Hi Iyad, thank you for taking the time to leave us this review. We have recently made slight changes to this area, looking at improving energy efficiency. This is both to control our energy usage, but also with a look to reduce our carbon footprint. By law, we have a requirement to provide a certain amount of fresh air based on occupancy levels, and our ventilation system increases and decreases at different times throughout the day and night, making sure we meet these requirements and provide good air movement around the gyms. These levels are based on size of the gym, and occupancy levels, and are regularly monitored. All member feedback is reviewed, and brought to the attention of our Facilities team, who regularly review any changes we make to our gym facilities and all feedback is taken into account when making any future changes. Negative experience: I came there and they said I cannot use changing room because showers are not working… they said I can go to the hotel nearby to change… lol No email, no information about this, nothing

Positive experience: Great gym but they could do with leaving out some cleaning spray to wipe down equipment- none left out recently and when it is, it's hanging in the bin lol

We developed industry-leading cleaning and hygiene protocols to help keep our members and employees safe during the COVID-19 pandemic, however, with the reduced risk and in line with the Government’s ending of legal restrictions, we have decided to reduce self-cleaning stations in our gyms, which will also support our sustainability objectives by reducing our paper towel waste. We’re proud to say that many of the protocols implemented during lockdown, such as frequent and regular cleaning, and improvements to our air ventilation systems, will continue to be a core part of our TrainSafe Commitment. Fantastic experience: Easily one of the best gyms, loads of equipment and very spacious. My only issue would be with the maintenance of some machines, like leg curl ones that are an easy fix but fot some reason noone seems to bother. Other than that, great gym

Positive experience: I like the PureGym at Hope Street. The one at Bath Street is not nicely organised, has less equipment, and just 3 mats for stretching! In rush hours you forget you gonna use it.

Positive experience: the music played at the upper part of the gym is demotivating and does not encourage workout. PLEASE is it possible to stop this music so that individuals can use their own earpods to listen to their own chosen music? Thanks

Fantastic experience: Nice vibes. Friendly people. 24 hour access. Security cameras, secure entry. Three floors. Ground floor with free weights and loads of equipment. Second with a clean changing room with a clean toilet bathroom, secure lockers. (Carry your personal lock), BMI machine, drinks, protein bar etc. The third one is my favourite equipped with lots of cardio, studio and multi machine. Boosting music with TV, water tap and cleaning stations. Safe environment for everyone regardless of gender, ethnicity etc. They keep announcing how to contact staff in any emergency and fire procedure. Nice app to know the number of visits, diet, classes etc. I haven't interacted with any trainers but they all seem very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Very affordable. No contract. No hidden charges. Whenever you want to quit just stop the direct debit. Simple as that. Overall good value for money and full control of what you want. Can't ask for anymore..... Lucky! I found this gym..

Fantastic experience: I’ve been visiting this gym for a couple of years and it’s always been a bit dirty. However, in the last couple of weeks I’ve noticed a big difference. Today, I saw the manager cleaning and what a difference! This new guy is a marked improvement and you can tell he has high standards.

Negative experience: Plenty of kit/equipment etc. Unfortunately other areas let the gym down, broken lockers, broken showers,showers are usually filthy.

Fantastic experience: I came here and met Sam, one of the trainers, and he helped me set up a membership. There are 3 floors of machines and weights and classes. Very busy when I was there in the morning and afternoon.

Negative experience: Been at Bath Street gym from first day it opened, however, over the past few weeks, the cleanliness of the gents changing rooms is a disgrace, never any toilet paper, no soap in the dispensers, urinals leaking leaving floor wet and slippery , never see anyone generally cleaning or mopping the floor, tonight 27/8, faeces on floor of cubicle, absolutely disgusting, no staff on duty, speaking to other members,,they agreed that the cleanliness of the gym has declined.

Fantastic experience: The gym is conveniently located in the city centre. It has well maintained facilities across its three floors. Sam and John have been extremely helpful and friendly. They went extra mile to make my experiences a lot better.

Positive experience: Gym is decent, it's functional and open 24/7 which is great, only issue is it takes weeks for machines to get fixed and there is never any of the premium water included with the plus membership sadly

Staff do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our equipment providers to ensure that our equipment is fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken. We are equally as disappointed when this happens and sometimes need to wait on engineers but will have all equipment in full working order as soon as is safely possible. If you have any concerns about equipment, please notify staff on site as soon as you can. Yanga water is available in certain clubs as part of purchasing a Plus membership. Fantastic experience: This gym is brilliant, lots of classes for members to attend with lots and lots of room so you don't feel cramped for space when working out. It is incredibly busy so even though there are tonnes of machines and free wright's available, there can be a bit of a wait for certain areas of the gym. However, people are often willing to share and support each other on the machines and will also usually be approachable and keen to help each other develop in their techniques and will freely give advice in a friendly and empowering manner. This is the first gym I've attended that I didn't feel bullied for being overweight.

Fantastic experience: It's great gym great workers good atmosphere as long as u keep safe from the gangsters and gang culture as thy cud abuse the males and females as the gangs are in every gym in Glasgow. Thy assess the gyms and recruit all male and females in the gyms and get them to do different types of jobs .

Positive experience: I'd been using the Puregym on Hope Street for 5 years, I thought I'd change my home gym as things were getting stale and really needed a change of scenery. Besides, walking under that bit beneath Central Station with all the bams gets tiresome very quickly. Totally glad I made the change despite it being a bit more hassle to get to. At Hope st, it feels like you're clambering all over each other but at this gym it feels spacious and roomy in comparison. Great selection of equipment and a few bonus items that weren't available at Hope Street. Changing room is huge in comparison and I'd say the facilities are a lot cleaner as well. Today I walked in and the whole gym just smelt fresh and looked after. All in all it's fantastic value for money, considering choice of equipment, showers, easy 24hr access and loads of classes to boot (not tried them myself) One thing I will say is that because the frontage of the gym is all glass, it's quite warm (in March) and I imagine during the height of the summer it'll be like a greenhouse and a total sweatbox. Edit: I've now given 3 stars as the prone leg curl machine has literally been bust for weeks and weeks now. There's two seated leg curl machines to work your hamstrings but they're rickety as anything and all they'd need is a tighten with an allen key to fix it- pretty pathetic tbh. Still good value but to see things like this really takes the shine off the experience.

Fantastic experience: This is the best gym ive been too, im a daily user of @ least a hour and a half 6 days a week, the staff mostly are superb from the manager down, NEVER to busy too give you a spot or anything, their equipment is some the best there is for this type of gym, honestly would give this specific gym 10/10 if i could, CANNOT fault anyone in there either, NOT just a gym....BUT A FAMILY

Fantastic experience: Great gym & Excellent staff. Very happy with puregym bath street, its big, double up on most equipment, lots of racks, benches & cardio machines. Great wardrobes with private showers. No complaints! Best gym in glasgow for sure

Negative experience: Gym timings not posted anywhere except a tiny sheet of paper in the inside window which was easily missed, managers attitude was poor

Positive experience: Was one the gym to be at during its launch and many years after that but too much competition now. The changing rooms and showers are the worst I have seen from any of the gyms. Each of the shower stall has broken fixtures half hanging out the wall.. Mould growing around walls and glass doors, dirty floors. You leave feeling dirtier than you walked in. Staff have a 'not my job' type of attitude when you raise it with them

Positive experience: Good gym and has very foot equipment and is an enjoyable space. But this one worker most times at the gym always has to add the audacity to add a slick comment about me or my friends.

Fantastic experience: Good gym with almost all equipments. Though they must accomodate more equipments for weight lifting as they have a lot of place for that. On main street. Clean and neat with ample amount of weights and rods. Helpful trainers and they don't bug you like other gyms to get trainer or join this or that program. Peak hours generally are between 7to10 and evening 5 to 8. Membership is lilttle on costlier side. Bring own locks for locker.

Negative experience: After rejoining with a group of friends post coivd. We all got the same offer of £5 per month for the first 3 months. One of our friends we're charged £26 for the first month instead of £5. With the worst customer service. They reply to her messages with 12 hours in between each message. She was offer a credit note if she proved she had an other. No refund not helpful at all. We are not all cancelling our membership and wont be back to any pure gym!
