Positive experience: Fantastic gym but quite rude staff.

Negative experience: Absolutely terrible been charged over 200 pound just because there's this silly little rule that you have to give them a 30 day notice before you leave the gym... like mate I dont work for you I'm a member of your club in otherwords this rule only exists is so the onegym team can squeeze another 30 pound out of you don't come here unless you like getting robbed

Fantastic experience: First time here … nice vibes. Visited the gym around 10pm, not busy … Chilled atmosphere with a nice feel. Impressive new equipment which I’ve never used before. Really well maintained. As Arnold says, “I’ll be back!” … There is only Onegym 10 stars

Fantastic experience: I have recently joined one gym and I was really apprehensive. I'm not body confident.....yet!! And was nervous to join. So pleased I have. No need to be self conscious. Everyone just gets on with their own workouts. All the equipment is brilliant. Very clean. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Having not set foot regularly in a gym in over 10 years, I was a little tentative at first but there was no need for me to worry; the atmosphere is very welcoming and friendly. The staff and other gym goers are really chill and I'm yet to see any little radgies peacocking on the weights. I love that the lockers just need a padlock and no coin/token. The cardio machines are dead easy to use, clean, and reliable (I've been to gyms before where there's always that one machine that never works properly ). I even heard some Slipknot on the sound system when my headphones died one time - there's something for everyone

Fantastic experience: Been a member for about 2 months. Gym is spacious and clean and staff are really friendly and approachable especially if needing help with some of the weight machines. Showers and changing rooms are individually lockable rooms. Classes are PT based which are very targeted and even if class is quiet they still take which has been brilliant for me at 6.15am. definitely recommend

Fantastic experience: I really like this gym. It’s clean and tidy. Nice aesthetic. The equipment is high quality. There’s plenty of machines. There’s a boxing section with a few punching bags. Cleaning equipment available. Water tap and a drinks vending machine available too. Decent air con (I prefer freezing cold). It’s 24/7 though staff are only available within the normal working hours. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Access via app. Overall, a great gym. Car park is quite tight but there is a nearby supermarket car park that can be used as well. The changing/locker room is mixed but there are separate cubicles within this for changing/showering. (Personally would prefer separate male/female locker rooms as some lads change near the lockers and it’s a bit awkward/embarrassing when I’m walking past them to go to the separate cubicles.) I think that’s one point for improvement (if possible) but it’s not going to make me mark the review down as everything else is amazing!! I’d recommend joining this gym.

Negative experience: The gym is realy good but I recently tried to cancel my membership at OneGym Wallsend due to relocating to a different town, and I found the process to be more challenging than expected. Despite my explanation of the situation, I had to provide extensive proof of relocation, which felt unnecessary given my circumstances. The back-and-forth communication was frustrating, and I felt the staff could have been more understanding and helpful from the start. While they eventually processed my cancellation after I provided the required documentation, the overall experience left me feeling disappointed with their customer service. I hope they improve their approach in the future. I initially left a 3-star review, but after receiving a response from the gym, I am compelled to update my rating to 1 star. The gym's response to my concerns was dismissive and unhelpful. They stated, "We treat all of our members the same. We simply asked for evidence that proves your relocation," which I found to be an unsatisfactory response to my situation. The cancellation process was neither clear nor straightforward, as claimed by the gym. Their lack of willingness to address my concerns or offer any meaningful assistance was disappointing. I expected a more empathetic and customer-focused approach, but instead, I felt like my concerns were brushed aside. I would not recommend this gym based on their customer service experience and inability to address issues professionally.

Fantastic experience: Great gym and the people that work there are very nice . They are great at cleaning ever time I go in there always cleaning or giving out good advice. Well done :-)

Fantastic experience: Great gym. Lots of equipment which is regularly cleaned. Staff are friendly and helpful too. Great for classes, and open 24/7 if you just want to hit the machines. Staff are available for PTs too. Cards are on the desk. All happy to help

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym very knowledgeable staff very welcoming and the machines are brilliantly placed and set up. Would recommend anyone to join and the added free classes and the fact its 24hours is a complete bonus

Fantastic experience: all equipment is high quality, the place is clean, staff are friendly, good variety of classes, it’s open 24/7, great music, air con is amazing, there is free parking and it’s very close to wallsend metro. ONE GYM IS THE BEST ❤️

Fantastic experience: Well impressed, great atmosphere, great machines. Brilliant being 24/7 that's fits in with my busy lifestyle. Honestly the kit is amazing. I been suffering with a rotator cuff injury since October 2023. Since training at 1gym for three weeks now ,hitting shoulders from many angles with variety of machines and free weights my shoulder is feeling a lot better and smashing my shoulder workouts The choice of machines is spectacular. Highly recommend

Negative experience: Absolutely apauling customer service and rude staff. When I signed up I told you of when I'd be able to pay and you said no problem and agreed to those terms so your reply is very poor considering this. Also it costs nothing to have a good quality of customer service. Something which you've ignored on numerous occasions and that clearly brings to light you don't care about your customers and are only interested in getting as many number through your door as possible ! I completely understand the payment side of things but that's not what my poor review reflects. My review reflects your clear incompetence in dealing with customers and delivering adequate and acceptable customer service. Its not rocket science. Customer values and all that ! If your staff had of been polite and explained this in a professional Manor it would not have come to this. Cancelled membership along with all family and friends and will not be returning. Budget gyms in the area with better customer service ! Reflecting the above I think its you that needs luck for the future! Regards

Fantastic experience: The quality of equipment is really high (Panatta) and staff are great. Plenty of parking and right next to the metro. Atmosphere is good as well.
