The Fitness Yard Lisburn

Negative experience: Closed but still charges card, impossible to get in contact with.

Positive experience: The gym is mostly good. Decent sized space. Lots of free weights but a lot of the equipment is a bit tired and frayed. The staff are very nice and chatty - better than most gyms I've been in. The changing rooms and showers are horrific though and it loses a star on the review for them alone. Most of the lockers are broken and the showers are in an abysmal state. Usually it's very quiet and there's no queuing for equipment. It loses another star because the people who use the gym are the absolute worst. I know you get it in every gym but I've never seen so many selfish t%*ts just leave weight plates on bars or machines, or even move benches halfway across the gym floor and just leave them there. You know the type - losers who go to the gym in a beanie hat and have two skinny henchmen in football shirts with them. They also leave padlocks on the few lockers that work overnight preventing anyone else from using them. Overall it's much less busy than PureGym and has far fewer kids in it so I would say prob the best value for money gym in Lisburn but could be a lot better

Positive experience: Great gym. Never overly busy so can always get on the machines, or get the weights you need. Back room is a great addition also with the boxing ring. Could do with classes at a more varied time, and the changing rooms are a law suit waiting to happen with no extractor fans and little ventilation at the showers which is leading to damp/mold. But a good gym in general

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing gym!!! Loads of choice exercise machines and different classes!!! And I really can't wait until the sauna will be open Very nice atmosphere in the gym and very nice and helpful staff there for you
