Fantastic experience: with the friendly, chatty staff and the clean, working facilities I have to give this place a 5 star! Saying that, the showers are scaldingly hot, if they reduce the temperature 8 degrees, they could help the planet and pull less money from the council!

Fantastic experience: Bridport Leisure Centre offer a huge range of classes and facilities. The staff are always helpful and polite. I have attended BLC for many years for many reasons. Most recently to take my daughter to the Discovery Ducklings swim classes which she absolutely loves.

Fantastic experience: Stayed in Bridport for a week and used the swimming pool twice, it's clean and well maintained.

Positive experience: I would rate higher but for the fact they don't have their swim item prices easily identified - swim goggles for instance + I found their prices quick high

Positive experience: Very busy place. Bit disappointed with the cleanliness. No one appears to clean the first floor pool area and the ground floor toilet was awful.

Negative experience: Swimming pool changing rooms are incredibly run down and really detracts from the great gym facilities. The changing rooms floors need a good clean!

Fantastic experience: What a great leisure centre joined on a temporary/Holiday membership for a week, the staff are very friendly and helpful the centre is very clean and has so much on offer for all ages and disabilities,I found the gym top class state of the art equipment and instructors very helpful. I would recommend this centre to anyone really good

Positive experience: Didn't go inside as I was watching the rugby 10's comp. Carpark is free and I saw a couple of electric charging points.

Positive experience: Came to a family fun swim session in the week - but was surprised that such a busy pool facility doesn't have any family-friendly changing facilities? The men's changing rooms were far too noisy and boisterous (football chants and clothes being thrown around) for my young daughter, which really surprised me having been to numerous pools around the country.

Positive experience: Had a lovely time with my family using both pools. Very impressed how you don't have to book the open swimming sessions or that there is no time limit on the session.!

Fantastic experience: Very cheap swimming. Nice pool, changing rooms etc. I've not used the other amenities. I like the place, our daughter has been doing swimming lessons there for about a year. I go swimming at the same time more than often

Fantastic experience: Why do they call them 'Leisure Centres'? There's nothing leisurely about them! They involve pain, hard work and sweat! I shouldn't complain, I'm using the fitness suite for just that reason. Very glad it's still going - it's clean, well organised and the Suite has invested in a full range of new equipment.

Fantastic experience: We were greated with a beautiful smile by a blond lady. That was really friendly and helpful:) The facilities were really good and clean. The toilets and the showers were really over the top and roomy.

Fantastic experience: We use the centre for swimming having moved to the area in August. Today we had our daughters 6th Birthday party there. The bouncy castle and soft play was brilliant. The duty manager Carlos put as at ease, nothing was too much trouble and it was just a great experience and good value. Will be keen to try more services at the centre soon. Well done to the team

Fantastic experience: Very well organised. Numbers admitted are now regulated, booking an hour slot works well. I found it much more enjoyable than it used to be.

Fantastic experience: I love Bridport Leisure Centre, clean upgraded environment, really helpful staff. Full gym and swimming pool, and many other classes and functions. Just missing jacuzzi/ steam/ sauna that would make it complete. I always feel good after I have been here. No cafe, but coffee machines and a small selection of crisps and snacks. Mike Smith

Positive experience: Excellent location for a child's Birthday celebration. Bouncy castle available and tables/chairs for a small party. Very friendly staff and most importantly reasonably priced.

Fantastic experience: Excellent Leisure Centre. The only place in Bridport to charge up an Electric Car, because it has two reliable Instavolt Rapid Chargers near the entrance. Head down South Street and turn right at the traffic lights outside Morrisons. The Leisure Centre is on the left, past the old mill and the football club.

Positive experience: We had Mia's 5th birthday party here with the bouncy castle etc.. Had to ask for help as the castle wasn't inflating properly ( twisted at the back). Otherwise good place to have a children's party.

Negative experience: Customer service should be better. Arrived for public swim at 2pm to be told it was booked for private event for 1 hour. Returned at 3pm & then told customers would be told to get out at 3.45 for swimming lesson prep. Shame this was not mentioned at the first visit as we would not have bothered. On a positive, the pool is clean. Would have liked to use it for longer as would my 2 disappointed children.

Fantastic experience: Had my first ducklings drop in with my little boy. First of all he did not like it but after the teacher got balls and watering cans out. He was hooked. He enjoyed the songs and dancing in the water. And he wants to do it again next week. Good lesson and friendly staff.

Fantastic experience: Lovely clean Leisure Centre. Amazingly awesome friendly staff. They have also been trained in Autism Awareness to help support people with Autism and have an Autism friendly swim hour.

Fantastic experience: Lovely pool and gym facilities. I lost 10.5 stone here! (Obviously not on this one visit...) The kids have swimming lessons here and love them. Great coaches and a nice warm pool. Changing and toilet facilities are well tended and nice and clean.
