Fantastic experience: The fitness classes at AF epsom are fantastic, I attend classes regularly and there is strength, cardio, yoga, Zumba, Pilates and a spin class also. There is a class to suit everyone depending on what type of exercise you enjoy. I have recently been working on improving my strength and so have been attending the circuits class and LBT class, where we use weights. I have become much stronger. There is a great atmosphere and everyone is very friendly at AF Epsom. Come and join in a class and have lots of fun, highly recommend them all.

Fantastic experience: This is an excellent gym: plenty of top-quality machines, racks and free weights; good space; a great vibe and friendly, professional staff. Shower facilities and toilets are always clean and tidy, as is the rest of the gym. For what you pay for membership, one of the best quality gyms I've come across.

Negative experience: Better,bigger gyms around for same price or cheaper

Negative experience: I recently had to cancel my membership for this gym after being a member for years (since it opened in lockdown) and using sporadically, but hardly at all. I emailed the team at AF and informed them that unfortunately due to financial problems I was having to cancel my membership (after I had paid for that month already) I received an email from their customer care team basically saying that I could not simply cancel my membership “anytime” even though that was the appeal when I signed up. I had to pay an extra month? After many emails, not only did they not pause any fees after that date (knowing I am in financial trouble), but they kept totting them up. Seeing their opportunity to make extra money from someone struggling, clearly. I had been in contact with them constantly begging them not to charge any more and they responded with threats to involve debt collection agencies. Knowing this will have an adverse effect on my credit rating and essentially using this as a bullying tactic. They still say that they cannot stop my membership until I pay…. This is a scam! They have now offered a 50% on fees up to nearly £150, which was initially £12? Please really think about joining this gym because they will not show kindness or in fact any human decency if you ever try to cancel! I have told them that I have no choice but to let it go to debt collection because they will allow me set up a payment plan. Not exactly a community gym. Would NOT recommend.

Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend Anytime Fitness enough! The staff absolutely make the gym as they are so kind, helpful and approachable which I have never found in gyms around this price. The equipment is extremely modern and well kept and the classes are incredible. If you are looking for a gym with amazing service, high quality equipment and just more upmarket than the other competition in Epsom, I would 100% recommend Anytime!

Fantastic experience: Anytime Gym is excellent in terms of the facilities, equipment, cleanness and range of classes on offer. All the staff are extremely friendly and personal trainers supportive of members personal goals and journeys. The facilities are open 24 hours which gives great flexibility. If anyone is thinking of joining a local gym I strongly recommend them trying this one.

Fantastic experience: Anytime Fitness has been quite a life-changing experience. I decided I needed to "reset" and not only joined the gym but decided to invest in a PT. Freddie has been brilliant. I originally started PT with him in Feb 2024 and was doubtful as to what I could achieve. I'm still very much on my journey but he pushes me (positively!) and encourages me throughout which I really appreciate. I love that this gym isn't full of muscle-obsessed bodies, just "normal" people working towards their own fitness goals. It has a really nice feel.

The staff here, led by the glorious leader Leah are firm with their commitments to making your experience of the gym as consistent & enjoyable as possible. Whenever anyone asks me about Anytime Fitness i tell them “It’s clean & your favourite piece of equipment is always ready for you (or being very well warmed up for you)” and rack city b, rack rack city…you love not having to wait your whole session for a rack? Yup we love the racks here, I sometimes just like to count them. If it’s just a moment of clarity on the roof terrace you need or perhaps just inspiration by glancing left or right at a fellow member working towards their goals or you just need to flex in the mirrors under the neon lights, you’d be in the right place. This is the welcome that makes AF Epsom feel like a perfectly balanced house of pain that keeps us coming back again and again. Thank you team

Fantastic experience: i recently joined here and have no complaints so far! it is great little gym, very clean, has a nice environment, never too busy and very friendly staff :) all combined it’s definitely great value for money, especially considering my membership allows access all over the world, at anytime of day plus all classes

Fantastic experience: I have been going to anytime fitness for a few weeks now and it’s honestly amazing. The equipment is high quality, everything is organised well, changing rooms are clean as well as the bathrooms and showers. It is an amazing gym especially with all the membership benefits. Even the staff are very generous and have amazing service. If I were to be asked which gym I would recommend it would definitely be anytime fitness.

Being 24 hours makes it’s perfect for all members as you can schedule the gym around all plans. Staff are amazing, welcoming and always trying to keep the gym as clean and aesthetic as possible. Negative experience: I'd give them a 5, but the recent 100% increase on parking fee (£2 per visit) is ridiculous and it inflates the membership fee by 25%+ (if i only use the gym 3-4 times a week).

Fantastic experience: Great gym, clean, tidy, everyone is welcoming and chatty! Leah the manager is great, she showed me around the gym and has answered questions regarding machines and couldn’t think of a better gym to attend. However a small upgrade is a lighting room . Overall it’s worth the price per month and better than the other gyms in the area!

Fantastic experience: I’m a member of this Gym since it opened … and I love it ! Nice staff , very good equipment , and always very clean. Although I don’t live in the area I go the extra mile to keep using this gym ! It’s very busy at peek times and it’s understandable , but it just needs more lockers. Other than that , management is doing a good job and the most important the introduction of new equipment is always very welcome !

Positive experience: Great place, but be careful and read the contract throughly The gym doesn't have loads of windows, but it very comfortable and doesn't have much people usually. Lots of women also

Negative experience: I would give zero stars if I could, I’ve been a member nearly a year always paid on time. I’ve requested a cancellation and they are requesting another month payment for me not using the gym? That’s robbing money makes no sense to me. If you’re not in the position of paying anymore and going through a tough time. Hope I never even stepped on that gym. Staff don’t care about costumers only money!! I won’t be paying anything these terms and conditions are not fair at all with costumers if they have a valid reason for cancelling

Fantastic experience: Decent amount of equipment to cater for all types of training. A great, friendly, enthusiastic team to make you feel welcome and help out when you need it.. CLEAN! I've trained in loads of places and it's refreshing to see a gym tidy and most importantly clean! It's really good to see the team taking their time to clean at different points throughout the day, it would be even better if some of the members put their weights back to help them out, but you can't have everything, right?!

Negative experience: Worst gym group ever with a crooked plan of stealing money,I has cancelled my membership and even came down to speak about it face to face and also send a email but the management desperately tries to find loopholes to steal money saying u need to send emails after reinstating your direct debit to let us know ur cancelling I mean wth , I have been paying for this gym from September to jan for no reason despite cancelling it on Aug end(face to face) 1st,followed by in September again then again on call and by email,further to this I had even askd to pause my membership ship in Aug beginning as I was travelling back and they still didn't do that properly.

Gym itself is very versatile and suits all types of lifters, I'm into bodybuilding and it caters perfectly for my needs. Would recommend!

Fantastic experience: Been going to the Epsom branch for quite a while now - moving away from a different which I used to go to. Great sense of community in this gym and staff always come around to say hello, very courteous and polite. Most people here a regulars and the more you visit, the more friends you make. Definitely a motivating atmosphere and good place to come for exercise. Plenty of equipment too so waiting is minimal.

Fantastic experience: I switched to this gym around 8 months ago and at first it felt weird but now i’ll say hands down one of the better gym experiences for a casual gym goer. the facilities are always clean, the atmosphere is great, the staff are friendly and helpful and the equipment is amazing. I would highly recommend others to come.

Negative experience: Do not come to this gym. They’ll scam you for your money and their cancellation policy is really unfair. The service is really bad, if i can give zero stars i would. Not helpful, unfair and do not care about their customers.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Anytime Fitness in Epsom for over a year now and I really rate it! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Anytime Fitness to any of my friends as a high quality gym with great facilities, and you get the benefit of being able to use the gyms in other locations which is good if you travel. The gym in Epsom has a really good range of equipment - for me what's particularly pleasing is that there are 5 squat racks now, which is much better than a lot of other gyms and you have more chance of doing what you planned when its busy. Its always clean and tidy, the staff are very friendly and its a really nice space to workout in. Grateful to be a member. Thank you!

Negative experience: rigid cancellation policy. Their cancellation policy is unfair . All they care about is the money/subscription. Dishonest gym staff. I would advise that all communication with the gym be documented (possibly via email) as they can deny saying or hearing anything. I wouldn't recommend the gym.

Positive experience: Used this yesterday. A lovely big gym with plenty of equipment. Unfortunately the cardio area was sweltering and if there was any aircon on, it was far too low to feel at all. Ended up leaving having done just half a workout, so disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Joined here a few months ago. Place is nice and clean. Plenty of equipment to use and not too crowded which is a bonus. Nice studio room for use when no classes or sessions in place and they have punch and a kick bag which is not very common in other places I've used in the past. I've not used the shower facilities here as I live within walking distance but normally all clean and tidy. Only issue is I've noticed lockers being damaged but that's not staff fault but more through wear and tear and carelessness. Price point is reasonable and flexible with a few plans to choose from. Staff are always polite and wonderful to talk to. Nothing to complain about.

Negative experience: We were offered a free trial at AF Epsom but their staff insisted that we register first without testing the gym. They told us that because the gym was busy that day, we couldn’t have a trial. However, few days after, they offered again but I had bad experience anyway!

Positive experience: Can only 3 give stars at the moment. I was apprehensive about joining again, but okay so far... Became a member just last year, and I have to say its probably one of the better gyms in the Epsom area. The use of space in the gym, is well organised, along with good quality machines, and the cleanliness of the gym overall is well maintained. The classes are well run, and the instructors are motivating, and generally the staff I have dealt with have been very polite and helpful. The fact they are open 24hrs, is a big bonus for me personally as I work long hours, so the flexibility of checking in and using the facilities at random hours is great. The biggest grip I have with this gym is the difficulty of cancelling your gym membership! I was previously a member of their gym in Raynes Park, and when I was made redundant from my job, and needed to cancel my membership, they refused for weeks on end, and asked to see confirmation of a redundancy letter, which is highly inappropriate, not to mention irrelevant. You cannot ask customers for private information pertaining to a customers finances or financial affordability. It is extremely unprofessional. As a company, you should be more flexible to allow customers to leave if necessary, as with the cost of living crisis, many people will be tightening their belts and cutting back on outgoing costs and expenditures. I have been a member of many other gyms, and your company is the only firm that doesnt allow cancellation.

Fantastic experience: I really really rarely post reviews on Google but I want to give Epsom Anytime Fitness a shout out for the great management of the gym. I have been a founding member and ever since opening the management team have been listening to feedback of its members and trying to make improvements to the gym. In addition, old or faulty equipment is replaced very quickly, new stuff is added regularly and the staff is super nice and friendly. I have tried many other Anytime branches across London as part of my membership but none is even nearly as good as the Epsom branch. Keep up the great work and thank you :)

Negative experience: Confirmed an appointment, I turn up and there’s no one, tried calling the phone and no one answered. Please don’t confirm appointments if there’s no one in the gym. Please respect everyone’s time.

Negative experience: The Epsom Anytime Fitness overcharged me by £80 over half a year ago. I emailed, and called daily and it took 4 months to get this money back. In this time I was not allowed to use the gym and so I had to go to another gym instead. Because of this I told David at the club I wanted to leave and he said that was fine there would be no fees included. When I called back because they said they had refunded me but it then took a further 2 weeks to show up, I reiterated to Andrew at the club I was cancelling my membership and he told me I now had to pay £149.85 to leave after I was told that wasn't the case. Unfortunately then my boyfriend went into Saint George's Hospital with a brain tumour. Because of this I wasn't able to get up to the club to discuss this with them, because of that they then sent a debt collector after me. I tried explaining to the debt collector that I was going up to the hospital every day after work to visit my boyfriend so hadn't had time to get to the club yet and this was left with no response just constant letters. Do NOT use this club, what already was a horrible and stressful time for me was made worse by them massively.

Fantastic experience: Great gym very clean with a large range or equipment! Perfect for the training needs most people are after! Not only that the staff are extremely friendly always happy to help and saying hallo even when busy! Would definitely recommend giving it a try and bring a friend!

Fantastic experience: just joined and this place has the look and feel of a fancy gym, way above their price point! Clean, well maintained equipment, great staff! Lots of little details make this a very attractive option.

Negative experience: I used to go here when it was fitness space. I booked in my complementary PT session. During the session I was injured by the PT and I couldn’t walk for days. Going down the stairs I thought I was going to fall and some of the exercises were dangerous as i have PT friends. The workout felt like some sort of military operation and I was almost dead by the end of it. When i tried to cancel my membership because of lockdown I was told I couldn’t as i was tied in to a contract. I know this place has now changed its name but I wouldn’t ever go back to this place again. If you don’t want to get injured avoid this place
