Fantastic experience: Great pool and staff.

Fantastic experience: I have been attending Everlast for the past 3 years and I feel very comfortable and confident. The staff are so welcoming and helpful, there is such a community vibe at this gym. The gym is well equipped with a wide range of classes to offer. Would highly recommend.

Positive experience: It's OK. Small pool isn't helped by constant lane roping off and endless lads hogging the middle of the pool seemingly just walking up and down two or three abreast having a chat, or the aqua aerobics people who don't feel the need to share the pool with people merely swimming. Showers hit and miss and usually no shower gel in dispensers.

Negative experience: Really nice helpful staff but have to say probably the worst boxing/heavy bag set up I’ve ever encountered and I’ve seen a lot. There’s only 2 bags on a 4 bag set up yet they’ve decided to put the main heavy bag in the most awkward place imaginable right next to a set of metal railings and then on the floor there are the stands that are attached to the podium which therefore makes it impossible to hit the bag and move round it. Was that bad I literally walked out after 10 minutes. On top of that you can’t just use a skipping rope like any other gym you have to actually buy it for £18 which I made the mistake of doing only to realise it was also the worse skipping rope I’ve ever used. The handles were big and stiff yet the rope was so light it was hard to get a real Rhythm, the rope was so bad that I actually gave it back after paying for it. They also don’t supply gloves you have to bring your own which I can slightly understand however with everlast being a brand that’s largely popular on the boxing scene I just assumed the set up would be much better. If you’re unfortunate enough to come here for a boxing based workout make sure you definitely bring your own gloves as they don’t supply them and if you’d like to use a pair you have to buy them for £40 at the counter. Real shame the set up really disappointed me so much so that I couldn’t bring myself to even work out there after using it for 10-15 minutes.

Fantastic experience: Have been there a couple of times recently to partake in their Everlast Games competition. Great fun and Aiden and Zoe, the trainers that were with us were massively helpful. Facilities were excellent. Great changing rooms, clean and modern pool, sauna and jacuzzi. And the gym is really well equipped, all the modern machines, free weights and functional fitness equipment you could need. Only passing through but the gym prices seem incredibly reasonable for what's on offer.

Fantastic experience: Got a daypass for here when I was visiting family. The gym has everything you could want including a great functional area. Pool facilities are fab including jacuzzi and steam room. Staff were super friendly.

Fantastic experience: Nice gym and pool. I was in Inverness for a work trip and I visited the gym. I got a free pass and it was a great experience. I specifically enjoyed the the steam room and jacuzzi, they were relaxing and clean.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member for six months and have never looked back. I attend zumba, dance and aqua fit which I enjoy. I also swim and the pool is a good size. The jacuzzi temperature is just right. The gym is on my list. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The changing area and showers are kept clean at all times

Fantastic experience: I have been a regular member since Everlast took over the gym. The staff are all very friendly and helpful which provides a great atmosphere. Good sized pool and clean good sized changing rooms although showers getting bit tired looking and could do with being updated. Great selection of classes to go to with fab trainers. Only thing really missing is a cafe/bar which I would have thought would be a business opportunity for the club as some of us who attend classes have to go elsewhere for refreshments afterwards!

I cannot fault or speak highly enough about the staff they are friendly and welcoming and nothing is a problem for them as well as being professional and that is a very good combination for running a branch. I use the pool and the changing rooms and pool area I find always very clean . Love this gym !

The gym floor is very well equipped and suited for all types of workouts and the pool is lovely and warm. Such a friendly place too, everyone you meet has a smile. By far the best gym in Inverness!

Fantastic experience: Everlast is a very friendly welcoming gym. All the staff from front of house to the fabulous cleaners and trainers make going to the gym a joy. It is very clean, with a good sized pool, steam room and two jacuzzis. The gym is well equipped but I personally prefer to use the classes which are held in both the studio and pool. There are a wide variety of classes offered both during the day and in the evening with something for everybody. The staff are very good at listening to feedback and try to implement changes when required. I also feel the membership is excellent for we get in return. Well done to our Inverness team.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to see a PT weekly at Everlast Gym for a month now and I would highly recommend the gym. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The changing facilities and toilets are very clean. I only use the area with the equipment and it is very well laid out and very spacious. The temperature and lighting are perfect and I feel very comfortable in it and I do not feel at all intimidated which I thought may be the case being a newbie. Looking forward to my future visits.

Fantastic experience: My daughter has a membership and is allowed 2 free passes so she can take a friend along. My daughter took me along, I have been twice now. First impressions friendly, chatty welcoming reception staff. Ladies changing area very clean, comfortable with adequate facilities, showers, toilets, hairdryers, mirrors. Very nice indeed. Swimming pool area very clean with water being lovely and warm. Sauna/steam room interior very nice and clean and not small good size . Hot tub area, there is two of them is great. I also attended an aqua aerobics class which was great fun, I loved it! On my second visit my daughter used the gym for 30 mins and I had few minutes on equipment available of my choice. Being 64 years I enjoyed the rowing machine, cycling, treadmill and machine for thighs(not sure what it is called). Instructions easy enough for me to follow and large area with a great selection of equipment from beginners to the more committed serious users. Must of worked as thighs sore next day! Went from there for a swim, sauna/steam room and hot tub. I have thoroughly enjoyed my visits and Inverness gym has something for everyone no matter your age. Was impressed with the standard of cleanliness and decor. Highly recommend and look forward to returning and using daughters free passes. It is somewhere I would feel very comfortable going on my own. Give it a visit I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Negative experience: Nice enough gym. Lots of young boys in large groups. 2 or 3 times experienced or witnessed quite threatening/intimidating behaviour in the pool area. Wish they had a life gaurd monitoring this.

Fantastic experience: I am a 74 year old member of the Everlast Inverness branch and am delighted I took the decision to join earlier this year . The quality of the gym equipment is functional, if a little tired. Classes are generally well attended, I believe , with enthusiastic, knowledgeable instructors. I can only speak for the “spin” class which I attend as frequently as possible. The pool , jacuzzi and steam room are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness , as is the gym floor and locker room. The biggest asset this gym has is its staff. They are friendly and welcoming. I find there is a relaxed atmosphere and it’s a pleasure to be part of it !

Positive experience: I've only started at everlast gym and pool the steam room wasn't working and no private changing rooms so I got changed in the toilet

Negative experience: Signed up for six months but am seriously questioning whether that was a mistake. For January and February, it was clean and well presented but today, the male changing room floor was dirty and the floor in the shower cubicles was filthy. Also, three shower cubicles have been broken all week and are still closed off. I’m told that the female changing room was also dirty. For the monthly membership fee charged, this is disappointing because clean floors and properly maintained facilities should be a given.

Positive experience: Machines are old but work, unfortunately they are few, space is limited and if most people came to the gym, it would be generally overcrowded especially for the amount of dumbells available so avoid peak times. There has been a terrible smell in the male's bathroom for a while pretty much every day. I do not think anybody cleaned it or there was no cleaner. Update: Male bathroom smells better for the most part of the day now, great improvement thanks! Showers, sauna, swimming pool are decent enough, although I would prefer that warm baths were warmer. Staff is friendly and nice, always helpful! Saluting at the entrance makes you feel welcomed!

Negative experience: a lot of the machines need replaced or maintained. I cancelled my membership and I am still getting emails from everlast fitness saying I need to pay for my membership which they will not be getting from me. I have also had two £10 late payments added to my account and probably more to come beware when joining this gym they will not be getting anymore money from me. Bannatynnes may be slightly more expensive but its a far better gym to be a member of.
