Fantastic experience: I have a plus membership that enables me to use the gym anytime. The 24/7 availability is so good for me because I work 8-6 weekdays so I use the gym mostly at nights and weekends. My best class has always been the Yoga sessions and it's super cool. I also get to bring a buddy 4 times in a month although I have not used it but it's good to know I have that option. Free hydration and friendly staff always on hand to support and encourage me even when I am so weak and lagging. Highly recommended. It's a 10/10 for me

Positive experience: As a student in uni, If I had to choose between the University Sports Center and Puregym, ofc I will choose Pgym. It's not perfect, but it's suitable enough.

Temperatures/air con in our gyms are automatically regulated by Smart machines, but if there is a persistent issue staff may be able to override it and can certainly report it to be checked by engineers. Fantastic experience: Been using PureGym for a few years now as a plus member I can use multiple gyms so Stirling is my secondary gym as it's on way to work. Has helped me build fitness for an upcoming 6 month hike. Have previously been disappointed by cleanliness of shower, toilets and changing room at Stirling, but walked in tonight and it was all actually immaculate for probably first time since the refurb. I'm guessing changed cleaning company and wow what a difference! Like new again. Equipment all looked like it had a spring clean too although I only observed as used the studio. I love the fitness classes, and space in the studio late at night when classes are not on to do online classes using the weights, and equipment. The class instructors are brilliant, friendly and motivating.

Fantastic experience: I've been coming to the gym for a couple of years now and it has really helped my health and fitness, a massive part of that are the classes run buy the excellent trainers on staff. A special shout out to James and his Wednesday night sweat class which is tough but fun and always leaves you feeling like you've had a good workout, keep it up guys!

Fantastic experience: Took part in my first sweat class with James and Ross. Absolutely brilliant class and I’ve even booked in for another. They were absolutely fantastic throughout the whole class, keeping everyone motivated and supporting us all with our technique. Positive experience: I don't enjoy the gym experience as such, not really my cup of tea. But I went to Valknut's (James) Wednesday functional fitness class at the evening and for someone who does CrossFit weekly I must say, he made me "run" for my money (thankfully was no running involved). I'll be definitely be back as he knows how to push you. James gets 5+ ⭐ the gym itself not so much.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant for both equipment & location. Due to size, even at the busiest of times there is still plenty to use. Everyone is accommodating, will share sets too. Multiple classes choice. Multiple PT choice aswell. I use JJB PT based here, knowledge is amazing, really pushes and makes accountability. Doesn’t over charge like some. Definitely head here if you’re looking for a fitness change.

Positive experience: Have been a member of PureGym for about 2 years. The gym has had an upgrade in the past few months and it looks visibly more fresh and "trendy". Downstairs hosts the free weights, racks and machines. There are now 7 squat racks and 2 smith machines. There has been added an additional Hip Thrust machine, a Seated Row Machine, a rack for all dips/ab exercises, and 2 incline benches (one positive and one negative incline) The 2nd floor has also had done upgrades. There are an additional 2 squat racks, as well as a new circuit area. There are jumping blocks, ropes, more dumbbells, ski and cycle machines, and all previous existing items I can't disk much for the 3rd floor as I'm never up there really, but here you will find most of the treadmills, stair masters and the mirrored studio, which hosts classes. Staff and PT's are friendly and helpful, and cleaning is actively seen to take place which you sometimes don't see in other places. For £20.99 a month, you can't really complain at the choice of machines and classes. The PT options seem expensive so if you're looking for that, you'll definitely find someone. The only negative, which is to be expected, is the number of people. On Monday to Wednesday nights between 5/9 there can be nearly 200 people present, so make sure you're prepared to either: 1) Be patient and wait for equipment 2) Be willing to share between sets 3) Be willing to change your routine overall to accommodate your personal time

Negative experience: Overall a decent gym. It would be nice to have more free weights! However the showers in the changing room are absolutely disgusting. I use the showers early in the morning. I would expect them to be clean at this time however they are covered in hair and the mats are disgusting

Positive experience: I’ve plebes a PureGym user for years and member since the Stirling gym opened. Good gym, good equipment and recent refurbishment has been great. Can we get a couple of punchbags though? That would be good. I returned to the gym after giving up my membership during covid. First thing I noticed was how dirty the place was. This has improved over the refurbishment but as an early morning user sometimes the changing rooms are pretty bogging:

Fantastic experience: Really love going to Puregym, I've now attended 2 of their gyms and the condition has always been immaculate (apart from some renovation work being done in Stirling recently but this was well communicated). Equipment is always working great, the live tracker on the app means I can figure out the best time for me to go so I'm not going in and not able to use equipment. It can get very busy during peak periods which usually means any workout requiring bench or squat rack could be impacted. Good work puregym!

Positive experience: Decent gym with enough kit, going through a refit at the moment and it should look good with new stuff being added. Can get really busy at peak times but it's a 24 hour gym so pick a different time. Bit of a concern though that you can see a PT vaping on the gym floor while working with a client, that shouldn't happen and that is the reason for dropping a star here.

Positive experience: Similar to all other PureGyms. The two flights of stairs will ensure you get the best out of your leg day. Plenty of weights. Only one rack for doing deadlifts. No trap bar. Struggled to find enough clips initially but found them in other areas of the gym. Changing areas were clean and well lit. 2 showers were out of order and the water was scorchingly hot on a 10 second timer (a bit too hot for me). Pretty average as far as PureGyms go.

Positive experience: Хороший спортивний зал, але є декілька нюансів. Це чистота, її в залі не вистачає, особливо в залі із дзеркалами на 3 поверсі. Також дуже голосно лунає музика, яка заважає проводити онлайн тренування з тренером(зробіть її трохи тихіше будь-ласка ). А так взагалі хороший вибір тренажерів і інвентарю.

Positive experience: This is a decent gym with decent equipment for the price (5 stars) but the maintenance & cleanliness is poor (1 star). The rubber handles on most of the cable machine attachments are falling to bits and have been like that since last year - when I asked a manager about it he advised they were looking to get them replaced, but that was about 6 months ago, so it doesn't look like that's going to happen. The showers are pretty grim - the cleaners give them a quick spray & wipe at best - but if you look behind the glass doors, there's a layer of scum on the shower trays which shows how lazy the cleaning actually is. And there's been a piece of chewing gum stuck to a clothes hook for months now - the mouth breather who put it there should be cast into the sea - but it's still a sign of the general poor standard of cleaning that it's remained there for so long. If something so obvious hasn't been noticed, how likely is it that things are actually getting the "deep clean" that the gym posters would have you believe?

Positive experience: Good gym, reasonably priced and equipment is good. However, if you are like myself and like to squat and deadlift, they seem to be severely lacking in this area which is ashame. I still regularly go as the times I go at now is generally ok. But there is nothing more frustrating than an interrupted workout to stand and wait on a squat rack or simply an Olympic bar and a space for deads.

Positive experience: It is what you get. A 24 hour franchise gym. It's too busy and like every pure gym, there are 3 racks which are packed and 30 empty treadmills. Good if you go At night though

Positive experience: If you're just looking for a decent gym to do your workout this one does everything other pure gyms do. It's also close to the city centre and bus station. I took a star off as there's barely any parking outside so I just park nearby and walk there, benches and some other equipment are worn and damaged and needs replaced. Also this gym is spread over 3 floors. So if you're doing legs for example you'll start on the ground floor doing squats etc and for the machines like leg extension you'll need to go upstairs to the first floor. But don't worry there's an elevator just in case

Positive experience: So… very average. I wouldn’t say I hate it but, it definitely could be so much better. The free weights dumbbell section is good, but the benches aren’t very stable and quite close together. More mirrors need to be put in place mainly in the downstairs cable section, aswell as a lot of mirrors on the second floor. The equipment is average, been falling apart recently but I wouldn’t say it annoys me too much. Here’s what they need to make it the best around: more mirrors, get rid half the treadmills on the second floor and get more machines! We desperately need a chest supported T-Bar row! We also need another jack squat, itleast one more squat rack, and another seated row cable machine. Should also get in 2 more benchpresses and another single standing deadlift platform (not as big as the current one) just a small platform with a barbell and weights. It would be awesome to do all these things I’ve said as it would make the gym much better and less waiting times for machines. I will continue to go here still even how it is, but it’s been really annoying me recently how bad it’s becoming. Hopefully pure gym sees this and acts upon it, please please please make something happen, would be awesome

Positive experience: Good Gym. sometimes you might have to wait to jump on to a peace of equipment but never to long. it has got a rough guide to the amount of people in the gym on the app so if you don't like it busy i would look before heading in

Fantastic experience: Great gym, loads of equipment to use that has been kept in great condition. There is also vending machines and changing rooms with lockers if needed. They have cleaning facilities in place to prevent spread of covid. Can't ask for more from a gym, would definitely recommend.
Fantastic experience: Brilliant gym. I tend to go very early so it's never too busy when I'm there. Excellent choice of machines and free weights. There are 3 levels to this gym so the place is absolutely massive. Very reasonably priced considering the size of the place and selection of facilities at hand. Very clean with cleaning stations throughout. Staff and self employed pt's are very welcoming. Cannot recommend this gym highly enough. Download the app and that also gives you live updates on how many people are in so you can plan your visit accordingly.

Negative experience: Didn't like the place one bit would recommend to anyone was pestered by the staff whole time was there when your in a workout zone wanting you to wear a mask when if your a regular gym goer you know if impossible to wear a mask when lifting weights as you need as much air as possible in the lungs to lift weights

Fantastic experience: PureGym Stirling have been absolutely fab since reopening. The gym feels safe and clean, and staff are always walking around, cleaning equipment and ensuring everyone is okay. I have loved being able to visit again, and I have only had positive experiences since they reopened. I recommend this gym to everyone, and I think they are doing a great job at staying on top of the guidelines and ensuring we can all stay active in a comfortable environment.

Fantastic experience: Loving that it's 24 hours on the weekdays now, feels very safe and everyone I see is cleaning their equipment, sanitising and wearing masks in the public areas

Fantastic experience: I just went and did Laura's spin class and I really enjoyed it. 30mins of pure hard work but it was really worth it. Propper good work out.
Positive experience: I'd have given 5 stars, but....Equipment availability is an issue during peak times when there's only a single unit..ie. The only leg extension machine - which is getting on a bit with - the seat and the mechanism both showing their age. Also there is no longer a hand sanitizer station.

Fantastic experience: I love Pure Gym. It's nice and big, you can just keep yourself to yourself. I'm not into doing weights so spend my time upstairs on the bikes. There are nice changing rooms with showers and lockers for safe keeping. There's literally no fault for this place.

Positive experience: Consistently high standards across the PureGym group. Equipment is of an excellent standard and facilities kept clean. Unfortunately the showers don’t last long enough on a single press of the button. Other than that, excellent value for money!
