Fantastic experience: My daughter has just started in the acro development team and she loves it. Also the teachers are really kind. I highly recommend this gymnastics club to others.

Fantastic experience: Been going to a toddler session in the morning for some months. 3yr grandson loves the freedom of exploring the gym equipment for the 45mins. Staff are all lovely too. Popular during holiday periods.

Fantastic experience: My boys have been coming to the club since they were just walking in the pre school classes and are now in the recreational classes. They love their sessions! The staff on the desk and In the gym are very friendly. The coaches are excellent and really know their stuff. The sessions are really well organised and you can see that safety is their main priority. Highly recommend Xcel!

Negative experience: Staff are rude and talk to you like a child, they don’t accept card payment only cash or cheque which rings alarm bells of a tax dodge, they seemingly don’t communicate as I spoke to a woman on the phone who said it was okay to pay late one week (wasn’t passed on and they had a pop at the girls grandparent for it being late) charge a fortune just for a leotard, they’ve “passed a badge” after one visit and expect us to pay a fiver each time which is a joke, how can you pass a grade after one day?? and when my two girls were there I watched them stand around for 15 minutes doing absolutely nothing for the session as the trainer was dealing with a sick child, who marched the little girl around with her shouting “I don’t do sick” was appalling behaviour the little girl was so upset and embarrassed and the woman was flapping about looking for someone to take her off her. Totally unprofessional. I’ve heard from the family’s still there that lots of good coaches and families have left this club with good reason. It’s purely a money making machine with little regard to the actual safety and wellbeing of the children or families. Oh and you pay the same amount every month regardless if it’s a 3, 4 or 5 week month, again stinks of laziness and poor management to me. It’s a real shame as my girls really did enjoy the friendships they made with the other kids but I’m not paying a fortune to be spoken to the way they do. I don’t mind paying a fortune if it’s actually worth it, will be trying PSG instead.

Fantastic experience: We went to a children's party here, it was perfect for kids to run off some energy and try some leaps and rolls. Parents can stand around at the side or take their shoes off and have a go on the balance bars etc. Nice clean toilets, big room for party meal, seats 25 comfortably. Parents have to do everything, bring food, cups drinks etc. setting table, clearing away, even hoovering up afterwards. Staff just there to supervise the gym for safety.

Fantastic experience: LOVE LOVE LOVE preschool gymnastics here... Amanda and Ellie are awesome and all the kids love them... such a great intro to gymnastics, builds their confidence and skills and lets them burn off steam :)
