Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this place, what a treat and just what I needed, beautifully set in the woods we stayed in a fantastic 4 bed lodge stunning fit out, comfortable, luxurious, pet friendly and peaceful! Food at the Nest was really good! I tried a few meals and cannot fault anything! Friendly staff throughout our stay the attention to detail is commendable!!

Fantastic experience: Difficult to say what I enjoyed the most because to me the whole experience was wonderful and because it's pet friendly it has one up on most holiday resorts.

Fantastic experience: Myself and my friends stayed at the lodge on lake for 2 40ths. It was absolutely stunning. Accommodation was well maintained and equipt. The surrounding grounds were well maintained and cared for. The shop was beautiful and had plenty of things to buy. Including lots of old school sweets that helped with the 3 hour journey home. We had cocktails made for us in our lodge. Then enjoyed a meal at the restaurant on the grounds. All delicious and of a high standard. Would highly recommend Bainland for a family getaway or a getaway with friends for a special occasion. We will defiantly be back in the near future .

Fantastic experience: Stayed a few days with my wife and mother in law. Nice trips out and about, Woodhall just down the road is nice to stroll around. The lodges are warm and kitted out well. The Nest does nice food and cracking pudding shots!! We will come back!

Fantastic experience: Our family had a fantastic stay at Bainland, our Lodge was lovely, very modern with really nice interior decoration. Really good size lounge and kitchen area. Rooms are a great sizes all with large bathrooms with big showers. The Nest restaurant is really nice to have drinks and food. Staff are all really helpful and friendly. Highly recommended, looking forward to returning next year.

Fantastic experience: Wow. Absolutely first class experience from the second we decided to book to the moment we left. We had over 30 people across 3 lodges. We had communal dining, in lodge dining, in lodge cocktails, private room for Sunday lunch, the works!!!! Nothing was too much trouble and the sheer quality of everything sets this place ahead of all the competition. We will be back, frequently. Thank you to you all.

Fantastic experience: We visit around 3 times per year. It’s dog friendly which means he gets a little holiday too. The lodges are great. You can get food delivered to them which is amazing. Always arrives hot. The seating area outside of the restaurant is lovely, it looks fantastic since they’ve done it up. We’ve only been in the spa once, which is lovely but the jets weren’t working in the pool. Staff are friendly & helpful. We’ve stayed in around 6 different lodges so far but The Ponds is our favourite. Love it. We’re back at Christmas ☺️

Fantastic experience: What can say Bainland Lodge Retreats is by far the best lodge retreat we have been too, from the first moment you get here when you are welcomed by the gate security, who are really helpful and welcoming and every member of staff we met and spoke to all really helpful and friendly, the lodges are 100 percent AMAZING , a special mention to house keeping staff the Lodge we stayed in ( Dragonfly) was spotlessly clean not 1 fault , we would definitely come back here and some of the lodges are dog friendly even the restaurant is dog friendly, this has been so relaxing we really don't want to leave

Fantastic experience: Absolutely lovely place to go for a holiday with our dog, enclosed garden, dog friendly restaurant and shop, lots of places to go for nice walks. Our lodge was lovely, clean, well equipped, and included nice touches like flip flops and soft dressing gowns to use. All the staff are really friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back and highly recommend the place.

Fantastic experience: Place is amazing , brilliant for your dog , lodge's have secure gardens for your dog. Excellent restaurant, live music Saturday and games room. Great play area for children , mini landrover course, small farm with goats, donkeys, and chickens. Tennis court , archery and small climbing wall. A few minutes walk away, and you have much longer woodland walks. And it has a small shop with essentials. Secure entry to Bainland with welcoming gate security person,and all staff extremely friendly and helpful. We found a small gap at the bottom of our fenced garden where our small dog might of squeezed through , mentioned it to reception, and instantly maintenance person was sent and fixed . Great place , recommended

Fantastic experience: Just come back from a week in The Den. Staff friendly and helpful, lodge and grounds all clean, attention to detail In the little things is spot on. Even supply a jar of chocolates and dishwasher tablets. Would visit again.

Positive experience: This is a hidden gem! Superb place to stay. We stayed in the Homeland Lodge. 8 beds and 8 en-suites all large, lovely and clean. Facilities and accommodation all very luxurious. This is a great place for families and their dogs. The only problem we had to contend with were the mosquitoes!! Perhaps a citronella candle in the lodges as standard would benefit without having to purchase them separately! Otherwise as a party of 14 we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic experience: Booked Bainland Lodge Resorts for my wife's birthday! It is everything we expected and more. The Nest is a gorgeous restaurant. The lodge we stayed in, Kingfisher, is faultless. New fitted kitchen for anyone wanting self-catering. Lovely king size bed for those not interested in cooking at all! Idyllic setting over looking the Pond and of course your Hot tub! Perfect ..just perfect.

Fantastic experience: Just got back from 5 days staying at the Barn for a 60th Birthday Celebration. I cannot fault this place. The service was amazing, the attention to detail was incredible, they think of everything. Facilities were great so much to do for the children. I would highly recommend and will definitely be booking to come back again. Thank you for a lovely week!

Fantastic experience: 21 of us (plus 5 dogs) had a wonderful weekend at the English Garden villa. The living/dining area is particularly stunning. Special thanks to the in-lodge dining team - our chef produced tapas and paella, a 3-course dinner and Sunday lunch for all of us, all on time and with good humour. The quality was high, the portions generous and the presentation was superb (thank you Graham). Printed menus were a lovely touch and Diana provided an excellent front-of- house service with genuine care and a smile.

Fantastic experience: We stayed for the weekend lovely place very relaxing stayed in Ranch 1 with private garden and hot tub , very well decorated inside and out and very clean , we visited The Nest onsite twice food was amazing service was as well .The only negative for us was the noisy hot tub at night waking us up. We would come back .

Positive experience: In a lodge aimed for 6 but only 4 of us, it was a squash. An absolute dirth of shelving to put items on, brush,combs etc especially in bathrooms and bedrooms and no drawers at all for items of clothing. Just 7 hangers in an open hanging space. Inadequate seating that squashes to nothing. Staff in Stores pleasant but I object to no cash payments, only cards. Plus was jacuzzi, bathrobes and very thick towels. In kitchen brew facilities which includes milk and for those that have, doggy treats.

Fantastic experience: We have just returned from our 2nd stay here. We stayed in Wyberton Lodge it was lovely well equipped and tastefully decorated. The new added fences around the garden area made it so much better for our dog. We had a celebration night in the Nest we had a small problem which was sorted immediately and Gavin looked after us to ensure we enjoyed ourselves, the whole of the staff are brilliant, very welcoming and friendly. We have already booked again for next year Thank you all for a wonderful break

Fantastic experience: Lovely place to stay with or without kids. We like to stay with family once a year and visit as a couple also once a year! Nothing negative to say, highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: We have been 3 times in the last 12 months ! It's fab for dogs. The only thing that lets down is the food, last 2 trips I have had to send good back (first time the butternut squash katsu was so salty even after they made it again and our trip this week I found a massive fish bone in the fish pie). Also, the menu does not change at all and they do not do food specials. However, the staff are so nice and helpful. Loved the pool, sauna and steam room, along with the private hot tub

Fantastic experience: We really enjoyed our stay at Bainland, the lodge was both beautiful and clean with it's hot tub included. The staff were friendly and prompt and the activities were fun, one small note is that the cycle track is offsite (a 5 minute cycle down the road), both otherwise we were very happy with our stay.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic place ! The staff was absolutely brilliant! We had quite a few special requests due to the kids having some dietary restrictions and we were always treated in a very friendly, welcoming way. The restaurant is absolutely amazing - excellent food quality. There is plenty of things to do on site (free or reasonably priced). The lodge was spacious, clean and beautifully furnished. We will definitely be back soon !

Fantastic experience: An amazing place with fantastic accommodation with high quality finishes and well equipped. The hot tub was brilliant and we made total use of it. The site was good for the children and has many bookable activities and a good and safe play area. There are plenty of good local walks and paths to cycle with some good local tourist attractions not too far away. The site has a great gym, shop selling all your needs and and great bar & restaurant. There is also a brilliant spa and indoor swimming pool but does only allow a certain number of people in at a time and pre-booking is required especially if the site is busy. We would definitely recommend and will be returning for that well deserved unwind and rejuvenate. The website and reviews are a really accurate reflection of reality and you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: From the reception staff to the activities team, the service was exceptional. Please pass on my thanks to the activities team for being so patient and lovely. My two children loved the climbing, 4×4 driving and karting. We had a lovely evening in the restaurant and also had two very tasty takeaways. The staff definitely look after your furry friends here. Our dog was treated to a puppaccino every time we visited the nest. Also, thank you to the lovely cleaner of the swimming pool / gym area. The gym was sparkly every morning and she worked so hard to make sure everything was cleaned between swim sessions. The lodges themselves were clean and had everything you could need, with the garden being the most dog friendly I've ever come across. A brilliant little break. Thank you

Fantastic experience: First time coming to this place and everything is of the highest quality. Villa was lovely. Rooms were spacious and the social area was perfect. Having the cover for the swimming pool was a good touch as it did rain for a few days but this allowed the children to keep playing. Only down side would be the price of drinks in the main bar/restaurant area. Very much London prices.

Fantastic experience: Just had a lovely weekend here, we originally booked a lakeside retreat which at first glance was great but after the first night we were both crippled in back pain from the solid bed, spoke to a manager who didn’t hesitate in moving us to a 3 bed much newer lodge which was amazing! The staff are all fantastic, we love the setup of the park and its facilities e.g in lodge dining and the stores we spent many pounds on both can’t wait to return.

Fantastic experience: Once again amazing stay in a beautiful lodge. All staff are always happy to help and any problems they are very quick to sort nothing is to much. The standard of the loadges are outstanding very clean and beautiful decor. There site is beautiful and somthing to do for all ages. Very relaxing environment. The spa is amazing and the gym very well equipped. The food is amazing in the nest and again beautiful Decor and very friendly staff. Can't wait to return again very soon.

Fantastic experience: OK so where to start. From the very first moment we drove down the front entrance, everything was well looked after and the guy on the gate was very polite and made us feel welcome. We was a little early (eager I guess) but that was fine as we took the dogs for a walk around and met the donkeys, goats and chickens. Nice touch. Then we went got keys and parked up at our cabin. We had retreat 1 .......beautifully presented well maintained. Everything was clean today laid out great. The dogs went for a run around in the fully enclosed garden and enjoyed the freedom as there was lots of room for them to run around in. The weather was wet, so we decided on ordering in some food from the menu. The chips were very good, and we felt they were good value, but the buger was overpriced £16 for burger and chips is expensive, but it was nice, we understand why its this price so no complaints. My wife had the pizza and enjoyed it, that was good value. On to maybe the highlight of the whole trip, the bed. It was the most comfy bed I have ever slept on. It was huge and I had the best sleep I've had for a long time. The shower was really good I loved the duel shower that was fun. In to the hot tub we went to conclude our evening The 3 nights we booked was really enjoyable. No negative feed back at all. Thank you to all at bainland Lodge Chris and sarah

Fantastic experience: Perfect facilities and surroundings to celebrate a significant milestone birthday with my partner and pooch. We all enjoyed a few days of relaxation and exploring the area whilst enjoying the superb lodge and onsite facilities. Special mention for all the welcoming staff who certainly make this place special. We would love to return one day.

Fantastic experience: The cabin we stayed in was well equipped very comfy beds and sofas. The meals you could have delivered from the restaurant on site were very good.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic 2 night stay in the Goose Hut. Loved the hot tub and hammock in the fenced off private area. Bed was super comfy and the kitchen area kitted out really well. Only thing lacking was an area to hang clothes. The restaurant and outside dining area was fantastic and the service from all staff second to none. Loved sitting by the log burners keeping toasty! Live music on the Sat night was a fab lil bonus. A wonderful experience all round and definitely recommended.

Fantastic experience: It's a great relaxing place with lovely people making the experience a pleasure and enjoyable. Accommodation was clean and well looked after. The restaurant and food was excellent and a great atmosphere. Will be happy to return for a break.

Fantastic experience: This was the first time we all stayed away together as a family and baby grandchildren. Ages between 6 months and 56 years. We had the bunk house and it was great. Plenty of room, well equipped, very clean, nice size garden, lovely jacuzzi and not overlooked at all. A really nicely designed park with lots of room between buildings, a beautiful interior to the main building and restaurant, and very helpful and friendly staff. So different to the norm. Well worth the extra money to stay here. Family are talking about making it an annual event as they enjoyed it so much

Positive experience: We loved our stay at Bainland; we had a Ranch Retreat for two and were impressed by the privacy and quality of the retreat. The setting is fantastic, and the shared facilities are well-kept and equipped with the best equipment (gym etc.). We enjoyed walking around the local area; however, it was a delight to stay at the retreat all day, using the hot tub and quiet setting. The reason I've had to give four stars is due to a few minor quality issues, which I wouldn't expect for a place with such a price tag (£850 for three nights). We reported the problems to the management, who were apologetic and responsive, but I wish I didn't have to complain. The issues included black mould in the shower floor grout, a slow/blocked sink, foul-smelling drain odours, a missing gate latch (limiting our privacy), flickering lighting, and damaged paintwork. These aren't significant issues, and I hate to complain, but I expected better. It won't put us off returning, as we loved it so much, but I hope Bainland will act on our feedback and ask their staff to check/report these issues before guests arrive.

Fantastic experience: Such an amazing and high quality place to stay, our lodge was fenced off and the only time someone came into to the garden was to check the hot tub temperature. It’s a bit expensive but definitely worth it and a lot cheaper if you have more people going with you.

Positive experience: Only 3 stars for the room as we were in the shepherds hut and there was no wardrobe and no space for clothes. The other problem we had was our dog escaped from the compound the shepherds hut was in, it needs to be dog secure. Other lodges were so be careful when booking. Apart from that it's a great place to stay , staff friendly and very helpful.

Fantastic experience: Just got back from a fantastic 3 night stay we went for a relaxing break and it certainly delivered, the staff were fantastic and could not be more helpful, the food at the nest was stunning and the location and layout of the park was so serene we didn't want to leave. we will definitely be returning .

Fantastic experience: Had a fabulous time with all the family. We stayed in the Lincoln farmhouse which was amazing. Plenty of room, lovely decor and great facilities. Only thing missing was a washing machine. The hot tubs were great and the fire pit was well used. Would recommend and will very likely return there.

Fantastic experience: Just back from a fantastic 3 night stay (Fri-Mon) with our 6 month old and pooch. Couldn't fault the place. Fantastic food, excellent service, very relaxing. Will definitely be returning and would recommend. Have never been anywhere that dogs are so welcomed, in fact our dog Betty was spoilt all weekend with puppachinos and sausages! Thank you for the best weekend.

Fantastic experience: We had the best holiday. Our lodge was perfectly equipped, the kids play park is epic, the restaurant serves delicious food and all the staff were brilliant. Would absolutely go back.

Fantastic experience: Spacious accommodation for large groups. Modern comfortable rooms and ensuites. Great outdoor area for socialising and grass area if you have pets. Restaurant and bar area is a beautiful place to either eat or just have a drink. Booked archery which was great fun. Would highly recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: We had such a lovely holiday here we stayed in the big safari tents. The kids loved it especially the play park , swimming ,mini land-rovers and much more ...tha staff are so lovely and friendly aswell well definitely be back

Fantastic experience: Lovely quiet place so safe for the kids to run free, lots to do near by and on site, pool could be bigger, so you could use it more without having to book, only one slot!

Positive experience: Nice enough lodges...not as clean as you would expect...I had to clean the loo when we got there...very quiet and nice grounds...restaurant nice...

Fantastic experience: This was our third visit and best one yet. Accommodation was clean, modern and thought out. The facilities of the park are the best around. Swimming, tennis, bikes, beautiful park and loads more. Fire pit was a added bonus. Kids loved it amd can't wait till our next visit. Thank you Bainland

Positive experience: Overall we had a lovely stay in one of the Lakeside Lodges with a hot tub. We travelled with our 9 month old and we had plenty of space inside 1. Note check-in really is 4pm and not a minute earlier - not ideal as I needed to feed our baby and prepare his food (I wasn't able to get an early check-in ) 2. The highchair provided was really not suitable and not clean thankfully I'd packed his GrabnGo booster seat and had this as back up 3. The lodge itself was nice - needed some TLC in places and for the price tag I'd expect it to be looked after better 4. The restaurant whilst it's lovely it felt quite overpriced - however there was a good selection 5. Pool is lovely now it's been upgraded but it's small and they still offer timed slots - not ideal with our baby as we where over run with very excited older kids and the pool just isn't big enough for nearly 15+ people and changing facilities whilst new aren't great - baby changing table is metal and extremely high Overall nice stay - we may return when he's a bit older

Fantastic experience: We stayed in the Safari Tent during end of May BH weekend. The tent was amazing. There is plenty of space inside, beds are comfortable, kitchen and rooms are well equipped. Everything was clean and the whole experience was great. Wood for the log burner is provided daily to keep you warm during nights, but oil heaters are also provided. Food in the Nest restaurant was delicious and restaurant offers good selection of various meals. Kids really enjoyed large playground and hot tubes. We also used bbq provided on the decking outside the tent. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: Our experience was of the safari tents, which of course are different to the many different lodges at Bainland. The safari lodges are described as luxury and perfect for glamping. Sadly, our experience didn't meet that description. Our tent was really dark, lighting was an afterthought, with random desk lamps around the tent, not ideal for trying to prepare food, cook, or even read. And having non induction friendly frying pans for an induction hob doesn't make cooking easier either. It wasn't the warmest of weeks and whilst I get, it's a tent, there could have been better heaters (one tripped a fuse as the top level was powered off of a single extension lead). The outdoor area could have done with a firepit or external heater and some comfy seating to allow you to enjoy time on the decking more. Staff at the Nest were friendly, but both times we ate the food service was slow. Which was a shame as the food on both occasions was good. If breakfast is going to be an hour, give us that context up front so we can decide to go elsewhere, or at least ensure we have drinks etc. Overall the experience didn't match what we hoped for, Woodhall Spa however is delightful.

Positive experience: Nice few days away ! Great adventure park ! Lodge a little tired, but acceptable. The food ordering app didn't work for us, so had to order at restaurant and food took nearly an hour to receive ! Not ideal for hungry children and adults ! The restaurant was really nice, but fairly empty. I think this may be price ! A few of us gave the Archery a go, and it was first rate, this was mainly due to the young instructor Would definitely return.

Fantastic experience: First of all I just want to confirm Bainland is nothing like centre parks. It’s absolute poles apart from centre parks in soo many different ways. I visited with my wife and 8 month old Monday to Friday and we stayed in Bear which is one of the hunting inspired lodges overlooking one of the lakes. It was amazing and so glad we payed extra for the privilege. The lodge itself was well equipped with small oven and hob. There was a log burner in our cabin with a little oven built into it if you wanted to use it. I believe all units on site have hot tubs, they work perfectly, just take the lid off and it’s ready to go. There was nothing better than chilling in the hot tub and watching the wildlife on the lake. Sublime. There’s 2 TV’s in the lodge with good WiFi coverage. No stone is left unturned all across the park, the owner has really thought about the clientele he wants to attract (no riffraff) even the small shop on site stocked 3 different brands of champagne along with premium gins like monkey47 which is one of my personal favourites. All the units on site have ample parking and all seem to have good pitches so regardless of what you book you won’t be disappointed, just depends if you want the added luxury of being on one of the lakes or one of the private villas if you have deep pockets. The lodges are all very private, we even had a walk around to the tent area and they are all spaced out very well with plenty of room in between. The nest is a great spot to eat and if even compare it to some top restaurants in London I’ve eaten in terms of environment. Again kudos to the owner as the attention to detail is fantastic, the outside area reminded of being abroad, quite classy, exotic looking all looked to be reclaimed beams. The park area is also brilliant although my daughter was still a little young for it. The wood and design used reminded me of the wicker man ride at Alton towers. Very smart. All the staff are brilliant, they all seem very happy to work there, they were very accommodating and helpful. Just a few negatives I found during my stay, which takes nothing away from the experience we had it’s just more a feedback perspective. 1, There’s no disabled bays in the parking area (although I do find Lincolnshire in general very anti disabled) 2, There was a crack in the shower tray which was quite sharp, we just avoided standing there for the duration. 3, Was told upon booking that logs were delivered every morning but we at to ring reception everyday to request them. 4, The 24 person limit for the swimming pool is too many for a small pool, it was chaotic with people getting ready to leave and people trying to get ready to get in the pool. We had to change our baby on the floor next to the shower tray and her head next to the bin which wasn’t ideal. I know they were a work in progress and would say this was our only real gripe but like I said it didn’t have any a negative impact on our holiday. We are already looking at booking one of the executive lodges for next year.

Fantastic experience: Despite a couple of little problems, that were resolved quickly, we all loved our stay. The children, young and old, enjoyed it as well. The lodges were lovely and very well fitted out. The staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We had a couple of dogs and they were very well catered for (little treats at the Nest) Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic experience: Stayed here last week Mon -Fri, loved it.Stayed in the Pointon lodge couldn't fault anything lovely and private hot tub great fun, clean and everything you need in the lodge.Very dog friendly our Greyhound loved it even though it was out of her OCD routine, and staff so pleasant, the food from the restaurant delivered to your door was so nice..you don't need to take anything apart from swimwear ...oh and alcohol for the hot tub experience ..Thanks Bainland

Fantastic experience: Stayed with a group of friends for a relaxing weekend. Perfect!!! Beautiful lodge with every detail thought out. Lovely restaurant with great atmosphere and the cocktails were delicious too. The location means you have woodland walks on the doorstep and only one mile to walk into the quaint town of Woodhall Spa. Good for families, groups or couples looking to get away. There are activities such as archery, bike hire and Segways. A new pool is under construction. But if you want peace and quiet then you can get that too. We ordered some grazing platters to have in the lodge the first night which were delicious. Thank you to all the staff too for being so kind and helpful, making our stay memorable.

Fantastic experience: Fabulous weekend away with family. Cot and Highchair provided for our 10 month old baby who loved the llamas! We were so impressed with the facilities and gorgeous interiors of the lodge, so clean, comfortable beds, luxury towels and robes, fantastic kitchens - full of le Creuset! Even the dog had a welcome pack!!! Great food in the restaurant, attentive staff. My husband worked from home on the Friday, ordering room service, which he thoroughly enjoyed. 30 minute walk into town, lovely woods to explore and then a relax in the hot tub. Couldn’t recommend more, if you want to stay somewhere where the owners have thought of everything with a luxury feel, BOOK!

Fantastic experience: We had a very lovely stay in The Gallop lodge. Was very clean and welcoming. There was 8 of us and 1 dog and the welcome pack for our dog was very thoughtful and lovely too. Hot tub was checked by staff every day and always made sure our stay was ok. Big garden with a fire pit too! Visited the restaurant/bar on the Saturday evening and we sat outside by the log fire which has all been done up beautifully and if you were cold there was blankets you could help yourself too. Great park area for the kids to run around and play in, plenty of activities to do with the kids as well. We very much enjoy coming to stay at Bainland and can’t wait to see what the swimming pool is going to look like after the renovation. Staff were all very friendly even the lovely security team at the front gate. Thank you for a very pleasant and lovely stay

Fantastic experience: Fantastic accommodation, little problem with Hot tub during the stay but fixed straight away, perfect for dogs with Enclosed garden , will definitely return and would recommend.

Positive experience: Just returned from a wonderful weekend break , stayed at the English garden village. Deco was very modern, cutlery and crockery was all high end, very clean and spacious. Pool was warm and hot tubs maintained daily. Staff very welcome, especially Jason the security guard, who gave us some milk for our small children when on a Sunday night we ran out and the nearest petrol station was closed. Only minor things that made it a 4 star and not 5 include: Broken seat in hot tub, kept floating off, Arcade game wasn’t functioning, cue sticks had no ends on, the older chap tending to the llamas wasn’t very helpful and didn’t make any eye contact when we asked for some directions. Otherwise a wonderful stay

Negative experience: Very unprofessional ! I stayed there with my 10 months old baby All day all night, 24/7 they were doing building works right next to our lodge My baby kept on crying and couldn’t sleep at all because of loud noise of power tools! I would never ever go to this place again !

Fantastic experience: Just spent the week at Bainlands. What a lovely experience it was. The accommodation was out of this world. Decorated to a very high finish. The accommodation had a warm out door swimming pool and hot tub. The park itself is a posh centre parcs. O ly this is far better.Try this place. It's very well run. Plenty to do and Woodhall Spa is amazing. Can't wait to return.

Positive experience: The cabin and hot tub were lovely, as was the restaurant (excellent cocktails). They’d obviously recently spent money on the restaurant and bar, and it was well worth it. However other facilities felt like they’d been left to run down and get shabby which was out of kilter with the resort being a luxury place to say. The pool wasn’t of the standard you’d expect, though the kids enjoy any pool it felt grotty, with rusty, paint chipping, cold showers and generally grubby feel. Bikes to hire old, rundown and the trikes downright unsafe. Though the cabin was overall very pleasant, some of the fixtures and fittings of the cabins felt dated and not as well maintained as they could have been. Overall a pleasant setting and stay, but not sure it’s up to the pricetag, it’s not a cheap place to stay.

Positive experience: Lodges look nice from the outside but are abit rough round the edges inside. Bit of a led down as they look new clean and modern from the outside. They need new furniture, scuffs touching up etc.

Fantastic experience: Really nice site, clean, quiet and well maintained. We stayed in the Lincoln Farmhouse Lodge and there was ample room for 9 adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs. The lodge had a pool table which provided plenty of evening entertainment for the adults and the arcade machine kept the kids entertained. All open plan downstairs but with enough space for everyone to be together but also in separate groups. Kitchen had all the amenities plus 2 dishwashers and 2 American style fridges. We'd definitely have another family break here. Well worth booking in at the Nest restaurant too. Only gripe would be the prices in the onsight shop. They're overinflated especially when there's a coop and sainsburys just up the road. Don't let that put you off though! No better way to wind up a relaxing break than a dip in one of the 2 hot tubs!!

Fantastic experience: Take me back, please.... It was a relaxing weekend in a beautiful setting. Everything was top notch; first class linen, layouts, appliances, furniture. It was amazing. The food at the Nest was great, too. The only downside to our stay - minor - is that in the dark, we couldn't find our lodge as the names aren't easy to read. And that's the only thing!

Fantastic experience: Amazing place to stay. We stayed for 4 nights in a couples retreat. We took a crazy dog with us who loved the garden and decking area. Everything in the lodge was of high quality and a big bonus was having the hot tub leading off from the bathroom. Very dog friendly site. Close to the small town with some lovely shops an fantastic dog walk a mile away . We will definitely be going back.

Positive experience: This place is a fantastic quiet retreat in one of the most beautiful parts of the country. The accommodation was brilliant and had all mod cons plus hot tubs, pool table, games machines, fully fitted kitchen, masive decked area, lake, fire pit and a enclosed area with each lodge. Its a dog friendly place. There's an amazing childrens play area and a small but ok private pool on site. The site has an onsite restaurant and bar and that is why its only 4 stars. Our party booked a table and pre-ordered food. We booked because it was my daughter-in-laws birthday. We arranged for the restaurant to bring out the cake and sing happy birthday with our desert. Not only did they forget one of the pre-ordered meals and one of the drinks, they also took the cake to the wrong table and sang happy birthday to the wrong person even when they protested it wasnt their birthday. Needless to say the surprise was lost. Great park but dont use the restaurant.

Fantastic experience: My partner and I have just returned home from a Monday-Friday break. We stayed in a ranch retreat and all I can say is wow. What an amazing time we had, the lodge was just amazing! It was very clean, well equipped and cosy. The hot tub was fabulous! Every single staff member we saw was happy, welcoming and extremely helpful. We are already looking at dates to returned in the new year. You have everything you could need on site but also, there is so much to do and see around the neighbouring villages! Thank you so much Bainland for the best weeks break we’ve had for a long time!!

Fantastic experience: So well thought out accommodation beautifully appointed. Secure garden made it for our dogs as it rained incessantly. New restaurant & bar are flashy and welcoming. Staff were lovely, a credit to themselves and the family owners. My sniffy attitude to lodge holidaying completely dispelled.

Fantastic experience: Myself and 5 other females stayed in the big beast tents and had the most amazing long weekend away! Staff are absolutely amazing pre-booking and whilst we stayed. Maintenance were lovely and the Nest is seriously worth a visit ! Incredible walks and facilities, recommend staying here! We will see you next year for another stay!!

Fantastic experience: Such a lovely place, from booking to check out everyone was kind and friendly. the food in the restaurant was brilliant, the lodge was spotless and very well appointed. Woodhall spa is a beautiful town to wonder around. we have ages ranging from 11 to 79 and everyone loved it. especially the dog

Fantastic experience: Great short break for us with Dixie. Friendly staff. Food and drinks delivered was handy when we used it. Clean and compact lodge. Our Red Sky accommodation was ideal with an enclosed area and in a quiet spot. The hot tub was great too!

Positive experience: Great place friendly staff but in the restaurant if you are vegan you will be hungry after your meal the nut roast instead of the beef is the same price yet you have no yorkshire pudding or Cauliflower cheese ..they could just have the vegan version with extra roast potato and plain Cauliflower..and no vegan version for a starter ..

Fantastic experience: Absolutely Incredible!! Stayed here with my family in the English Country Villa. It was unbelievably massive, absolutely spotless! The pool was lovely and warm with floats and pool noodles, also very clean. The two hot tubs were checked by staff everyday to make sure levels were okay. Great big fire pit, lounge chairs, 2 large fridges, more crockery and cutlery than you could imagine or need. Bedrooms were lovely, big open showers, beds were so comfy, loads of spare towels and robes and slippers! Shop was so cute and restaurant was decent, staff have been lovely, even the Llamas were friendly. 100% recommend, brilliant weekend!

Fantastic experience: We stopped in chestnut, for my daughter freinds 30th birthday, had the birthday pack put in made it so special for her, the lodge was so clean and tidy also so spacious big thank you to Bainlands and house keeping staff, so peaceful, also we had food in the restaurants it was delicious

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fabulous place. We had a family gathering of 32 people and everyone was so impressed with the park. Take away order for 32 was delivered perfect and lovely and hot. Food in the Nest restaurant was amazing. Will definitely go back. Highly recommend.

Positive experience: A really lovely, quiet park. The facilities are good. It's a bit different from somewhere like the commercialism of Centre Parcs. The lodge we stayed in had its own pool, and it was stunning, amply stocked with all of the essentials. Massive, squishy sofas and lots of nooks and crannies for sitting. Beautiful place.

Positive experience: Just arrived back from a lovely 4 night break in Shepherds Delight. This place is wonderful and Shepherds Delight was perfect for the Dog and I, it was so so quiet and peaceful with a garden that could be closed off from the rest of the site. The addition of a Hot Tub and VERY friendly team was perfect. My only gripe was the smell in and around the Hut. It was pretty awful if I'm honest and when I raised it with reception others have complained in the last week so they think that it's coming from the adjoining farm but they were going to investigate as had been notified by other holiday makers who stayed in that hut.Despite that I will be returning

Fantastic experience: Had a fantastic week in one of the Pinchbeck lodges with the family and a happy spaniel. Accommodation was spacious , well equipped and very comfortable with the added benefit of a hot tub. The kids loved the activities including climbing wall, archery and racing trikes. Tennis courts and badminton courts all available too for free so dabbled at this too. Surrounding woodland walks were a welcomed bit of shade as it was scorching and the local village of Woodhall Spa was lovely. We ate at 'The Nest' bistro on site which had an excellent selection of drinks and food - the pizzas were very good. All in all an excellent family holiday and the Bainland staff were all superb too. Highly recommended.

Positive experience: Lovely place so quite and peaceful not alot to do for older children pubs near by lovely for food couldn't eat on site as its only outdoor eating and they have massive wasp problem tom who runs archery was great with kid's and took time to help them all ..lovely. week relaxing

Positive experience: Fantastic accommodation , each place had good size space. Bar not finished at time I write this but waiting staff in outside seating area were great. Not much to do for older teenage kids , younger kids will love the various play areas. All staff have been polite and helpful.

Fantastic experience: Pricey but nicey. We go every year since 2013. Just love it. Steadily improves each time we go. It started as a caravan and camp site, eventually changing into a mini holiday resort with hot tub lodges. It has an indoor pool, kids mini electric car track, archery and climbing facilities. New since covid is the 24 hour gated security which is a nice touch. This year, the already lovely bar and restaurant is being rebuilt to a fabulous standard with a huge covered outdoor area containing log burners. The kids play area is also growing with new items being built through summer. We get a returner discount, but it's still not a cheap place to stay. Also it's a fair walk to the town for families or people with limited mobility, with a very limited local taxi service. The site should invest in a simple shuttle service of maybe four times a day in and out of town for a couple of pounds. Especially for local events such as the 40s weekend.

Fantastic experience: High quality lodges in a great location at Woodhall Spa. Nice quiet location and very picturesque. There are activities for kids, a nice bar/restaurant with outside seating. There is also an on site shop. All staff are very friendly. A great base to explore Lincolnshire. We would definitely come again.

Fantastic experience: We had a brilliant family holiday in one of the large villas with private pool. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the accommodation is absolutely brilliant. Can't wait to go back!
