Fantastic experience: Love training here! Great atmosphere and even better people!

Fantastic experience: Started at G7 through a beginners programme about 5-6 years ago. Was slightly nervous as this was my first time trying a combat sport. Gavin and Rob made me feel at ease almost instantly with their friendly welcoming nature. The gym is full of experienced and beginner grapplers (The medal wall speaks for itself) who are all extremely approachable and friendly. I’ve met lots of friends through the club all of whom will be friends for life. The club has some of the best coaches in Wales and is an absolute must for anyone looking to start or make a comeback to BJJ. Come and try it, you won’t be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: G7 BJJ has an awesome squad of boys and is a great place to train. The coaches break down complex techniques, making even the toughest moves feel understandable and achievable. Highly recommend for anyone thinking about giving it a shot!

Fantastic experience: Started with Gavin at G7 about 3 months ago doing private sessions, even with his packed schedule he always makes time to fit me in on a saturday. He is great very patient and unbelievably knowledgeable. I would highly recommend joining the school or even getting in contact about privates if your just looking for the basics.

Fantastic experience: Wow …. What can I say …….. What a fantastic set of lads at this club … have I been ? No … then how do I know I hear you ask …… well I’ve just been to the Rome open and European No Gi championships ….. I was a lone traveller …. I met the head coach Gavin at the airport with some of his lads … and their friends and family …… well I was blown away … talk about hospitality and kindness ….. this team really took me under their wing… I was a total stranger to them but they looked after me ‘Big time’ Right from stepping off the plain , transport sharing , eating and drinking with them , The head coach even took time out to warm me up pre comp… Rob and his family bought me beer and real looked out for me …. Leon bought me a 72 hour train pass and Gavin Thomas loaned me his shorts ! …. Gavins mate even laughed at my jokes lol…. Anyway … I won the Rome open and also the No GI euros at my age belt and weight but when I’m even older …. It won’t be the medals I remember…. No … it will be the kindness and gentleness of the members of this club ….. !
