Positive experience: good gym for chatteris

Positive experience: Community gym, staff, and locals are lovely. I train off peak as much as possible as it isn't massive but has everything you need. They've done really well with what space they have, I've been told that on peak, it can be difficult. Dumbells up to 40kg.

Negative experience: Extremely overpriced for such a small gym and so little machine availability. 10 pounds one session is almost as much as some gyms charge monthly. Ridiculous place.

Negative experience: Size of the gym is honestly quite shocking for what you ppm. £480 per year is ridiculous, given that the gyms I've trained at this price have waiting lists to keep a decent space within the gym. All well and good to have everyone want to be healthy, but building a realistic goal in mind for expansion is very much needed.

Fantastic experience: A well equipped gym for a wide range of goals and long term fitness. Staff/coaches are very friendly and helpful, always greeting you when you enter and if you're new to the gym scene you can have an introduction with one of them to be shown how to use equipment and help you work towards your goals. Membership covers multiple gyms: Chatteris, March, Wisbech and Whittlesey I believe. Chatteris is the only one that doesn't have a swimming pool unfortunately.

Positive experience: Good gym with decent equipment. Only downside is the amount of youngsters that go there and spend half their time chatting and on their phones on the equipment rather than working out, makes fitting in your own workout pretty hard!

Fantastic experience: First time at Chatteris Leisure Centre. The staff were very friendly on arrival and explained where to go and what to do. Took the body pump class which was hard work but great.

Positive experience: Good facilities and excellent 3g football pitches. Though the entrance and carpark let this leisure centre down greatly. The way in is reminiscent of a old style rubbish dump tip or scrap yard. Road un made, uneven, pot holes everywhere. First impressions and all that. A bit of money could be well spent here in my opinion.
