Prescot Gym & Soccer Centre (by Volair)

Fantastic experience: Very convenient and very friendly and helpful staff.

Positive experience: I've been a member at volair for a few months now and I have used the prescot gym a good few times. Honestly If you goal is weight loss and cardio the prescot one will work nice for you as it offers a range of cardio equipment such as rowing machines, stepmasters, treadmills and exercise bikes. But as a bodybuilder this gym is very beginner level the gym is very compact and there's not a huge range or machines also the dumbells only go up to 30kg and machines such as the incline press and leg press are very low weight. For the price starting at just £26 I belive a month If your beginner and it's convenient for you and you live nearby you can't complain. I would love to see some new equipment or a extension onto this gym however.

Positive experience: Only use for the gym, which is quite good if not a bit pricey for how much is on offer. It's a small gym so there's not loads of equipment, enough to do the basics but not much else. Staff are always very friendly

Negative experience: Just dropped my 14 year old son off to join his mates on the astro at 3.15pm They want to close at 4pm so fair enough if it was another pitch booking. however he was joining a game that was already being played that was due to finish at 4pm. He was turned away to walk home on his own. Its not okay turn young people away who were willing to pay and enjoy the facility and follow the rules. The person who turned him away needs to question their motives. There is always one, and the management need to be aware.

Positive experience: Great place for football, only downside no one was informed about kids football cancelled on a Saturday morning so now travelling over Liverpool to play remaining fixtures

Negative experience: Every pitch has holes in the ground which quite a few players have twisted the ankles and nets have holes in which makes the ball end up on top of the net after some bad shots.

Negative experience: Very bad service staff members are picky on last entry times and don’t let certain people on for no reason

Positive experience: Been playing on here for a while now. Indoor facilities are clean. Plenty of pitches available but the wear and tear on them is becoming an issue. Someone is going to get hurt. Also had to change pitches recently because the lights weren't working.

Positive experience: Great facilities, would of give it 5 but when matches are on it get really busy, so nowhere to park. I recommend that you get there early and do not park on the main road directly outside as the local constabulary will hand out a ticket for people parking on the pavement.

Positive experience: Booked for a walk through test but was advised just to drive round and get a test, done by myself rather than someone else taking it for me. Unfortunately seem rather disorganized! Test result came in 24 hours though

Positive experience: Nice little gym. Could deffinately do with being bigger and having more machines etc but for an average gym user they probably have lots of things you would want. If your a heavy lifter though you will want more options with weights and machines. changing facilities are good and sauna adds a nice touch

Fantastic experience: I go for the gym, it is small but has everything needed for a good workout. Staff are always friendly and great cleaning implements to help keep everybody safe during the pandemic. Car park can be a nightmare when there is a lot of football on so try and avoid arriving on the hour during the evening (the switchover between sessions makes getting in a challenge). Gym membership is reasonably priced and gives you access to Volair's other sites too.

Fantastic experience: Pleasant place to visit, gym not large but suitable for most.Shower area adjacent to changing room small,sauna super.Facilities and apparatus clean,staff near and available if needed.Nice to see numerous young persons using outdoor soccer complex,with supervision.
