The Health Club at Ribby Hall Village

Fantastic experience: I was a visitor at ribbyhall and did a couple of classes Hatton boxing was fantastic good all round workout and the trainer was fantastic lovely place with very friendly people

Fantastic experience: Fantastic gym and great atmosphere! Wonderful clean changing rooms at all times and great pool areas, the classes are great and everything is exceptionally well maintained in the main gym, do not change a thing this gym is smashing it! Absolutely worth the membership price.

Fantastic experience: Brought my niece as she asked for swimming for her birthday day out and I saw they had slides etc. Easy booking process and they easily refunded when we unfortunately couldn't make the first planned date. The pool was busy but you would expect that on a Saturday, and we still had room to swim, time to go on the slides, and there were lots of floats and dive sticks available to play with too. The changing rooms were clean, the showers were hot, and generally the staff and facilities were great. We went on the playground after too, which was really good as well. We're already planning to come again in a few weeks!

Fantastic experience: Best thing I've ever paid for, family Health club membership. I'll be paying it till the day I die! It's like having a mini centerparks membership, where you can have a few hours on holiday any day of the week.

Fantastic experience: We went there with the whole family because we received an invitation to a birthday party from my children's school friend. It was our first time at the venue. It turned out to be a very interesting place, and nearby there were several attractions, such as a mini zoo, a hotel, and a pizza place.

Fantastic experience: Only used the swimming facilities here, great staff, always seem to be cleaning and on alert. Which gives some extra peace of mind when you take your little ones.

Fantastic experience: I’m a busy single mother who was looking for a gym with a crèche. Me and my daughter went for the first time today after signing up at the weekend and we loved it. She had a great time in the crèche whilst I took part in Paul Bs HIIT class. We both went for a swim afterwards.. the pool is great for children. All the staff were lovely and helpful, especially the male cleaner in the changing rooms! Can’t wait for our next visit :-)

Fantastic experience: Really nice and got everything u need to get in shape

Positive experience: Visited the gym to take a class while my husband and I stayed for a few days. Was really looking forward to the Salsacise class. The studio was fantastic, however the class was a massive let down. The instructor did not speak through the whole class, no instruction, no encouragement. I was told by a regular that the instructor makes her own moves, I doubt this seriously!!! I teach Strictly Fitstep ( dance exercise classes) , the instructor should give basic instructions. Very poor for both regular and visiting users.

Negative experience: What an experience not to have! The facilities were filthy, bringing a young baby here I was so shocked at the level of hygiene, dirty changing rooms, blood in toilets, pool was grubby - food and dirt all over the floor when entering. Complained to reception who had very little customer service skills. Obvious to say we would not return again, such a shame.

Fantastic experience: Very smart gym, professional team that work there and lots on offer.

Negative experience: Razor and vomit on the floor in the swimming pool family changing room. Hairdryers are broken. Chlorine is far too strong, makes your eyes burn. Staff started cleaning the steam room whilst we were using it, splashing us with bleach water. Adult jacuzzi was out of order with buckets and hose pipe laying around it, looks a mess and is a trip hazard. Misting shower not working. Showers struggles to keep a consistent temperature. And then the staff switch off the lights while getting dressed. I emailed in to complain and didn't get any response. I won't be back.

Positive experience: Nice setup with polite staff, the pool is a bit to be desired as it's quite dirty wasn't always like this.. upon wearing goggles with students we take there was dirty under the pool visible floating past.

Fantastic experience: This is an outstanding setup. All staff are on the ball and always helpful. We normally only do Les Mills Body Pump.

Positive experience: Expensive for what it is. The gym has recently been refurbished and is modern, but has a limited range of equipment and overall it's quite small. The other facilities could do with a revamp, and there are regular problems with things like the jacuzzi.

Positive experience: We visited with our 2year old and 1 year old. Clean facilities, lots of life guards, brilliant facilities fir non swimming children and fun slides. We visited during peak time so we payed a little more but feel it was worth it as a treat. Will hopefully return fir the parent and toddler sessions during off peak times.

Fantastic experience: Excellent facilities, helpful and charming staff. Myself and my girlfriend are now members of the gym, I've been here for around 12 months and can't record enough. I have a personal trainer who works here and can personally recommend her and all the personal trainers for their help and dedication to allow me to achieve my goals

Fantastic experience: Best gym I've been to and it isn't down to the equipment or size of the place. I can be quite competitive, so when I found out the gym holds monthly challenges I was really excited. These are totally relaxed so I don't feel pressured to achieve anything, and can be monitored on my phone via the app to see how well I am doing and how close the competition is to me. I've found I'm going to the gym more often now simply because I don't want to lose my position! Really helps my mind focus on something whilst I burn calories, as apposed to other gyms I've been to where I walk in and do my set, I feel like this one is working better for me. After that I can go to the pool, sauna, jacuzzi and spa to chill.
