Fantastic experience: really good gym, friendly and welcoming staff, good place to train

Fantastic experience: This is the perfect gym for me. I joined to get help with a running injury, and they have a great physio and multiple personal trainers plus varied daily classes that you are so welcomed to join. I love the bikes and treadmills with internet and big screens, live classes and recorded favourites. The free weights area is really well stocked too, it's the best value gym and so friendly too.

Fantastic experience: I’m a local to the area and RX is the best gym in the neighbourhood. It’s not a pretentious gym which I love. The owners are wonderful all staff are friendly and helpful. It has all the equipment I need. It’s the place that keeps me motivated and fit daily.

Positive experience: A great little gym, no annoying shouting people and in a great area. It's got some of the best treadmills I've been on before. Would definitely recommend, it's also only £35 per month.

An excellent range of equipment. A real inclusive mix of gym goers. I cannot recommend this gym highly enough. Thank you to all staff as it has really made a massive difference to my fitness and well being. Great place. Wish I joined earlier.

Negative experience: I was really disappointed with the equipment. I found that the bike wouldn't connect with my Bluetooth headphones and would lose wifi in the middle of a spin class and freeze up . I know it's a privealged problem but I expected that it would work . I was so excited to join and this was because of the new car cardio equipment but was just gutted that it had so many issues .

Fantastic experience: Having been a member for 3 years I couldn't recommend the facility highly enough. The staff are knowledgeable and professional and the CrossFit classes have been brilliant from day one.

Fantastic experience: Access to two gyms when choosing the cross fit Option. Friendly, experienced staff, excellent equipment, fully functional and clean. An array of classes spread across the day enabling the busiest of people to attend.

Negative experience: Myself and my boyfriend were a member of this gym, we enjoyed our time at the gym and the atmosphere was great with a brilliant group of trainers. Due to the small space but high member volumes we left. I had a number of issues when leaving, I was told I had to give 30 days notice and the following month would be be taken from my account but 27 days would be refunded as I only owed for 3 days (very bizarre protocol). I gave my notice in february and it took until the end of may for me to get my refund. Covid cannot be blamed here as I should have had the refund at the start of March before lock down. Another fustrating point is my boyfriend and friend who had the same contract as me were told they didn't have to pay for March and wait for a refund! So it isn't even a consistent rule. I kept pointing this out but this was never actually addressed. It took a lot of nagging and emails for me to get my money back 2 months later. I don't think the atmosphere in this gym will be the same now with most of the trainers leaving due to them no longer being allowed to be self employed and make as much money from their client base that they have built up themselves. I was actually appalled that a gym that maintains they are family run and see all the staff as there family would do that to their long term trainers who are the reason then gym is so successful. Im sure they have moved onto bigger and brighter things though.

Positive experience: My favourite place to train in the city. Laid back, "get it done" atmosphere with really friendly and knowledgable coaches. Only downside is that you can't drop weights so you can't lift really heavy, but they do have a box so you can join that instead, if you want to properly lift.

Fantastic experience: I am not a massive enthusiast of sharing my opinion or getting involved in public on this kind of apps but unfortunately I came across this afternoon with a message that really upset me and I couldn't stop myself from getting involved. Sports and gymnastics have been part of my life since I was very young, however a bad knee injury, specifically a meniscus tear, stopped me from exercising for a while. I've been working on my knee recovery for years with the help of physiotherapists and neuromuscular electrical stimulation to manage to control the pain and swelling. However, couldn't go back to dancing without a knee support and pain killers. Despite all of these treatments , my knee gradually has bec become more stiff and swollen till the point that the doctor told me I should undergo surgery. Luckily enough, Samuel Marland came across one day while I was training at the gym and offered me some support and free advice. We've been training together since then and I managed to get back normal range of motion to the knee focusing on improving the strength in the muscles that support the knee and that was the clue for my recovery. He always has been there supporting me and encouraging me to carry on and to not give up as it's quite a long journey to go through. But only good things in life come with effort and time so please don't let that this kind of negative and critical messages from other person post let you doubt or lose trust on Sam and this wonderful team. Positive experience: Good gym, knowledgeable staff and a free PT session per month. Only problem is the gym is very small, often hard to get on equipment and move around due to classes and too many people.

Fantastic experience: Great gym! Well staffed excellent classes and PT instructors. Good free weights and machines available. Can get busy.

Negative experience: Never subscribe to the Gym after a visit where I had to live my details to have a look at it , I have bee Continuously harrased with their bloody promotional text...To unsubscribe I also had to text to an 88802 number and get charge for it ...absolutly redicoulouse!!! I can only immagine whar is gonna happen to someone that don't wonna renovate the membership

Fantastic experience: I've been a member for little over a year and by far the best gym I've ever joined. It goes without saying the coaches and classes are next level but the difference here is the community. I've made some great friends and there's always someone to encourage and cheer you on. I'd call it my 2nd home!

Fantastic experience: An excellent gym with welcoming, obliging and encouraging staff. Manages to cater for an impressive range of abilities, from relative newcomers (of which I am one) up to and including very experienced athletes and every conceivable stage in between. Facilities are impressive and the atmosphere is consistently engaging. In particular, the latter has developed and actively fostered a love of fitness in me and has helped me to achieve things I never thought possible. PTs are excellent and competent; they also run an impressive range of fitness classes (marked according to degree of exertion) which are well organised and impressively structured. The overall standard of administration is also very professional. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Having recently joined the gym I'm really enjoying the inclusive experience and varied classes provided by the staff. All of the trainers are motivated to help you achieve your fitness goals. A breath of fresh air compared to some of the gyms I've been a member of in the past.

Fantastic experience: I've been a member @ RX for approximately 12 months now and switching to this gym from a large commercial gym has been the best decision of my life. The in house training team is highly qualified and every member of the team is approachable and always willing to help and offer advice when needed. The vibe of the gym is friendly and not intimidating, albeit the classes and facilities are top notch. This is a Hybrid gym that also offers crossfit if you're interested in trying something new and challenging, but want the best of both worlds - to be a member of the crossfit community but also have access to other classes such as HIIT, Spin, Bootcamps etc.. Cannot rate this place highly enough. Well done guys... Keep doing what you do...
