Whether you’re looking to build your strength, tone muscles, improve flexibility or simply have fun while getting fitter, our classes offer something for everyone – from high-energy workouts to lower paced gentle sessions. We’ve even got a dedicated indoor cycling studio. 

Our group exercise classes bring people together, promoting not only physical wellbeing but also a supportive and fun social environment too. So, grab your water bottle, towel, and positive attitude – let’s smash those fitness goals together! 

Bouncing, spinning, rolling – your children are already natural-born gymnasts. So if you want to help them develop their physical skills, what better place to start than lessons for 3 years+ at Ogmore Valley Life Centre. 

Come along with your little ones aged under 4 years of age for a fun filled play. There’s a bouncy castle, soft mats as well as fun activities to keep your little ones fully entertained. 

Let your kids climb, splash or bounce around with friends in a safe, supervised arena. Just sit back, take photos, and store away some lovely memories.

A lifesaver if you are looking to keep your little ones busy, and always a treat for them (and you). Our holiday activities give children the opportunity to meet and make friends, discover new interests, explore and try out new sports and activities, and stay fit and healthy.

Rest assured that our friendly exercise professionals will find an activity that’s just right for you and then offer one-to-one support to gently increase your activity levels and improve your overall health.

We especially enjoy helping people who may find exercise challenging. That’s why we have developed the following community activity programmes on offer at various Halo centres across Bridgend County:

The library has a wonderful stock of adult fiction and reference books as well as a special section for children and teens including books, games and DVDs for hire. There is self-service photocopying and also Wi-Fi and computers to use and a whole range of bestselling eBooks and eAudiobooks to enjoy from home or in the gym, all for free!

Halo Leisure is a registered charity and Social Enterprise operating community-focused leisure facilities throughout Bridgend County, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Merthyr Tydfil County, Shropshire, Wiltshire and Stratford-upon-Avon.

Everything we do is about creating healthier happier communities for the good of the people who live and work in them. As a not-for-profit organisation, Halo doesn’t have shareholders like private companies. Instead, we reinvest profit straight back into the work we do in your area to enhance and improve the leisure and health facilities for everyone to enjoy.

Fantastic experience: Would definitely recommend this gym. The staff are really lovely, always happy, smiling and welcoming. The other gym attendees are nice and would say hi and greet you when you see other regulars. A friendly, non intimidating place with straight forward machines and a large space. They even offered to open early for me when they were closing at different hours for a bank holiday as I couldn't go during my usual hours, which is such a lovely gesture (I of course couldn't accept but the gesture alone was appreciated!) I only left because I moved away but was definitely sad to go.

Fantastic experience: Love this place, the staff are so friendly, plenty of equipment in the gym and a good choice of classes to do too. We also use the library here which has a good stock and selection of different books.
