Positive experience: Pretty good. Not too busy. The only thing id say is would it kill them to put some shower heads on the showers? The water spurting out of a pipe in the wall has a very prison-showers vibe. Also a couple of cheap wall-mounted hair dryers in the changing rooms would make a big difference to people going straight to work. But, not bad.

Fantastic experience: Great gym, nice and big, one guy Kieran Mayele here has been so polite to me I came back here into his gym today to look for my phone and suddenly he’s been taking care of it for me and charged it for me I’m so happy right now and I could one day even soo ask him to become my PT.

Fantastic experience: I started going to the gym a week ago and I have felt very welcomed and encouraged by all the trainers I have interacted with! The gym is clean and spacious, the music isn't too loud. The trainers are always up for a chat or to answer any question you may have and keep you motivated. I have attended three different classes so far and they have all been great, as a beginner I really felt included and supported which is great. A special thank you to Madleina, Felipe, Remy and some other trainers (I wish I would remember their names). Only one thing, some showers don't lock and I wish there were more hairdryers in the changing room but apart from that, so far I have had a very good experience at the gym, I genuinely recommend!

The staff are always present and happy to help, which makes it a really welcoming atmosphere. Felipe, the manager, is especially friendly and always has good vibes. Negative experience: Overall, the gym has some issues that hide all the good things in the end. On the bright side, there's plenty of equipment in decent shape (though a hip thrust machine would be nice). Most of the personal trainers are friendly, and the cleaning staff is always around. On the downside, weights are left everywhere except where they belong, and the staff doesn't seem to care. I've even seen some staff leaving weights out themselves too, which is unacceptable! Maybe they should start banning people who don't re-rack their weights so everyone can enjoy their workout. There's also a mold problem. If you look up at the ceiling, there's mold in many places, and the air conditioners are always leaking.

Fantastic experience: Great gym bought the day pass but had some issues getting in as it takes a bit to register your code to the door but the employees were very helpful! Would recommend!

Negative experience: The good points - large spacious 24hr gym with lots of equipment The bad points - Appalling management! -Very unhygienic gym as there is no hand sanitiser stations or equipment sanitiser. -Many of the machines are miss-aligned for example the pec/delt fly machine near entrance has one handle slightly higher than the other. -Lots of areas of dirt/dust or mould build up along mirrors and walls mostly at the treadmill area so its not healthy to be inhaling those particles. -The Wifi never works If the gym group were to employ a competent manager or at least educate the the current one to fix all of these problems outlined then id change my rating to 5 stars!

Positive experience: The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which creates such a positive atmosphere. The facility is well-maintained, making it a pleasure to work out here. They have a great variety of equipment , so I never get bored with my workouts. It can get a little crowded midday but overall I highly recommend this gym to anyone looking for a good fitness experience!

Positive experience: Great gym, good selection of equipment The only problem is that the free weight section is too small and only two benches means I'm always waiting for it to be free before starting chest day. However the staff are extremely helpful and friendly and I'd say it's the best thing about this gym

Fantastic experience: Well equipped and organised gym. It's located just at the heart of town and very much accessible.

Positive experience: The gym is a good gym. The air con is set to warm!! It becomes increasingly uncomfortable to workout it does not make sense. Why have the air con set to warm when infact cooling air is more refreshing when working out! Please sort this out it's ridiculous every time it's warm before I even start to work out! The other issue is the free weight area and the benched area. For a gym which is quite big the bench and free weights area is small and because it is small it is VERY difficult to find a time to ve able to use it comfortably. Otherwise the gym is good and the staff are great. Just don't hold high hopes for the benches and free weights section AND be prepared to workout in uncomfortably warmer conditions than other gyms

Negative experience: have been a gym member off and on for the last 6 years but I have never seen the gym this bad in respect of how it is getting managed The benches are falling apart and on one occasion the pin popped out when I was using it, no Wi-Fi does not seem to work anymore and it’s been like this for almost a week The two managers running the gym at the moment come across as useless, the chunkier manager out of the two comes across as passive aggressive especially when members leave their bags out on the Gym floor, what would be nice is to see a more of a professional approach and at the best of times comes she comes across as antisocial just like a school girl bully you never know what you are going to get with her in general she has no social skills.. The only thing I see both managers doing is trying to get members to do reviews on this site and I have even seen both managers taking members phones to put the review in which is unprofessional This gym is ideal for me due to my work life as it is closer to my workplace but how the gym is getting managed is very unprofessional. I am not going to move Gym’s because of bad management from the top Please fix the Wi-Fi which is an ongoing issue Please replace some of the benches to make it more safer for members to train. Please change your attitudes The PTs do amazing job and management are letting them down The PTs in this Gym could run this gym a lot more better The chunkier manager needs to change her attitude comes across as very two-faced At the end of the day this is my opinion Change needs to happen we are paying for a service

Positive experience: The gym is well equipped and friendly environment. I would suggest bringing back paper towels to wipe down machines as I have noticed that some members do not have towels with them. Plus I find the floor mats are too small and hard for the class workouts.

Positive experience: Quite compact compared to some other Gym Group stores I’ve been to but has most things you’d need and does the job. Can be a bit busy in the after work hours.

Positive experience: Good gym. They take care of it but sometimes too crowded. I prefer going after 8-9 pm.

Fantastic experience: Love the stairmasters here, the changing rooms are always tidy and lots of space to get your training done whether it’s weights cardio functional or just stretching ☺️

Negative experience: Pros - 24 hours - Reasonable range of gears - Good selection of protein drinks Cons - Slow to get a reply when you ask something on the website - Their chat support is never available - Protein drinks had been out of stock for three days - People leave weights on the floor - No wipes - WiFi is super slow or broken - Dumbbells and benches are wobbly because of their age - Toilets are dirty - Not enough barbell clips I am happy to pay twice or more for a better-quality 24/7 gym.

Negative experience: really wanted to like this gym but unfortunately i found the equipments a little too old and under-maintained when it comes to safety. Many of the benches had latches that weren’t working properly, causing the bench to fall back, which is a real safety hazard. Also wish there were smith machines with a lower stopper, but that’s just a personal preference

I started training here 6 months ago with my personal trainer Madleina Von Reding (Maddy) and I had incredible results! Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: By far the best The Gym I've been to in the whole of the UK. The staff are really helpful there, in particular, Rose who welcomed me during my first visit and kindly showed me where everything was which enabled me to have a very swift and efficient workout.

Negative experience: Better than Pure gym but that’s a low bar. It’s a great space and the trainers are friendly. But the layout it terrible and free weights area is unusable when even slightly busy due to the poor layout. Unfortunately it’s kitted out with Matrix equipment which looks pretty but terrible to use. I’m 5’5” and unable to use a number of pieces of equipment as it’s designed to be ONLY used by people of average height. A lot of the pin loaded equipment forces you into incorrect form. The benches are EXTREMELY unstable and dangerous as a result. Not enough selection of pin/plate loaded equipment. Huge cardio area that’s only ever 10% full. Equipment is left out of service for months at a time.

Positive experience: Would have been the same experience I have at other gym group gyms which is fine, but for the past few days the gym vauxhall is sweltering in heat :( i had to leave shortly after arriving as no air inside. Those are no conditions for people who are working out. Its actually cooler outside. Sort this out gym group ://

Fantastic experience: My recent personal training sessions with Vaida at the Vauxhall Branch have been life changing! I have seen improved tone, lost weight, gained stamina and increased strength, all in a short period of a few months thanks to Vaida's effective and highly professional coaching. Vaida's encouragement and extensive knowledge has enabled us to get the most out of each session injury free. Having her correctly demonstrate and guide me in the use of the gym equipment and floor exercises has also been invaluable. The 24/7 access and very reasonable costs are also a bonus. Thanks again for everything!

Negative experience: Pros: The gym has a breadth of equipment, I mostly get what I need to get done, and it is value for money. Now for the cons… Ever since the new management change earlier this year (early 2023) the gym has gone downhill. Here is what I’ve observed over last 6-7 months: 1. Staff on their phones in the lobby area for long periods of time. This area is supposed to be for the members to wait, pick up PT leaflets, to use the weighing scales. Why are the staff treating it as an extended staff room? It is a members’ area with a purpose. 2. Staff messing around on the gym floor taking videos of each other, laughing whilst pretending to work out. 3. Gym equipment EVERYWHERE, dumbbells not re racked, plates thrown around on the floor, cable attachments left on the gym floor, benches left in odd locations and way too close to each other. Prior to the management change the staff used to go around cleaning up and re racking. I shouldn’t have to say this: this isn’t a matter of preference, this is a matter of safety and hazard. I think someone will be injured very soon. 4. Gym equipment broken and left unfixed for months. Every quarter we have 2 maintenance days where the equipment is supposed to be fixed. Sadly, the gym has given up on fixing things on time. 5. General uncleanliness of equipment. The cleaners clean the gym floor but fail to wipe down equipment and weights. Every time I pick up a plate I check my hands and they’re always smudged with black residue. 6. And the cherry on the cake.. today one of the male toilets was left with poop stains and the other had diarrhoea all over the toilet. I kindly asked a member of staff to send a cleaner of which he replied “don’t ask me, I’m not on shift”. I then asked Tego (?) the new manager and she said okay. I checked 2.5 hours later and the issue was still there. Again, this is not a matter of preference, it is simply unsanitary for members. The bare basics are not being fulfilled at this gym. It’s really disappointing because it used to be a great gym before the management change.

Negative experience: It's very inconvenient that there isn't a sanitizing station and tissue for wiping down equipment and benches inside the gym. These are not even expensive items, so I can't understand why there are not. Nobody would want to use machine without considering others' sweat.

Negative experience: I been member in Vauxhall club since 2019! Today I had a guest and I used my guest pass but when we arrived at gym the invitation was on pending I ask the manager to help me with it but she just didn’t pay any respect as she was speaking with someone and having fun and laughing instead of doing her job so she didn’t even stand up to sort out my problem she just ignored me and she speaks very rude as I was speaking good with her! I know all the workers in the gym and all are good but today it was a first time I so her and I even asked her name she said why do you need my name and I was like what!!! And finally her name was Tego as she said,

Positive experience: Good gym overall. Lots of equipment and space and the staff seem friendly. 2 complaints, hence the 3-star rating. 1. People don't really re-rack their weights. It's common to spend a minute or two trying to find the right weights. Loaded bars left on racks and even on the ground. Dumbbells not sorted, that kind of thing. Not sure if this is a UK cultural thing (coming from Canada), but just makes working out that much harder. 2. Lack of wipes for equipment. Again, may be a cultural difference, but I'm used to gyms having wipes available that folks can use to clean their equipment after use. This gym used to have a single paper towel dispenser, but it seems to have been removed. Bring your own wipes or towel if you decide on this gym.

Fantastic experience: I had an induction with Tiegan (Manager). She was super reassuring and really helpful with understanding the gym equipment. I was talked through the gym app, given a tour and helped out with the body composition machine.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing gym! VERY friendly team who make me actually want to go train. From management, to the trainers, by far the nicest and most knowledgeable staff in the business today. They’re all super nice and take an interest in you no matter what fitness level you’re at, they will go above and beyond to help you! On the top of it, the environment is very clean and well-maintained and the gym and has a wide variety of facilities and equipment. Would highly recommend!
