Fantastic experience: By far the best gym in Southport. It is the cleanest and friendliest gym around with great owners who are willing to listen to their members feedback. The equipment is premium all precor and Jordan for a standard monthly price which is regularly serviced. The member benefits they offer are fantastic, making an effort to keep small local businesses involved aswell as access to big brand discounts. If you like a quieter, friendly gym with top quality equipment, this is the right gym for you !! How anyone can say it is overpriced at a standard rate with everything they offer is beyond me… Amazing quality for price

Negative experience: Extremely overpriced for the size of the gym and the amount of equipment available. They also don't offer rolling monthly memberships at the time of writing this review.

Fantastic experience: Been a member for 6 months and I can honestly say it’s a lovely safe and friendly environment to work out in at any time of night or day. Staff are on hand if you need any help or have questions - they can’t do enough for you. The range of equipment is impressive and I like that they have space to do general floor workouts, Pilates or yoga. So glad I joined up, this gym is so much nicer than regular gyms on the high street. I highly recommend a subscription it’s a reasonable cost and so worth it - you won’t regret it.

Positive experience: At Anytime all the gyms are at a good level of equipment I would say unfortunately wen busy its hard to get a station this gym as 12 hundred members & obviously this gym as not got the capacity to acomadated members , this gym is under close scrutiny servalance 24-7 & monitored by your fob key for clandestine operations.

Negative experience: It’s alright. It’s very expensive for what you get and they don’t care about customer service. Everything is done on the cheap to maximise profit.

Fantastic experience: The clues in the name, Joined here to train around work, good atmosphere. Differnt than most gyms, gym rats, newbies, body builders & athletes mixing & helping each other. How a gym should be.

Fantastic experience: Staying in Southport for a week and needed a gym to go to. Decided to go to this one. Yes, it is for members only but as I’ve travelled over 250 miles they made an acceptation and let me pay for a day. First time being in Southport as an adult and wasn’t sure where the best places to go were. Customer service was amazing, one of the staff members had a walk with me down the road showing me the best places to go for people my age. Very appreciative of that. All in all great service and machines.

Fantastic experience: I joined just recently and I am so glad I did. The induction was the best I have ever had, more like a PT session. Chris has lots of knowledge which he is happy to share. The terms and conditions were pointed out before I signed so I knew what to expect. I enjoyed Diane's LBT class and certainly felt the benefits the next day.!! I look to getting fitter again In what is a friendly,comfortable and professional gym.

Negative experience: Tiny gym, no air conditioning, rip off contracts, unwilling to cease payment upon injury.

Negative experience: I was visiting anytime fitness in Southport for 6 months and it's really small gym so if get busy you can't exercise properly, I didn't like temperature over winter time was only 10 degrees in sorry but its not good for exercising.. also toilets and changing room was always dirty .

Fantastic experience: This is the first gym that I have felt comfortable using. I am a really shy person but the staff and other gym users are helpful, friendly and make you feel at ease. Can not say a bad word about this place and I am happy I joined.

Fantastic experience: I've been using this gym for the past 12months on and off because of the pandemic I can't think of a better place to get fit ,I am 70 years old now but I don't feel out of place there as both staff and customers are always pleasant and friendly with no ego trips, so if you want to get fit in a good gym with plenty of apparatus and a good atmosphere you won't go far wrong at ANYTIME FITNESS.

Negative experience: This gym is difficult to use because of the deafening music pumped into the entire area. I have repeatedly asked for it to be turned down and was told that the amplifier is controlled from London - what rubbish. Simple answer - cancel my membership and join a gym where I don`t have to listen to 90db rave or rap or idiotic excuses from the staff.

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym. Open 24/7 which is great for me. The staff are fantastic and know most if not all customers by name. They are always motivating people and offering help if you need it. Best gym I've been to in a long time

Negative experience: I was a member, joined last Dec. Was mis-sold the membership and it took 3 months to be sorted out. Horrible service, they only cared about getting the monthly fee, not following through on the membership terms I was sold. I've been at DW 9 months, no issues.

Fantastic experience: Great gym! Quality equipment and a friendly motivating environment. Can’t speak highly enough of all the staff who are constantly going out of their way to be helpful , yet still find the energy to be up for a good laugh. Chip and Aimee who are usually in the office when I go in never hesitate to say hi and strike up a conversation. Highly recommend!

Positive experience: Good vibes all the way! Anytime Fitness is not just a gym, the staff makes this place a home; always welcoming you with a smile and a little chat, not just asking “ you’re right?”, but waiting for a reply as well , always positive and upbeat, having brilliant ideas, like the Halloween selfie room or the scare competition . I have to say I am always looking forward to come to the gym and seeing the staff or talking to them, makes my day. I am happy I discovered this gym two years ago

Fantastic experience: Been a member since January 2018 and I can not express how much this gym has helped me through my own little journey. Anytime fitness Southport is more then just a gym. It’s a friendly place to go. The staff are second to none and always have been. And since Aimee took over as manager, herself and Chip have gone above and beyond to make the gym the best possible place for any member to be. Never have I gone to a gym and felt like I had friends in the staff (and other members) The staff door is ALWAYS open and I have never not been greeted by the amazing staff who work there when I come in. They always ask how you are, and on bad days you leave feeling a little better because you don’t expect to have someone to talk to in a gym, the staff are all genuinely interested in the members and how we all are! All staff members have helped me in one way or another with advise and tips, showing me new things or even just having a chat when needed. They are always willing to offer their expertise. I could go on all day/night to write a review about how this is more then just a gym and how all staff members make it such a fantastic place to go. So massive thank you to every member of staff at Anytime fitness Southport. You all help make my time in the gym the best part off the day!

Negative experience: Overpriced

Fantastic experience: I love this place! The staff make you feel so at ease! It is a lovely gym with the best equipment and the classes are amazing! I really can compliment the staff enough though, they are hard working and have always got a smile on their face, nothing is to much for them and they are so friendly (best in southport actually as I have been in a few gyms). I am also over the moon that Aimee is the new manager she will do great things! Anytime fitness is by far the best gym I have been to.

Negative experience: Writing on behalf of my partner who does not want to be named.He signed up for a years membership last April 2018 .Unfortunately over half way during his contract could not find the time for it due to his work pattern.He'd knew he would need to finish paying his contract then be able cancelling it however this is no easy thing!!.1st he went to there gym and they said they cant do it you need to contact there manager via email and they pressured him to say even though he did not want to.Then contacted there manager again she tried to pressure him to stay and made it difficult then in the end gave in However....May 2019 last payment all done cancelled is direct debit with no further payments gets an email from the gym telling him he needs to go in to talk to them as he has done that and now it gets sent to Debt Collectors and messes up his credit score even though he has finished his contract with proof this is just pure bullying and again trying to pressure him if they refused fix this issue it will taken higher up DONT GO WITH THESE BUNCH OF BULLYING SCUM!

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff, lots of strength machines. No deadlift section and only one normal bike for cardio. Very cool studio where you can choose a virtual class to do!
