Fantastic experience: I’ve been doing Amanda’s pole classes for the past year she is an incredible instructor and takes so much time with each student making sure each class whether it is beginner, intermediate or mixed is catered to the variance of levels in those categories. Definitely feel I have progressed so much since starting out. The vibe of the class is so fun and friendly too. I only really do pole classes at life gym but have tried some of the fitness and other aerial classs also and they have been very good with great instructors. I started the pole classes in a different location but love this new gym space - the studios and equipment are really high quality and everything is very clean. Love it here and highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Moved over from Graftism to Life based on its locality & style of class based training. Ruth has been absolutely brilliant with her flexibility around my schedule & the WOD classes have been great for my training. After standard style of training on machines LIFE fitness has brought a new dimension of working out. The equipment is all brand new, well looked after & never in the wrong place. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I was very excited when I heard about LIFE. Having a gym that offers aerial classes, that’s only a short drive away was a game changer for me. Day one and I was already there and signed up. Having been with LIFE for almost 2 months now I must say it’s exceeded my highest expectations. The aerial classes are amazing and great fun. The instructors are 5* and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. If you’ve never tried them you should definitely give them a go. I must warn you though.. they are highly addictive! Amanda and Ellie are the so so amazing at what they do, they’ll have you making pretty shapes and routines in no time. I look forward to trying the other classes too. Now the gym side of it.. honestly I never thought I’d use it much, although the equipment is top notch and the gym is very well stocked. I’ve always hated the gym and often found myself feeling anxious and embarrassed due to the sterile and unfriendly environments of other gyms I’ve been a member of in the past. I’m so glad I took the leap and tried the gym classes too! Instructors are SO knowledgeable and approachable. Crossfit (WOD) is a whole other type of work out and Stuart always makes sure your form is on point. I will forever be grateful to the staff at LIFE for creating such a supportive and friendly environment. I’ve learnt so much in this short period of time and feel so much stronger and confident already. For the first time, I can say I’m excited about my fitness journey. Fantastic experience: A unique and inclusive fitness and well being centre. The owners have worked hard to ensure this is not just another run of the mill gym. Client suggestions, feedback and criticism is taken personally but more importantly, acted upon. I can't wait to see how this venture evolves but in the meantime will just keep hanging around in the ariel studio.

Fantastic experience: As someone who has attended many classes at LIFE, I can honestly so I am very impressed with the professionalism of staff, cleanliness of the venue and the wide variety of classes to get involved in. I originally joined to continue practicing pole, but I now am able to access other aerial classes such as hoop, aerial yoga, silks and hammock, which are all now my new favourites. Although I was nervous to start a new skill, the beginner classes are well taught and feel accessible. At the same time, the intermediate pole classes are challenging me to develop my skills further. I have also had the opportunity to try out some of the other LIFE classes, all of which had extremely friendly staff who made me feel welcome. All instructors seem to have found the balance between pushing us to do better whilst still making the class enjoyable. One thing I have yet to try in the sauna! Which I will frequent at in the upcoming weeks. Overall, I would 100% recommend LIFE, not only because of its classes, but also because of the people who attend. Everyone is very supportive and I have made some great friends here. Not to forget that with the unlimited membership the classes end up being really cheap/good value!

Fantastic experience: LIFE is a fantastic place to find a love for fitness. The team are really driven, enthusiastic and invested in their disciplines and their students progress. If your looking to find a place to keep fit that's not your regular gym then LIFE is for you. They have a wide range of incredible classes from Aerial disciplines to RPM, body combat crossfit and more. The Gym is well equipped and spacious allowing PTs to work the clients hard!

Negative experience: I wasn’t at all impressed. This gym has potential to be great but it really needs a lot of work. I came to LIFE two weeks after it had opened and I was looking to join as a Platinum member. Their equipment and classes are good but here is what isn’t good …. OPENING HOURS - their opening hours are all over the place and not convenient for anyone who works 9-5. I was told the gym runs when there are classes on (most days classes finished around 5/6ish sometimes even earlier). They were also closed for over a week in December. PRICES - are ridiculous for what you get! £65 a month and you can only use the gym 4 times in 30 days or 2 if you’re doing a Ariel class. For £120 you can do all the classes and use the gym but only whilst it’s open for a few hours during the day. For this type of price you’d expect lots of classes running throughout the whole day and to use the gym as many times as you like. ATMOSPHERE- There is no receptionist, no number to call for your queries, I didn’t see anyone on the floor to supervise or assist. If no one is using the gym the lights are off in the main area downstairs. On the day I came to sign up, there was a trainer with a client and no one else to help so I had to wait for someone else to come and discuss the membership. When she arrived 15 minutes later she had come to the gym with her son, who was running around and playing whilst we were trying to talk (I understand sometimes this can happen) however it’s very unprofessional. No other gym would ever allow this and ESPECIALLY with the price of £120 a month I wouldn’t expect this from a gym! It’s just not on. THEIR PHILOSOPHY- “Were not a conventional gym”. Their definitely not conventional, convenient or fairly priced! I had really high hopes for this gym as it offered a mix of classes and a gym, sadly it turned out to be just overpriced and poorly managed. When I tried to explain the reasons for not wanting to continue the membership, my response fell on death ears. The response was the same “we’re not a conventional gym….” Conclusion, I wouldn’t waste your money on this gym. Like I said, it has a lot of potential and A LOT to learn but until then it’s just a waste.

Negative experience: I really like the gym set-up, the number of squat racks was perfect and I was considering a membership but I feel like monthly cost is just subsidising the more superfluous features of the place.

Fantastic experience: Clean, well equipped beautiful new facilities. Well affordable class passes from cross fit, boxing to Ariel. Tutors have incredible knowledge and passion for fitness!

Fantastic experience: State of the art facilities. PT's are experienced and skillful and will help achieve your goals in no time! As a regular customer, i can personally vouch for this. I have never felt as healthy and fit in my entire life as I do now!
