Fantastic experience: Staff are friendly, helpful and say hello. Facilities are immaculate and the showers are at satisfactory temperature. Much better than Puregym Kirkstall.

Fantastic experience: We've been doing classes at different gyms and gym chains for years and Sarah Ray's is one of the best. She explains the exercises well, motivates the class and helps people out without embarrassing them. There's a real feeling of "gym community" in her classes and everyone feels comfortable regardless of how bad some of us are!!!!

Negative experience: Machines are worn and rubbers on loose hand bars etc are all worn

Fantastic experience: Edit from previous post - definitely worth a 5 rating, no doubts about that! It has a wide variety of equipment and generally feels very safe and very clean! The staff here are very helpful and friendly, which is always appreciated (most of the gym-goers are friendly and helpful too!)! The cost of joining is reasonable and you can get add-ons for a bit extra! You can take classes for free, but they have to be booked through the app first! It's strongly recommended you have a padlock if using the lockers, as they don't self-lock! Overall, worth going if you want a Gym Session that makes you feel better....I'm here early every day (Monday to Friday) and will continue to do so, as I really love this Gym - wonderful place!

Fantastic experience: Pure Gym is a friendly place. Lot's of different machines to use. Staff are great. If you're not sure what to do, ask. Trainers are available to teach you the right way to use machines. I would recommend it.

Fantastic experience: Perfect for when my daughter is at gymnastics for 3 hours! I usually do Crossfit so try and intertwine weights and HIIT in my workouts. This place has all I need! Jamie's classes are especially fun!

Positive experience: Really good gym. Tidy and well run, ive been going 4 years since i moved into the area. The staff are great and if there have been the rare wrong uns causing trouble they have been on them immediately. I do wish there was room for some more equipment for certain things as can be tricky to get on equipment needed in both peak and sometimes even quiet times but the gym does have everything

Negative experience: New management took over and ever since the gym hasn’t felt the same. Despite the outdated equipment I and many other long serving members have stuck with this gym. One of the longest serving members at the gym has recently been suspended with no warning or notice. They have never caused any problems or caused anything at the gym yet have received the worst sanction possible Not impressed!
Negative experience: New manager has recently banned a member with no explanation given or warning. Very poor communication from someone who is supposed to set an example to others of what to expect in the gym. My suggestion would be further training or transfer to a role that is more suited to their abilities.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been attending classes at this gym and it’s been a fantastic experience. The instructors are incredibly motivating and make each class enjoyable. Sarah, Jamie, James, Hadley and Rangarirai, whose classes I attend the most, are incredibly motivating. They make each class enjoyable and push you to your limits. The gym equipment is top-notch with a good variety to cater to everyone’s fitness needs. It can get busy at times, but that’s just a testament to how great this place is. The gym is usually clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall positive experience. What’s more, the people here are friendly, creating a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone. Highly recommended for anyone looking to get fit in a friendly and motivating environment!

Positive experience: I love this gym but fear it is slowly going down hill. Tonight featured a live DJ set up which seems like an interesting idea but unfortunately it just highlights that the new management are losing sight of the things that really matter to customers. The drink machine has been out of order all week, several bits of equipment have been out of order for weeks yet the management think a DJ on a Friday is more important than getting equipment working. To make things worse the DJ thought that he would start off with his music on full volume. Bad idea, the place emptied within minutes. I like the idea of trying to be innovative and try new things but it would make sense to get the house in order first. I hope the new management read this and realise that I'm not alone in fearing the place is quickly going downhill and start prioritising getting the place in order ahead of gimmicks.

Fantastic experience: Jamie's classes are always 5 star ... but I feel some of the other teatime classes are lacking energy and motivation. Its difficult getting motivated to go to the gym after work so when you get their you want to feel encouraged supported pushed and most of all you want to enjoy the workouts. The 5 stars are for Jaimie's body tone ive just done. Come on pure gym bring back the energy!!!

Fantastic experience: I attend Jamie's circuits class and it's the best! He is super organised and always has the circuits set up and ready to go so no time is wasted. Jamie is full of energy and his positivity is so uplifting. Genuinely love his classes and wish there were more early morning sessions with him. If you are looking for a PT - he's your man!

Fantastic experience: I go at 0430 everyday and it's great. Obviously at that time on a morning there is no cueing to get on any equipment and it's the same friendly faces there at that time. I have a personal trainee (sarah) and she is great she has really helped me on my weight loss journey and taught me how to use the machines properly so I couldn't thank her enough for that and she goes above and beyond. The only thing I think the gym is missing is a punch bag i find them really good for fitness and for the mind so if you could get one that would really be appreciated

Fantastic experience: Like many newbies to working out and going to a gym I thought the atmosphere would be intimidating, I couldn’t have been more wrong. All the PT’s are always happy to help , The regular classes, which give you amazing levels of motivation and help massively in improving fitness levels are run by very friendly and approachable instructors and are a good way to feel more confident about starting your fitness journey. My first ever class was pump run by Vicky Morrish, she showed so much passion in running the class that I approached her to find out about one to one PT sessions, long story short more than 3 years later she is still my PT and still has as much passion in her vocation The equipment is of good quality and it is always possible to get a good workout in. There are plenty of free weights and a good variety of machines all of which are well maintained and are cleaned regularly.

Fantastic experience: The staff at PureGym Bramley are excellent. I mostly attend the morning classes. Despite it being early, I'm always motivated to attend as they are so well thought out, professional and fun. The classes are accessible to all abilities and push you as well.

Fantastic experience: I recently started the Gym after always feeling uncomfortable about attending before. The gym is lovely, clean and friendly. There havd many personal trainers, I am currently working with Sarah Ray who has made my transition very easy and welcoming. I would highly recommend Sarah if anyone is thinking of starting the gym but doesnt have a clue on how to start and needs the assistance of personal trainer to help get your body in shape.

Fantastic experience: I've been a member around 2 years now and I love going. In previous gyms I've struggled with consistent motivation but the staff here and the classes really help with that. Particular shout out to Jamie, Sarah and Vicky helping me get in better shape over the last 12 months but the whole team there are really friendly and knowledgeable.

Fantastic experience: Classes at PureGym, Bramley I adore Sarah's classes, particularly the 45-minute Pump class. The session provides an incredible workout that leaves me feeling energized and accomplished. Exercising alongside other dedicated individuals makes it easier for me to stay committed, and Sarah always manages to keep things exciting by switching it up. With the upbeat music pushing me to push myself, time flies by, and I leave feeling stronger and more empowered than ever before! Sarah is always available for a chat and a catch-up. Her empathetic and supportive nature ensures that you leave the gym feeling not only physically, but also emotionally better. Thank you, Sarah! Classes with Ernest I just wanted to say how much I appreciate his guidance and training. Thanks to Ernest, I feel so much more confident in my skills and abilities, and I've gained a ton of knowledge! His teaching style is amazing - it's easy to understand and keeps me engaged. Every session is challenging and I feel like I'm pushing myself further each time. Plus, I love that he always adds a personal touch. Ernest is awesome - he's always there to help out, offer fitness advice, or just share some life experiences to keep us motivated. Classes with Richard, Hadley and Luigi New to PureGym, these guys are nonetheless fitting incredibly well with the general theme of being awesome at teaching classes! Friendly and knowledgeable, they provide consistently high-quality lessons! Thank you so much for everything, you guys are the best!

Fantastic experience: Been training at puregym Bramley for a number of years now. Great gym (could do with some upgrades on equipment) but overall a good gym. Fantastic experience: Really friendly gym. I was super intimidated when I first went and didn't dare go anywhere past the running machines or exercise bikes as I had no idea what to do with the weights. But I went to some of the various intro classes, which were really helpful and the instructor Sarah was really friendly, knowledgeable (and patient). I'm now way more confident and happy to use both the free weights and weight machines.

Fantastic experience: Love this gym mainly thanks to the trainer Sarah Ray, her classes are amazing,she really cares about her clients and caters to each individual adding variations of exercises for everyone. Shes the most warm and welcoming staff member of any gym ive attended and it makes the world of a difference to feeling included in what can sometimes be a place ppl find daunting. Sarah is also my personal trainer & her knowledge is 2nd to none. Ive learnt a lot

Fantastic experience: I had a class that was ran by the lovely Sarah! She was amazing start to finish so encouraging ( I haven't worked out in a while) she kept me pumped and made me feel confident to come back and attend another class which usually I would be reluctant to do as the classes are intense. I will be back for another one of Sarah's classes!

Fantastic experience: Mainly use the gym for the cardio equipment and the classes. I have always found all of the staff super friendly and helpful and tend to go the classes that Jamie, Vicky & Ranga do which are all great! However I try and go to as many of Sarah’s classes cause I find them super fun and she’s really motivating and helpful before, during and after her classes! Great work everyone!!!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this class I’ve been three times now even when I’m tired and not feeling too well I’m always absolutely buzzing and drenched in sweat after and so glad that I’ve been! Jamie is always so full of energy and motivation, I love the music and the energy. The circuits are changed up each week so it’s always interesting. I’ve never done a circuit class before but would say this is my absolute fave now and it really gives me a boost for the week.

Fantastic experience: Hadley always runs a great bootcamp session, very motivational and love the partner element where we swap after a certain number of an exercise. Love attending the bootcamps on Saturday morning and the length of the class is perfect too!

Negative experience: Has the potential to be a good gym, however some of the members don’t have good etiquette as well parking in disabled bays without a blue badge.
