There is currently no way to disable animations within Microsoft Edge. Users of Edge (Chromium) browser can install the Chrome extensions above and use them.
To stop animations on a single page you can just press the 'Esc' key. This will stop the animation on that page. If you wish to restart the animations you need to refresh the page. To permanently disable the playing of animated GIF images, open Internet Options > Advanced tab. Under the Multimedia section, uncheck the Play animations in webpage check-box, click Apply and Exit and then restart your computer.
Type about:config in Firefox address bar and hit Enter to open Settings. Search for the image.animation_mode flag and change its value from Normal to None. Once you restart Firefox this will disable animations.

Positive experience: We take our Grandchildren to play tennis and do training. The cafe is good and staff friendly and we are able to sit and work on our own there. Good venue.

Positive experience: Unfortunately I had to cancel my membership to join a local (larger) gym, & cheaper, with free classes, I am beginning to find that the multi gym is small, (Covid-19 need space) not enough equipment and broken (exercise bike) equipment that hasn't been mended for ages. Large quantity of students but small gym... Nice staff though, But thanks for everything...
Fantastic experience: A large sports facility. It’s got everything you’d want in a sports centre. Have been here a couple of times to check it out, and was impressed. It’s easily accessible and has been used by big names in sporting. So a pleasure to be able to use it.
