Fantastic experience: Amazing gym, facilities are fantastic and the classes are even better. Jordan, Nathan and Karen are brilliant staff the classes push you to amazing lengths in an excellent way! The class room is dark as to not feel self conscious. Can’t recommend enough, I’ve lost 5 stone since joining in january and now it’s June!!!! Never ever liked a gym but I’ve fell in love and feel less energetic when I don’t go. Combat ,pump and legs bums and tums class are truly great.

Fantastic experience: Such a friendly gym, classes are good fun and everyone is made to feel at home. The PT’s make an effort to keep the classes engaging and good to see them enjoy it too. Studio floor could do with more frequent cleans and in the summertime the gym is too hot. Apart from that would recommend

Fantastic experience: Excellent facility / equipment, very clean & safe environment for both new & experienced members. The PT's are very friendly & always helpful if unsure on how to use a specific piece of equipment. I've personally struggled to maintain my focus & enjoyment at previous attempts of joining a gym and always stopped going after a month, from a recommendation I've now enjoyed 7 weeks with Cameron helping me as a PT. The end game is to go it alone or reduce the PT sessions, however still got loads to learn & looking forward to each session (& loosing weight & gaining fitness)

Negative experience: Gym in itself is good but the clothing staff (in particular a certain PT) wear is completely unacceptable and borderline lingerie. Needs regulating urgently and a dress code put in as it’s causing me and other users to feel uncomfortable.

Negative experience: I was interested in joining but had a few questions tried calling the number but it just tells you there’s no one to speak to tried messenger but also you’re just trying to outfox a robot to get an answer that you’re looking for. I give up, I’ll just go somewhere else where I can speak to a human.

Positive experience: A couple of separate water/juice spills on floor and not a single cleaning station to clean up after use of equipment. Not courteous gym users, stealing weights and benching in the squat racks is only a couple of issues. Cheap gyms attract cheap people.
Hi Steven, thanks for leaving us this review. PureGym prides itself on being able to offer state of the art fitness facilities to our members in a safe and welcoming environment. We developed industry-leading cleaning and hygiene protocols to help keep our members and employees safe during the COVID-19 pandemic, however, with the reduced risk and in line with the Government’s ending of legal restrictions, we have decided to remove self-cleaning stations in our gyms, which will also support our sustainability objectives by reducing our paper towel waste. We’re proud to say that many of the protocols implemented during lockdown, such as frequent and regular cleaning, and improvements to our air ventilation systems, will continue to be a core part of our TrainSafe Commitment. Fantastic experience: Nice and quiet if you go early in the morning,everyone is very respectful,even if its your first time would highly recommend no judgement to anyone new to the gym and if you need any help you can always ask someone how to do an exercise

Negative experience: no hacksquat, and missing some integral leg work out machines

Negative experience: I used the wipe in this picture below once, on each of the the handles of one elliptical cross trainer and literally nothing else. Equipment is regularly sticky with sweat. I've never been to a gym that doesn't supply anti bac and blue roll for its users. Very few will use it but it gives people the option to workout in a clean space. Inconsistent replies from customer care team, some say there should be cleaning stations others say it's no longer company policy now COVID is "over". I'm not concerned about COVID, I just want to be able to work out in a clean environment without bringing my own antibacterial wipes. My last review was flagged as fake and or innapropriate/spam and removed from being able to be viewed by the public after 3 views. Trust pilot has several reviews that mention standard and cleanliness of equipment but none on Google for some reason....

Fantastic experience: A friendly gym. None of the usual meatheads strutting around intimidating people, helpful staff and plenty of good modern equipment. Even when the app says it's really busy that's usually down to their being a class on.

Positive experience: Use it 2x per week, found it to be clean warm and good range of equipment. Appears to be a cross section of members from old (me) to twenty+, males and females and from the body beautiful to body needs upgrade. Always feel comfortable when I attend.

Fantastic experience: New gym opened in December 2022 and I think many people left their gym memberships to join PureGym. I know I certainly did. 24/7 access, plenty of equipment, friendly staff and classes.

Fantastic experience: Newly opened when I visited. Top notch equipment, can check how busy it is on the app. Even during peak times there has been plenty of equipment still free
