Fantastic experience: It's a place great swimming pool. gym climbing wall and plenty more and a café. The only downside for me is that there are only three family sized changing rooms. The rest are quite small & hard to get change in them with a small child also. Other than that, it's a great place.

Negative experience: Shocking how dirty and run down the changing facilities are. The male bathrooms/shower area should come with a health warning. Anyone with eyesight needs only check to see what I’m talking about. Will never be back unless they giving out antibiotics when you leave. The management should ashamed of themselves. Staff walking around doing nothing when the place is in this state. Shameful. Bathroom door latches hanging off, I’m sure the sinks should be white the same as the toilets but they are grey with absolute filth.

Negative experience: Absolutely ridiculous that fully paid members cannot use the sauna and steam at these peak times!! This gym is beyond a joke at this point! They also don't turn the sauna and steam in until after this time instead of having it on half nan hour before hand to heat it up for paying members!!

Negative experience: Swimming was reduced to one small section of pool due to lessons.. there wasn't room to move let alone swim. No soap in the bathroom, toilet tissue in steam room, no feedback forms available at the reception. People changing in the toilets.. just will not b back

Negative experience: Management'of pool time table is a joke, there used to be good access to the lane swimming, especially the 6pm sessions used to be ever evening, but we're slowly pushed out now today some mupoet decided to cancel them completly to make way for more family swimming it's 6pm most familys are having their dinner.

Positive experience: I wasn't there to use the sporting facilities, so I can't comment on those. I was at a BT information session on the discontinuation of landlines.

Fantastic experience: Parked here for the waterside half marathon, friendly staff and good facilities for changing.

Fantastic experience: Only used the climbing facilities. One of the best climbing wall in NI. There is a nice mix of climb available meaning something everyone. There are a few auto belay set up, some ropes already set up, opportunities for lead climbing and a bouldering wall. We brought our own shoes harness and belay so the fee was only £5/person for up to 4 hours of use. All routes are graded so you can easily find what you are looking for. We had to do a "test" to be signed off (checking your skills to make sure you can use the wall independently) When we were there, there was a group of children led by an instructor (guessing a birthday party) Also nice walk beside the arena.

Fantastic experience: First time visiting the Foyle climbing wall. Induction process was smooth, staff knowlegiable and professional. Entry EXTREMELY affordable. A fun and engaging wall, with top rope and auto-belay routes to suit all skill levels. The guy in charge sorted us out with a spare rope as we didn't bring our own - very accommodating and friendly. Top marks for the playlist too! Overall a very positive experience and will certainly be back.

Positive experience: I played badminton there and my review is about that specifically. 1. Go for it. They have a very bright, properly marked wooden court, and at a very affordable price. 2. The amenities are good. Restrooms, refreshments (paid), car parking and access to the location. 3. The lighting is put on top and not the sides. Play with a shuttle other than white colour, else the shuttle sort of disappears when you look up for picking the high ones. 4. The phone signal is bit poor in the shuttle court. I have eir and not sure if it’s specific to it. So be aware of it if you expect calls. Overall we had fun and loved the court.

Fantastic experience: This place is impressive! The first thing you notice when you walk in are the many climbing walls - of varying levels of difficulty. Beautifully designed and professionally managed. I didn't worry that my grandsons were regulars on it. Then there are the 3 swimming pools! Toddler to Olympic size. Weight room. Party rooms. Indoor and outdoor soccer fields. Too much for me to go on. Visit!

Fantastic experience: Went here with a client with id n was amazed at the help n understanding we got from the staff it was amazing He needed to use the lift to get in the pool and the young girl n boy on duty were there to attend to his needs we will definitely b back n will recommend the foyle arena to everyone we know thank u guys u do a great job xx

Fantastic experience: Great range of facilities for a range of activities. There is a climbing wall, cafe, swimming pool, gym, halls for a range of activities and outdoor toilets too! Parking is available at the main car park on entrance, which can become really busy though.

Negative experience: Receptionist rude and was giving me the absolute bare minimum information. Website is shockingly bad and is really hard to find basic information such as pool timetables. It’s a modern building and some of the other facilities look decent but the pool is fairly small so gets busy quickly. The sauna is broken but they still charge the full health suite fee. On top of this there were plenty of people who hadn’t paid for the health suite using the steam room. Eventually the steam room stopped working. Edit: they have uploaded clear PDF swimming times on the website which is a welcome addition.

Negative experience: Great pool ect but every time we take are small baby to the "baby pool' theres about 30 to 40 children in at that are way to big and need to be told it's for baby's only, if u want to teach your 10 year old to swim then Go use the large main pool that has been raised at the deep end, be nice if the staff was strict on this so when my baby. An enjoy the baby pool' with out so kid dive bombing in the pool, tryed to take my small baby to the empty main pool and her lips turned blue she was that cold

Negative experience: Been going to this gym and wall climbing for over a year now weekly. However, yesterday at the gym I was using two machines as normal. A man had the cheek to come over and ask how much longer I would be on a machine as soon as I started using it. As if things couldn't get any worst!! An attention seeker blonde girl comes into the gym and walks around the machine as I start to use it. She then decides to come back over seconds later just as I sit down to say "Am I done", Nothing else. Just have zero manners and think they have higher priority because there on dreamland. She walks away looking like to gorilla. Arrogant self-obsessed witch. Ruined my experience here. Update - Certain staff members at reception are also as rude as you would get, as far from helpful, lack in professionalism and are rude face-to-face. Good at ignoring emails also. My membership here will be cut short soon by myself and I will seek a better more professional activity centre somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: The best equipped gym in the town - top drawer calibrated bars and weights, 2 incredible Hammer Strength power racks. Loads of modern, cutting-edge, clean equipment in a family friendly environment. A lot of money has gone into it and it shows. It's light, airy, open, plenty of space, great staff and a safe, inclusive space with people of all disciplines, ages and abilities.

Positive experience: jack that works in the gyms zumba class is excellent but the 1 on 1 wrestlings a bit awkward and not sure its even a real class..but overall a good place to go too

Negative experience: Any time you want to go for a swim, there is always one excuse or another to refuse you. I am expecting to be told next time, " Oh, sorry, but on Tuesdays, we only allow people who wear glasses and have one leg." At Lisnagelvin was 10 times the facility as you could actually get to use it when you wanted to. This place is a waste of ratepayers' money.

Positive experience: Fantastic new facilities that are already showing signs of wear and tear. Unfortunately there isn't attention to detail in getting them fixed up. It is very cheap making it very accessible which is great. Very family friendly, perhaps too much so, not enough swimming slots for people looking to swim and yet the facilities would support multiple usages. Online booking of slots is not well supported and staff don't seem to concerned/interested in solving problems with the IT. Parking is a nightmare, no attempt to connect it up to active travel or public transport unfortunately making the car situation worse.

Fantastic experience: I have been here many times travelling up from Belfast visiting the in laws mostly but also judo competitions. It's an amazing place for any sporting event. Excellent seating with seats for a large number of people. We always have a swim and sauna here. It's never too packed and the sauna / steam is top notch. To sum up. One of the best Sports Facilities in the country. Today my son won a Silver in judo in the Northern Ireland Open. So proud

Fantastic experience: I had a pleasant experience at the arena when I had my jab. The staff were polite and highly organized. I did not have to wait long on queue which is favorable for me because I was from a long, gruelling 12 hour night shift.

Fantastic experience: Went swimming, very clean and staff are attentive and polite. There is a decent sized main pool and a separate kiddy/learner pool off to the side. Writing this in covid times so it's necessary to book in advance. Also had a cool looking climbing wall if you are into that. There's also a gym. It's right beside St Columbus park which is great for a walk or a run. There is also a cafe and a playground in the park.

Positive experience: Fairly clean (which is good during the current covid crisis) and fairly empty (also good) but no showers yet and a bit disorganized overall.
