Negative experience: Hi ! They make me loose my money with a contract for all the family because when I subscribed I saw a lady with a baby in a buggy and they said I can bring with me in the buggy with my baby, then they change their mind and I could use of my benefit . Plus they should show me the gym or tell me before I have to make an appointment for someone to show me the gym. I needed for abs class but they put me only to run one time and I was only to courses then the lady said she is happy to refund me because she change her conditions. But still not receiving my refund plus they try to still money from account and nobody is using the gym . How is possible? What a shame ! You should explain the policy before take my money and you should give the refund because you the owner tell me I can take my young child with me because in that day was a different women with the baby in the buggy and I see on your Facebook pages you give a reward... on octomber.... she was maybe be ause was from the same country with you . This is racism! I will go in the court with you !

Fantastic experience: This has been a great gym for me, compact enough to feel part of a family and still large enough that you rarely have to queue for equipment. Although only a small selection there is a varied amount of equipment with at least one of everything. This is definitely reflected in the price. This may not suit everyone which also means there are enough quiet times especially afternoons and weekends. After a few months of cardio work and a free PT trial they were running, I booked 10 sessions with Adriana and found amazing results. She was considerate of a football injury I have but at the same time pushed me to improve on my limits while making it fun. I'd definitely recommend both her and Hitio

Fantastic experience: I have been a happy customer for a couple of years now. The gym personnel is very professional and friendly, the atmosphere is familiar and welcoming, there is a sufficiently varied selection of gym equipment and it is rarely too busy. Adriana is a great Personal Trainer and she has been instrumental in helping me working towards my fitness goals.

Negative experience: I had wrote to Hitio to express my concerns regarding the hygiene standards, professionalism, and overall upkeep of the gym. I joined in April on a 30-day trial, and I had high hopes for my experience at HITIO Gym. However, I had encountered several issues that have left me feeling disappointed and concerned. Firstly, I adressed the cleanliness of the main group classroom. Upon attending classes, I noticed that the room is excessively dusty, with cobwebs and dust present on the walls. Additionally, the mats are visibly overused and emit an unpleasant odor, suggesting that they are not adequately cleaned or replaced regularly. I had not observed any efforts to sanitize the equipment between classes, which is concerning from a hygiene standpoint. Furthermore, the condition of the facility itself is subpar. The decals on the walls of the group classroom are peeling off, giving the gym a neglected appearance. The water fountain appears to be in a state of severe neglect and does not seem to have been serviced or cleaned since the gym opened. These issues contribute to an overall unhygienic and unsanitary environment, which is unacceptable for a fitness facility. In addition to the hygiene concerns and facility maintenance issues, I had also observed unprofessional behavior from one of the group class instructors. During a particular weekly boxing fitness class, I noticed that the instructor was overly hands-on with one specific member. This lack of professionalism is disappointing and detracts from the positive atmosphere that I expect from a gym environment. Furthermore, I brought to their attention that all of the promotional and marketing materials appear to be outdated. This not only reflects poorly on the image of the gym but also creates confusion and is a simple aspect that shouldn't take much effort to upkeep. Despite these issues, I want to acknowledge the positive interactions I had with Rosie, Lamar and Walter. They have been friendly, helpful, and professional, which has been greatly appreciated. When voicing these concerns to the gym, the owner assured me that these would be addressed and offered to have a conversation with him via phone call or meet at the gym. I expressed my interest in this and enquired when the promised changes would be put into effect. As of today August 21st, I've still not had a response from them. Overall extremely disappointed in their lack of continued communication and complete disregard for trying to keep a member content with the paid services.

Fantastic experience: Great gym. Clean and tidy. Was at Virgin Active previously, but it's usually overcrowded there, and hard to find space to do bodyweight fitness, or anything else really. At Hitio, the equipment is modern, and I can work through a calisthenics routine + barbell exercises with no issues. Early/late opening times are also super useful for me. It's a nice space and the staff and other gymgoers all seem like good folks. But only thing I really care about is having the equipment I need to do my workouts, and on that I can't fault the place.

Fantastic experience: HITIO Orpington Gym has a variety of equipment and is maintained very well regarding cleanliness and tidiness, the equipment is spaced out too which I prefer. The atmosphere is welcoming, which I experienced from the friendly staff during my tour. I was searching for a personal trainer at the gym and was offered a free trial session with Rosie. She not only met but exceeded my expectations, and is incredibly motivating and helpful. Now, three months later, I am impressed with the progress I've made on my fitness journey under her guidance. While the gym does experience peak hours, I've found that the range of equipment and spacious upstairs cardio area ensure I always have options for my workout. But there are plenty of quieter times, which helped me become comfortable with the space, equipment etc. when I first joined. Overall, my experience at HITIO Orpington Gym has been excellent, and Rosie, my personal trainer, has been consistently encouraging, attentive, and adept at pushing me beyond my limits while considering my fitness level.

Fantastic experience: Best gym in the area, well equipped, very clean toilets and showers and friendly team. Got my 4yo son on a martial arts course with Walter and coudn’t be happier, he doesn’t just teach you martial arts he also gives you discipline which is very important nowadays. Michael at the reception is friendly and very knowleadgeble, and Lamar is one of the best in teaching boxe. 100% recommended to anyone no matter if you want a family pack or just for one person.

Positive experience: Very bright, clean and modern gym. There's plenty of equipment so there's rarely any waiting or queuing for stations and everything is in pristine condition. I love the focus on martial arts training which gives the gym a different vibe. There are a selection of classes-my only feedback is that it would be good if there was a wider choice/variety of classes.

Positive experience: Nice and spacious gym. Can get onto equipments no problem. Ventilation needs sorting out as it’s really warm and stuffy in the front of the gym. Staff behind the desk aren’t the most helpful.

Their package in terms of classes is great and really makes them stand apart from other gyms (classes like: martial arts, cross training, yoga ...) Everyone is super friendly, this includes both the members and the staff! Fantastic experience: I’ve been with Hitio pretty much since it opened a year ago and I couldn’t be happier! Not only is it large, clean & close by, but it has a range of classes that suit my needs not to mention some wonderful instructors. It’s still in its infancy so I’m hoping more classes will be added but at the moment it ticks all my boxes. Keep it up guys!

Fantastic experience: I love my Yoga and kickboxing classes at HITIO Gym. Instructors are fantastic, and perfect gym location as well.

Fantastic experience: I first came to this gym when it opened just over a year ago having no confidence.( In fact I had such bad anxiety I cried when I came out of the open day.) I wasn't able to do a push up/ burpee or even know what any of the gym equipment was let alone how to use it. I started off with a fitness boxing class with Walter and found myself really enjoying it and getting to know some of the other members. They convinced me to try some of the other classes such as cross training with Iain and Steve and even abs with Dani, both I would never have dreamed I could do. All of the instructors I have come across are really friendly and helpful and nothing is to much for them. They encourage me to keep going and adjust my technique if I'm not in quite the right position. A year on and I have lost over 3 stone, and not only that, I have gained a lot more strength and confidence in myself. I'm not afraid to walk into the gym on my own and join a class or join in on a few weights or handstand push ups with some of the other members. I've even done some PT sessions with Iain and he has pushed me with weights and excersises that i never thought I could do. I can't thank him and all the trainers enough for being so encouraging and passionate in what they do and helping me on my fitness journey.

Fantastic experience: Hitio gym has been fantastic for me and my husband. There is something for everyone, for me the yoga and abs class was what actually made me join. The instructors are great, especially the lovely yoga instructor Chloe, and Dani who does the abs class, and manages the day to day running of the club, and lan who does the cross training classes. Nothing is too much trouble, they are always so helpful and encouraging and have helped us both massively on our mission to get fit. I thoroughly recommend joining!

Such a friendly atmosphere, great trainers and it is such a buzz to come here. HITIO caters for everybody! I always look forward to coming to my next session at HITIO. Fantastic experience: Family gym concert at Hitio is fantastic!! They have a great range of classes for children and adults plus excellent equipment. My girls enjoy so much the martial arts classes, great for building self confidence and consuming their energy. I absolutely love the crosstraining and fitness boxing classes. But the best part is that kids classes are at the same time as the adults, just perfect for parents!! Best gym, great atmosphere, very clean and friendly staff! I joined Hitio from day one and love it ❤️

Fantastic experience: The negative comments about the staff here is completely unfounded in my experience. I have been training here regularly for nearly a year now. I am also a member at Muscleworks, but HITIO gym is very convenient when you have children with you. The equipment is top of the range, the gym is clean, the staff have always been nothing but friendly to me, the toilets, showers and changing facilities are spacious and clean, the classes available to both adults and children are brilliant. In short, it’s a great gym with a lovely atmosphere, where both staff and members are friendly and approachable. To boot, the location is great, parking is generally ample, and there are a good selection of cafes and eateries for a post workout feast (if that’s your thing!).

Negative experience: absolute terrible experiences, terrible choice of music, stinky staff and toilets, showers not working, dirty tissue everywhere, there was one staff member who was so sweet to me and reassured me.

There's other better gyms in orpington thank this. dont go there. you dont have to be a member of this gym to have an experience / be shown around to make an impression! I was shown around and asked questions before making my decisions. So their replies to the negative reviews dont make sense at all...

Positive experience: Inconsistent opening times. Good facilities and modern equipment. Dojo could be cleaner and have waited outside in the cold for the gym to open a few times

Fantastic experience: I've only been a member for 6 weeks so far but love it! I'm with Jack who's a PT there and the training, atmosphere and overall experience have been superb. Great facilities, arguably the nicest gym in the area and I would definitely recommend. Oh wait.. I already have! Toby Bailey.

Fantastic experience: Joined as a family and love that there is something for everyone! My kids absolutely love the martial arts classes and the fitness classes that run on at the same time for adults is very good. The staff are very friendly and the gym is always clean.

Negative experience: Emailed them at the end of August to cancel my membership.There seem to be deliberate attempts to delay cancellations so they can charge you for two additional months. They have targeted my partner who left in April after I had an issue with the receptionist inability to work out my final payment date. 6 month after she left she was suddenly contacted due to a mistake on their side and was asked to pay an additional month despite she was never contacted after they cancelled her account. Customer training and further development would be beneficial. Incompetent staff

Positive experience: Very friendly staff. Gym is a bit small but has a variety of martial arts classes which you can benefit from with an ugraded membership. I found the basic membership fee a bit much for what is on offer.

Fantastic experience: This is very good gym for the family. While your child on the class at the same time you might be at other class for adults. Other points: everything are new with high standard, friendly staff, free parking.

Negative experience: Great gym, however be wary of shady contract notice period - it's supposedly 30 days notice, but they word the contract and clauses that it ends up being 2 months, with some lame terminology about billing periods. So if you send them a notice even only one day after you paid for the month, they'll still charge you for two months. And what I dislike the most, is being treated unfarily. Otherwise would have given 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym, with excellent facilities! Best cardio machines I’ve ever used which are easy to use and have lots of programmes to help with your fitness goals. The showers and toilets are always immaculate and the staff are so friendly!! Would definitely recommend this gym!

Fantastic experience: As a personal trainer I am particular about where I train myself. Having tried most gyms in the area I cannot believe my luck at a top notch gym landing in the Nugent. The facilities are first class catering not only for combat sports but also my preference which is functional CrossFit. Plenty of space to lift and jump around, excellent equipment perfect for what I want to achieve. The staff, management through to all the trainers are excellent, knowledgeable and very approachable. A highly professional gym with the right level of family friendly. Highly recommend

Negative experience: Pretty short lived experience but glad I cancelled before I had to pay full price. For such a new gym the staff are pretty disinterested already. You just about get a hello as you walk in and as its now you would expect to be showed how to sign in and give a tour of the gym. Nope. Initial sign up was full of smoke and mirrors, so I thought I was signing up to one offer but got another, when I questioned it, they did there best to make me feel stupid with a passive aggressive email response. Quite intimidating atmosphere overall with staff ignoring you, no help given on using the gym and the martial arts part filled with young guys with gloves on doing their best to knock each others heads off. Happy to be cancelled although the GHD straighteners in the toilet will be missed

Fantastic experience: I'm in love with the gym, the location is great, the Staff are very friendly, the trainers are the best and they are always there for you when you need them, whatever the fitness level you are it is a perfect gym to start, the classes are 5 star all of them, my Children love the Tiger and Kickboxing classes too, as well as their Sensei who is friendly and very disciplined, all the machines are brand new and the whole gym are very clean as it is brand new, but still they keep it to a great standard, I highly recommend it.

Negative experience: Over priced gym for what it offers, customer service very poor, not a great experience all round!

Positive experience: A clean space with fairly standard equipment, good facilities and lovely staff. Pricy for the area and amount of equipment available at peak times. False advertising on “no contract - pro rata membership” be mindful when signing up.

Fantastic experience: Epic Gym in the heart of Orpington’s shopping estate. Fantastically equipped functional gym. Only thing really needed in there is a plated leg press. Pt Claire is brilliant!

Fantastic experience: Awww yeeah mate this place is the nuts, it gives off a really friendly vibe, the staff are always on hand and really helpful. Looking forward to the martial arts classes, feels really unique having this option along side a gym! Comparing this to my previous membership at Better Gym, Hitio is in another league!
