Hi John. Thanks for taking the time to review & being a part of the gym. We feel your pain, but there isn't much we can do. All that we can do is to continue offering a fantastic place to achieve your goals, so that the limited parking availability is not such a pain, and the short walk in from the surrounding areas is worth it as a gentle warm up for exercise. We moved from the high street in 2021 with zero parking, so we're grateful for even a little more now than we had then. In the future, who knows? When our lease is up we may move again and get even bigger and even better.
Fantastic experience: Recently joined having trained at commercial and CrossFit gyms for years. Dream fitness offers a great layout and provides the opportunity to do a vast range of workouts. Always clean and tidy and kit appears to be regularly maintained. Also it’s nice to be able to train any time, any day. Would recommend checking it out as it’s good value for money

Fantastic experience: I absolutely LOVE dream fitness. Ive never been into fitness as such and always felt like i had imposter syndrome in other gyms - i just never felt comfortable. Dream fitness from the first time i visited never made me feel like this. Theres always friendly approachable staff at hand, and everyone there is there to do there thing or up for a chat if you want one! People are in there to do one thing, crack on with excersize and thats what everyone does. No judgement from anyone. Im so glad I took the dive to go, it has a real lovely feel as well as having lots of equipment, spaces (even places to hide if you dont feel confident!) and lots of classes available. Dream fitness has totally changed my opinion on gyms. Thanks Team Dream! x
Fantastic experience: As a newbie to the gym which can be very intimidating I would just like to say - I love this gym! I go most evenings every week now and I feel very comfortable there. The staff are really friendly and approachable and the atmosphere is really friendly too. I think the value for money is great - loads of free classes included in my basic membership, I got a free personal training session as part of signing up, a free body scan and explanation from one of the staff and it's 24 hour so I can go whenever suits me! If you are considering a gym and are not sure which one to join just head to dream fitness in bognor and speak to one of the staff there and they will convince you (without a hard sell) haha Highly recommend

Hi Oliver. Sorry we've seemingly let you down, we always aim to provide a thorough and detailed response to reviews. Regarding equipment being too close together, we aren't too sure what to do with this. For over 11 years we've never really faced this criticism & in 2021 moved from a small unit to the largest in Bognor. We have more space available than any place locally you could choose to exercise. The equipment layout was professionally designed and keeps users always a minimum of 1m apart during exercise. Some stations are back to back, but if this is the case, they are positioned in a way users face away from each other. We risk assess annually & although you're welcome to your opinion and we do take that onboard, our equipment is no more so positioned closer together than you'd expect to find in any other gym environment. Regarding classes over running the gym. We have two studios that occupy the vast majority of our classes, and we do run a minute amount within the gym floor. Our timetable is publicized via our website and app to help users plan what might be the most suitable time to train. Our classes only have a max attendance of 12-15 however, so similarly to above, we can't quite grasp how our classes over run the gym and stop your ability to exercise effectively. Regarding our toilets being disgusting. It's entirely possible you could have entered a toilet looking pretty awful, this does happen. If that's the case we can only apologise. We clean professionally on a daily basis to ensure all washroom and toilet facilities are clean good for use, however we do not follow each user in to each room after every single use. We do however check hourly. In any situation you found them to be not to standard, you could have mentioned to one of the team who would have been happy to help. We have an incredibly approachable team & working with our members is a huge part of our culture. It a shame you felt you couldn't speak to us & found a better outlet for your frustrations to be a 1 star review of a local business trying their best on a daily basis to continue to provide a fitness environment that's friendly, fun & welcoming. If you did want to speak face to face, we'd love to hear from you. We can discuss this in more detail if needed, maybe we can take some suggestions on board from yourself on how we can be better? If nothing else, we can refund your last month & leave on good terms, as opposed to a sour one. All the best Oliver, hopefully we'll hear from you soon.
Fantastic experience: Been using this gym for nearly a year and it is by far the best gym i have been to. Due to a variety of illnesses i was using a stick or crutches to be able to walk but now i never have to use them. All the PTs have worked with me and adapted exercises to fit my needs. The support and encouragement from the staff at Dream Fitness is amazing and no matter how busy they are awlays have time to help you with your fitness njourney and goals. This gym has improved my life for the better in so many ways

Fantastic experience: Love Dreams. Great equipment, very rarely too busy, never have to wait for equipment. Knowledgeable staff too. My only suggestion would be to have longer running showers (button pressed) and then the tanning room into a sauna... Two big asks and certainly don't hinder the experience. 5 stars all round

Positive experience: Good gym, well equipped. Caters to a range of specialist lifters. Vibe is dead and the music isn't great. Used to be a lot of energy and positivity when I used to train here regularly; feels as though the gym has lost its character.
Hi sam. Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We aim to reply to all reviews and build off the comments left behind. It's what we've always done. Regarding the 'vibe' which is ambiguous, it would be great to know what action we could take to better the vibe based on your opinion. The struggle we've had is that we're a gym for all (age, gender, sport, experience, etc) which means what one person would find a mad vibe, another might think it's crap. Factor in the volume of people that attend, and the opinion of the 'vibe' ever changing based on a members mood that day, it's really hard to hit the sweet spot for all. Regarding music, yes we agree some of the music played isn't the best, in contrast, some is great. We used to play chart music up until 2021 when PPL/PRS licensing heavily enhanced their fees, leaving us with a bill in excess of £8,000 per year to play music. We discussed things as a group at the time and decided that members would prefer £8,000 worth of equipment/services rather than chart music. This position was further supported by regular observation and feedback with the shear number of members who bring there own music to the gym. It was a no brainer, but always remains up for review. It's sad you feel the gym has lost character. Our staff still slog themselves daily to deliver a clean/safe environment, the relationships with members is positive, the teams position within the gym is that certainly more than 'just a job'. We're not too sure what we can action to give you the feeling that our character remains, but if you'd like to expand on this we'd love to speak if you could spare a few moments before or after training. We all want to be better, if you can share what better looks like in your eyes, then we'd love to work with that.
Fantastic experience: I've been a member of Dream Fitness for years, and couldn't imagine using any other gym in the area! Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and the variety of machines and free weights gives so much choice for workouts. The entire gym is always clean and even during non staffed hours a fantastic environment to train in.

Hi Jubril. Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review & of course we'll be looking forward to seeing you again. We always try to operate with complete transparency, so below is a little further information on your two main critiques of the gym: Re: Music. In summer 2021 post lockdowns, we were looking at soaring bills from PPL/PRS (music licensing) which meant multiple thousands of pounds were being pulled from our budget, which we would rather put back in to equipment and direct member services. We made the decision to go license free on the logic that most members bring their own music & given a choice, most would prefer access to more equipment and services, rather than chart hit music. We understand its not perfect, but hopefully this allows you to understand our rationale. Since making that decision we've been able to invest an additional £15,000 over the past 18 months in to equipment. Re: More Eleiko bars. We want them too, as well as more platforms and more squat racks. At over £1000 per barbell and the very small volume of members who specifically train with them, it hasn't been financially viable to bring more to the gym just yet. Last year we sadly lost an Eleiko barbell due to member misuse which was upsetting too. However, do expect more and an even bigger variety as time goes on as we keep striving to give you and our community more of what you want.
Positive experience: All round good gym but something needs to be done about air quality. It’s just the same stale air circulating not being filtered or fresh air from the outside. Can see this being a problem in the summer and was the main reason I left last time. Apart from that it’s got everything you need.
Hi Andrew. Thanks for leaving us a review, we know it takes a bit of your time but its massively appreciated. Regarding your comments of stale air, you may not be aware that we were recent victims of the vandalising of our units. The police currently have the CCTV and are working to deal with the people responsible, but the damage left our system out of whack for a week or so. Your review and comments match the times that this was all happening, so we are thinking that this may be the reason. Everything is uo and running now, so the gym should feel much fresher. Do let us know if you have any problems moving forward.
Fantastic experience: Been here several times when i’ve been in the Bognor area. I’ve never been to such a good gym before, if this gym wasn’t a 1hr 30m drive from mine i’d be here everyday. Great pricing on day passes and memberships, plenty of equipment - wouldn’t go anywhere else. Always looking forward to my next session here!

Fantastic experience: 10/10, the staff are really really nice and the gym itself is also great. There’s a huge variety in equipment across both floors and an array of classes to choose from. The facilities are also a massive bonus, the showers are a dream (nicer than ours at home!) and the gym areas are always clean and tidy. For someone who’s been dubious about joining the gym for a while, this place and it’s vibe has made me feel extremely welcome

We are more than happy to remedy any errors if there have been any, the team are all very approachable and keen to help. With the information we have from google, I can't investigate further. If you could contact us via email at [email protected] or by telephone on 01243821784 during staffed hours (06:00-21:00 weekdays) we can find out what's happened with your cancellation request, subsequent payment, and issue a refund if its not been done already. It may even be possible that the payment taken is your final payment. You will have received an email from us confirming your cancellation request, your final payment date, and final date you can access the gym. If you speak with us we can fix things very quickly, it's unfortunate you've decided a damming google review was the best way forward. As always, our friendly team are here to help. Fantastic experience: Kinda busy with SARMS goblins (16 year olds) in the evenings hogging all the equipment while they talk to each other and don’t actually use the machines. Apart from that, all good. If you wanna avoid them, just come in the morning or after 20:30. Staff is grate, gym is super clean and there are loads of machines you can use.

Hi Andrew. Thanks for the review, we're keen to see if awe can get up to 5*. At present we currently have two machines out of use across the gym, and we have engineers attending every month. There is a delay with some parts due to brexit red tape, but all faults have been reported and we are awaiting further visits. We just thought it would be good to let you know the process currently in place, as we would hate for us to perceived as slack or not on top of things on the few occasions you've attended and been unable to use the machine you want to use.

Fantastic experience: Dream Fitness is a fantastic facility with lots of space and a huge variety of equipment, ranging free weights to cardio. I particularly like the open air area near the entrance with the CrossFit/Calisthenics area. This is one of the best gym facilities in the area without doubt!
Positive experience: Great kitted out gym and most staff members are brilliant will is always good to have a chat with. however they have taken on way to many members and you struggle to do anything in there. Unfortunately I had to cancel my membership due to this reason. And moved on to another quieter gym. Parking was not thought about when they relocated to the durban park estate.
Fantastic experience: Staff couldn't be more helpful, they will happily answer any query and help out with advice. The new site is amazing, they have made such good use of the large space with so much equipment- and more than one of most things, so not often waiting around except at the most peak times. Opening up a Junior membership over the summer holidays has been a great idea! I can't wait to take my secondary age children to the gym to workout alongside me and tire them out so much they forget to argue with each other!

Vince is also a great asset to their offering, helping me feel motivated and really maximising my experience everytime. Fantastic experience: I joined the gym one month ago, could not be happier with it! I got to see the original gym and then enjoy the new venue that they have moved at and honestly it's beyond any expectation! It's huge, they have loads of work out machines in the ground floor, crossfit equipment, etc. Upstairs there are tredmills, rowing machines, everything you need for your cardio, two amazing studios, changing rooms, showers... Best gym I have ever joined!!

Fantastic experience: The atmosphere is phenomenal, the staff are very welcoming, but the other members are also really friendly. The gym equipment is organised so that you don't have to run around the whole gym to complete a push, pull workout etc. it's always been clean every time that i have visited the gym.
Fantastic experience: nice gym in general, alot of heavy equipment wich is was perfect for me as i mainly do powerlifting and strength training, very good communication through facebook messenger as i was on holiday and needed somewhere to train, would recommend to anyone if your holidaying in Bognor Regis, oh before you go find somewhere to park beforehand.as its on a main street, i parked on double yellow lines round the back lol

Fantastic experience: What a lovely gym! I'm working at Butlin's for a few gigs over Christmas so this suits my needs to have a gym that you are able to pay for one off visits. It was easy to apply online and all the info you need on how to get in with codes was delivered in an email, so also made easy to gain access. Based on several floors with plenty of quality equipment, it has everything you need. At the time I went (around 2pm)it wasn't that busy so I was able to use everything I needed for a workout without having to wait. Marvellous! Very clean in the gym and the changing rooms too, plus the use of showers and lockers (I brought my own padlock). Bright and airy, will definitely use again when I'm here. Wish there was one near me!
Positive experience: Updated review since the bigger gym opened: Hands down the best and biggest gym in the area, plenty of equipment spread over 2 floors and several rooms, has your basics (squat, bench, deadlift platforms etc) plus loads of isolation machines and a few powerlifting bits (farmers walk) Has private shower/changing rooms too and a sun bed (extra charge) Plenty of cardio machines and rooms for Pilates classes etc (most are included with membership) The gym is open 24/7, peak times can get busy but as it's so big you can normally get on all the equipment you need. The only let down is the parking, there is simply not enough spaces for the size of the membership and this has gotten worse throughout the years, I often struggle to park outside the gym during peak times now and even struggle to find a space within walking distance. If you have no other means to travel except via car then I would go elsewhere especially if you will be working out during peak hours. No swimming pool or Jacuzzi etc but it's a gym, not a leisure centre.
Thanks Morgan. Solid review and we concur with all comments. We've been driven to keep supplying a better gym since we started. The move in 2021 was a needs must as we just couldn't do what we needed to do in the old home. Parking is crap, we agree. We are always looking for ways to make this better but we have very limited control or influence. All we would say is that in the high street we had zero parking nearby & members had to walk in an area where we constantly had feedback that didn't feel safe. It's better than it was but miles away from where we want to be. There are plenty of gym options in bognor that are much smaller with less members, so if the walk in is a bridge too far for anyone, we're really sorry but we still hope you find a great environment & achieve your goals.

Positive experience: Great variety of machines. One mark down would be that I’ve been waiting for a call back reference my welcome PT session/program session which would have really helped me get back in to the gym. They are upgrading aircon and water pressure for showers so that will make the experience better too. Staff are welcoming and make an effort to keep your experience personal.

Fantastic experience: Dream fitness is a very welcoming gym. The staff are great and always there happy to help you. They have all up to date equipment over 3 floors. Overall GREAT gym!! highly recommend.
Fantastic experience: I have really enjoyed the gym since I joined last year. Personally I really enjoy all of the classes, especially the new HIIT classes ran by Conor! With the gym being 24 hours it allows me to train whenever I want and allows me get my goals.

Fantastic experience: I've been here for 2 years now and the gym keeps expanding with new equipment as well as maintaining a great level of costumer service towards the members. I feel this gym brings a great community feel in the gym as well as a very social environment where everyone is approachable. I would highly recommend Dream Fitness to everyone!

Fantastic experience: Great gym and fantastic team of people to support you when needed. Lots of classes if you don't want to exercise on your own too. You won't find a better (or cheaper!) place to exercise in the area. And it just keeps getting better!
