative experience: My visit was my second time and both experiences wasn't great, I feel the lay out for the health suite from the main pool is odd and not safe with the amount of water in between the door and inside the lift, why not of designed it upstairs next the main gym? It also doesn't seem hygienic with walking into the changing room area with your shoes only to walk back out onto your bare feet with mud which seemed to be everywhere, the bins wasn't much to be desired either, after use of the pool I was disappointed to find out not one hairdryer was working and the worst of all finding out you have to pay for one in the first place is a bit extreme considering you pay enough to get in at the kiosk,why are they not fixed!! I won't be back and going elsewhere

Negative experience: I stand at the customer sevice desk for 4 minutes , waiting to be acknowledge by staff who totally ignore me . They just continue laughing and chat. So rude and poor customers service.

Negative experience: The swimming-pool is clean and cheap, but the lifeguards are constantly on your back to make sure you follow the rules. While I do understand and agree that several rules must be put in place and followed by the swimmers, they now reached a point where you can hardly do anything else than swimming or standing still. A few of those lifeguards can be rude and condescending too.

Positive experience: Equipment and general facilities are all great, but loses a star for the terrible showers. Scalding hot and no way to change the temperature - the last thing you want after a hard training session.

Fantastic experience: This new sports centre has all up to date,always friendly, staff, great equipment, really enjoy going swimming in the new pool too.

Negative experience: Receptionist was very rude towards me and my daughter, really didn't give a great first impression whatsoever. Pool area was small and restricted also, lift to vitality suite was dirty and no signs to show where to go so had to ask a member of staff where to go, they also didn't seem very people friendly.. Such a shame as the building is beautiful and was looking forward to going for so long. Hoping my next visit will be better otherwise I won't be returning. On a positive note, the vitality suite itself is great, steam room and sauna a brilliant size!

Negative experience: I called to see if the gym was open today and I was told it is. When I got there I was then told that they had a staff development day and the whole complex was shut for the day. Poor communication and also when I got there the woman at the reception was very rude. How about you let people know about your changes on opening times somewhere...you don't even have a website which is very poor. Not very impressed!

Fantastic experience: Does everything that I expect from such a centre, the gym is well laid out with a good choice of equipment, the vitality suite is very comfortable and a great place to wind down after the gym or a swim and the pool is lovely and bright although I wish both the pool and the pool area were a little warmer as they ate a little chilly

Negative experience: Bad first experience!! Wasn't happy with counter service, not very informative with where to go. Having to walk into changing facility with shoes on and then bare foot, doesn't seem very hygienic. Very strange setup with the lift up into vitality suite which I couldn't see a sign for, soaking the lift floor which appeared hazardous then to find the Jacuzzi off limits which I shouldn't of had to pay for. Pool a bit small... right next to the kids pool... an adults only or even an adults only day would be appealing.

Negative experience: Poor service, staff is just stupid, ask me everytime if i'm there for introduction :)))) and already a month going every day..... the enter zones don't work with your band access, and you must wait for them to let you enter, the first door in gym for locker room is locked sometimes, why is there then? You must enter in gym, and after enter in locker room :))))) I use only gym, but i need to pay full service with everything included... why? Also, i pay for services and gym is closed for weeks, poor services!
