Fantastic experience: Fantastic facilities, the gym has a great range of equipment and plenty to use, always floors and feels clean. A very nice atmosphere also. The sports hall is one of the best ove used for badminton, well looked after, clean and tidy and the equipment is all of a good standard. The swimming pool was lovely and warm and the changing facilities were nice and clean, plenty of showers and lockers. Sauna was fab and again clean and tidy, shame that the steam room has been broken since my membership started, as that's one of my fav things to enjoy. Cafe is a wonderful little spot. So far, all of the staff have been really helpful and friendly. So glad to have this on my door step. Keep it up, it's a great place.

Positive experience: It’s a really good club with good facilities, gym, swimming pool, sauna, sport fields …. however the gym could be 24h as people got different necessities and if your job doesn’t meet the opening times you don’t have many options living in cheddar.

Fantastic experience: Returned here for my first swim in about 3 years and my experience was just as good as I remembered. The changing village is clean with plenty of cubicles and lockers available (don't forget your £1 coin for the locker). The pool itself is warm and clean and doesn't feel overly chlorinated, and the whole space feels light and airy. There are lots of showers to wash off after your swim. If you're there to do a training session, there is a timing clock above the deep end so you can measure your splits. At £5.50 for a non-member, I think this is good value, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Although I didn't use any of the other facilities, the gym, sports hall and studios look really good, with a good quantity and range of equipment and machines in the gym itself. It also looks as though there are lots of different classes available so all tastes are catered for.

Fantastic experience: Tijdens onze vakantie hier kunnen sporten. Met z'n tweeën kostte het ons 15 pond en toen mochten we gebruik maken van de fitness en de douches (zeer schoon :)). Het personeel was heel vriendelijk en we werden goed geholpen. De fitness ruimte is zeer uitgebreid! Ze hebben alles van losse gewichten en squatrekken tot aussalt bikes en ski-ergs. Prettige plek om te sporten met een fijne sfeer. Top gym!

Fantastic experience: Went for the pool, changing rooms were clean and tidy, the pool felt very chlorinated but at least that meant it wasn't dirty.

Fantastic experience: Gréât public baths - swim n sauna for £5! With clean facilities and friendly staff. Can’t knock it! Uh-hum! Except one thing. The showers are piping hot even in summer! Turn it down a degree or two. No one will notice and you’ll be saving money and helping the planet!

Fantastic experience: Great local gym, friendly staff, large selection of classes and you don’t need to pay a monthly fee to use it - unless you use it a lot then it would definitely be cheaper. Fees for ad hoc use is much more convenient and cost effective for me.

Positive experience: Great local facility and staff always friendly. Equipment is often not set up in time to start badminton at the time of booking, not a major issue, but a recurring theme which should really be addressed

Fantastic experience: Great gym and decent pool in the lovely surroundings of Cheddar. Gym closes at 10 during the week but there is a good range of equipment which is of a good standard including free weights and a lot of bikes/running machines. Also free wifi. There are lockers for the gym but remember to bring your own padlock.

Fantastic experience: You couldn't find a more welcoming place with incredibly friendly and dedicated staff. The gym is very well equipped and the trainers are well experienced and very helpful. All ages and abilities are catered for in a wide variety of classes. The facilities are meticulously maintained. The brochure and website have a lot of helpful information and the receptionists are always amiable and efficient. I attend 4 or 5 classes a week and can thoroughly recommend this fitness centre. Most importantly it has a fantastic team of people who genuinely care about helping each individual to work at their own pace, promoting fitness, health and a general sense of wellbeing.

Negative experience: Used to have good classes with excellent instructors, now they've lost them (with the exception of one or two). It's dispiriting to be in small classes. Appalling toilet and changing facilities.
