Fantastic experience: Great setup

Negative experience: Facility’s are good but shame that University charges for car park. In evenings signs poorly visible. On University website can’t find any information or mentioning about parking fees. A bit low standards from University that claims to be GREAT. More like GREAT scam artists.

Positive experience: Great for sports but a pain for parking nowhere near enough spaces for the amount of people who visit and they love dishing out parking fines.

Fantastic experience: Great facilities. Free car parking and helpful staff. We have been using the 3G football pitches for our youth football league games and they are fantastic. Dugout area with seats, good condition ground and fencing around to prevent losing balls.

Positive experience: Its very good well run sports complex...parking has become an issue however.

Fantastic experience: The indoor tennis courts were great, the lighting in particular was very well placed to avoid glare for overhead shots. The car park was oversubscribed and ideally could use an overflow if the site availablity allowed. Helpful staff made the overall experience very enjoyable.

Positive experience: Kids have been invited to events here as well as their clubs using it for various sporting activities. Never been inside, other than to enquire at reception. No refreshments open at the weekend to my knowledge. Outside space has a full side rugby pitch 5g. Two full size football pitches, one used for training the other for games (e.g. York City girls). Aware there are tennis courts. Also a sprint running track. Basically a modern take of what was already there. The car park is very, very busy on a weekend and spills into the road, causing blockages. Great facility, no weekend refreshments, poor parking, four stars.

Negative experience: Top facility. Shame about the ignorant staff. Easy to book and good indoor tennis courts. Usually very quiet but when there is someone on the court before you ( court 1, August 20th ) we were firmly told 'let us finish first' - they played on for fifteen minutes - there was no one in reception for us to complain to. What option did we have other than wait for them ' to finish' ? Incredibly rude. Return visits have been worse. Consistently aggressive and confrontational staff. Asked for a refund when unable to access my court. Told 'no refunds for any reason '. What is it with this place. Absolutely terrible. Awful. Google has asked for an update. Senior coaches still unapologetic in asking me to leave a tennis court with no refund or able to explore why the tennis shoes I was wearing were not deemed 'acceptable'. Utterly useless and incompetent. Have not renewed our coaching this term at the tennis centre because of the ill-mannered, surly and abusive administrative and security staff there. Blocking our attempts to walk down a corridor - I'm trying to leave the building - excuse me ?

Negative experience: I've got to say the training is fantastic I take my boy and he absolutely loves it. The thing that I don't understand is the disabled parking when the York City Knights rugby players are training they take up all the disabled spaces then that leaves people with disabilities not able to park, which really grinds my gears. Hopefully something will be done about it as it is disgraceful.

Positive experience: Sports ground and indoor facility used by university and booked by outside groups. Tuition in tennis football and rugby are main users. Toilets and free parking but no refreshments or cafe.
