Negative experience: Young staff with no experience, hard to believe they told the bride they were going to shut the evening down because they found a bottle not bought in the club,even though the bar was 10 deep all night the beer we provided was wasted as they couldn’t pour it, it would take about 5 minutes to pour a pint and they would top it up with half pints poured before, and now they are refusing to give the deposit back , shame they tried to ruin the day

Negative experience: Booking was made and confirmed for amount of people then told had to drop 50 guests. Hard to contact had to keep turning up. Made an appointment club was closed, there were several different events waiting behind gates. Manager had decided to go on holiday and not inform anyone. Email took 14 days to respond to. Beer we provided was served pourly by inexperienced bar staff. One bar was cash only not told before event. Not enough staff to support. People did bring 4 bottles of alcohol in, not told this was an issue considering we were allowed to provide beer. Was told after bottles were found and threatened to have party shit down. We made several announcements and nobody else drank anything other than what was provided. By club. We were told on the night this would be reason the deposit was forfeited. I explained once this was brought to my attention we dealt with it accordingly it seems harsh as we were told the deposit was for damage. We arrived in the morning to collect remaining beer and was told we couldn’t father said I will be back later then I won’t leave it and the manager accused him of threatening. We arrived again in the afternoon to collect and was told we won’t be getting deposit as people had walked through food that had fallen. We weren’t told about cleaning up on the night, although we did clear the food room, we went round with bin bags and cleared mess ourselves. We were told it was ok and we left. Seems like they will do anything to withhold the deposit no matter what you do .

Fantastic experience: My relatives booked their function room for their 50th anniversary. It's a great room with a bar and large tables perfect for such functions.

Fantastic experience: We use the cycle track here mostly when they run the special need session on the last Sunday of each month. Our kids love it and get the chance to use specially adapted equipment that gives them access to the activity. We also come to watch family members compete in Junior Athletics competitions. We have been to a few other winter events also (Guy Fawkes Night), which hopefully will resume this year. The facilities and staff are great! We are very lucky to have this in our County.

Positive experience: Great track (book in advance), we used the facilities for British Biathlon Union Training Day… Super friendly staff & great atmosphere. Food & Drink available throughout the day.

Fantastic experience: We used the Sports Bar after my wife’s funeral and all the organisation and hospitality provided was absolutely excellent. We had a great room and the refreshments could not have been better. Thank you so much for everything. I doubt that there is a better place to host functions in Wyre Forest than Stourport Sports Club.

Fantastic experience: Excellent place to have birthday parties or any party our family has used it several times. Convenient place to get too ,plenty of parking space and open space, very clean, bar open for your guests! !!! Alot less hassle than at home !! Just take your own food along and of course they have tables etc. Oh and plenty space outside for bouncy castles.

Positive experience: There to play Hockey, good facilities, 3 pitches, nice club house with well stocked bar, and the away team teas were plentiful and tasty. Changing rooms were clean, and well maintained, though I would have liked warmer water for my post game shower.

Negative experience: The manager told me I could come along at any time 15 minutes before I arrived and I had to wait an hour before being allowed on the track.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant cycle circuit, really testing, clubhouse is very comfortable with good facilities. Staff super friendly and helpful, well worth booking a session for your cycle club.

Fantastic experience: The sports club is always main maintained. The athletics track & hockey pitches are excellent. It's also a good place to hold a function, as the service is good & the people are friendly.

Fantastic experience: Great place, facilities and staff. £1.50 for under 18s to use the track, £3 for adults in an open session. Track route can be shortened on rainy days and is very interesting. Staff are always friendly and helpful. The availability of showers and several changing rooms afterwards is a bonus.

Fantastic experience: This is an excellent venue. It has many different sports facilities, with an excellent licenced bar, with television. My visit here was due to competing in a cycle race, at this Sports complex.
